I am absolutely appalled at the way I was treated at this salon. I was searching for a new hair stylist, so what a better way to start with a groupon. This kind of bit me from behind because I ended up paying the same amount if I had just scheduled an appointment due to all of the extra fees, but I dont mind paying a little extra if the service is great. Well my service was horrible, I left there with dye all over my clothes and my face and to top it off the worst hair cut I have ever received. It was completely uneven and choppy. One side was about a full two inches longer than the other. How does a professional hair stylist not see that? Oh but he did, after I had contacted the manager she was making excuses for him on why he told her he gave such a crappy hair cut before I even called. I then was told "well he only made $20 off your services, so then made me feel like I deserved a crappy hair cut. I then was also told by the manager that they dont make anything off of groupon. Well this is not my problem what you are supposed to do is keep your clientele off of services like groupon that bring you business. But because I was not a full service customer she discriminated against me and made me feel terrible. I actually broke out into tears in the salon after she spoke with me, how embarrassing. I can not believe she is a manager, she was by no means any help and treated me as if I was just a poor girl using a groupon even though I most likely make more money than she does. The things people get away with is just appalling I have been in the customer service industry my whole life and have been a manager at a well known store and we would never treat people the way I was treated today as a lawsuit could follow. Good luck everyone if you ever have to deal with the manager of this store.

I was in search of a new hair dresser after moving back to Denver and chose Namaste Salon on a whim after looking at their website online. The prices seemed fair and the pictures of previous work I saw online seemed decent. When I arrived to my appointment I met with the stylist and gave her a general description of what I wanted and showed her a picture to give her a clearer idea of the kind of ombré look I was going for. She seemed to understand and after 4 hours of the whole process and $160 later we were done. It wasnt at all like the picture but I gave it a few days to get used to. Still completely unhappy I called back and spoke to the manager about what my options were. She said I could come back in and have it fixed with the supervision of a senior stylist. When I went back I told the stylist why I was unhappy with the color and the lack of flow (pretty blocky) of the ombré. She brought out swatches of color and started to "fix" the problem under NO supervision of a senior stylist. No one even bothered to check her work. Long story short, my hair looks the same and Im out $160. I was better off just going to Sallys and doing it myself. Although I did give 2 stars because the stylist was a nice girl and the hand massage was a plus but thats about it. Never going back. I usually would never write something like this but its been over a week since I went and I still just dislike my hair. I hope no one else will have this experience.

What makes this salon so wonderful are the amazing staff that work there. If you have a chance I would highly recommend going here. I have new curly hair ("chemo curls") that I had no idea how to properly care for. I had a consultation with Heather who took the time to talk with me and educate me on how to treat my hair and what products were best for it to remain healthy and best support the growth process. She was amazingly educated, not only in hair care, but in the Aveda products as well. I couldnt believe the amount of time Heather spent with me and she answered ALL of my questions. She made me feel excited about my new look and helped me feel confident about some areas that I was having a hard time with (they even have a product for hair breakage that I bought and use daily now)! Like I said, you wont be disappointed here. Also, it is astounding the amount of services they have to offer. My next venture is to have some esthetician work done! And even though its downtown its not hard to access. Just park at the King Soopers lot and walk right on over to the salon! No street parking! I definitely just found my hair care home!

From the time you enter the salon, its a relaxing and enjoyable experience ... you can enjoy a very serene, artsy, and friendly environment in which everyone truly makes YOU their first priority. In other words, customer service is spot on! I was visiting for a full highlight, conditioning treatment, cut, and style and could not have asked for a better experience. My stylist, Lena, really took the time to look at the "goal" pictures I brought in, talk about how to achieve the color and cut to best suit me, and away we went. The color is lovely, the cut is incredibly fun and bouncy and light for Spring, and then she styled it just amazingly (perfect for the date night I had later!). To say I am pleased would be an understatement... its always difficult in moving to a new location, much less, a new state, and having to re-establish everything (ESPECIALLY a new stylist, right ladies?!!), so having come across the combination of this salon AND this stylist are like finding the needle in the haystack. Ive found my source for fabulous Colorado hair and look forward to future return trips! Thank you Lena, and thank you Namaste!

Overall very satisfied with my visit to Namaste! I came in with the $39 groupon and was lucky enough to get Tommy as my stylist. I did have to pay $30 extra, $10 for every inch past the shoulders before cutting. So be prepared to pay a little extra if youve got longer hair. And DO NOT forget to tip your stylist. Any who, back to Tommy. He was excellent! I personally am not one that loves small talk so to have a relatively quiet stylist was a dream. There was a little conversation, enough to not be awkward, but I actually got to relax, and he could focus at the task at hand. The salon smells amazing, and I was offered hot tea, and even a refill! Tommy communicated with me the whole process to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and did I ever! He managed to remove all my damaged stuff without taking much length off, but still made the style completely different. He is great with a blunt bang ladies, so if youve been nervous of yours getting cut too short, Tommy will not disappoint. Im really satisfied with not only my cut and color, but the customer service as well. I will be back!
