The one you have to love

UPDATE ---- Recently had an appointment with Melody. Completely unimpressed with not only her professionalism but her complete lack of talent. She was repeatedly disrespectful and seemed to be more focused on the other barbers than providing me the service I paid for. And at a price point of $31.00 for a haircut I feel the attention should be more on her clients and less, what is going on around her. I would recommend this store only because I have received good service from other barbers there before. I only went to her because of time. If you’re looking for a good cut and don’t want to have to spend extra money to get your hair fixed I would stay away from Melody. Update --- Had to stop in and grab a cut. Made sure I did not get Melody. Got a decent hair cut but had to sit by Melody. She still is being very unprofessional. Overheard talking about her sex life, party life and how much of an A-hole her Ex is. Felt sorry for the person she was working on because who wants to listen that all that. Just plain out stay away from her.

They are doing an absolute disservice to their clients by not training their staff appropriately. Having to be there for 2 hours to get what was supposed to be a grey blending service is ridiculous! There was supposed to be no red at all and came out looking copper almost like a penny and all of the grey was covered and she didnt even go all the way down to the scalp so half of the hair was colored. The manager was completely rude and trying to rush the stylist. Booked online and the price ended up being different because she did a completely different service and didnt explain the price difference and went ahead and just did it. If you dont know what your doing then just dont do it.

My first time in to this place. Heard good things about it. The 2 star review is Solly based on the fact that I schedule a appointment with Melody and got someone else. One of the nice things (I thought) of this place is that u get to choose who cuts your hair. I think meldoy was there she just left "to get something to drink" so she didnt have o cut my hair and cut some guys hair she wanted to "hook up" with. At least thats what I got from the conversation that was happening. Although the service I got was great I wish the barber I chose cut my hair. Not very organized.

Excellent cut & facial with Marissa! Always a great experience! To the client that was rude to the employees after he arrived FIFTEEN minutes late to his appointment & couldnt be seen - put on your big boy pants, have some respect, & be responsible enough to get yourself to your appointment on time! Im sorry he was so rude, but the staff handled the situation professionally & tactfully. I wouldnt have been so kind LOL Regardless, I enjoyed my appointment & had the most relaxing day Ive had in weeks thanks to Marissa. You guys are the best!

My first haircut was great. Every haircut after has become progressively worse. My last hair cut there was so far from what I asked for. Thats ok, usually, because thats happens, but the quality of the cut is so bad. Everything is uneven, my part is way off, and though I asked for a fade in the back its a lopsided rounded situation. She didnt offer to show the back of my head and I was suspicious, but figured it was kinda busy. Now I know. The beer is good. Is the beer worth a bad haircut? Not for me.

This is my second time here and first time was really good and liked it. This time I dont remember his name, but he is real arrogant... After haircut I saw the difference in length between my side cuts and asked him to correct it, he said he didnt see any difference and asked for another colleague opinion and she said same what I said that she could see difference and then uses f****** word to correct his mistake. What a wrong man in that place. If he doesnt like his job he should stop doing it.....

This Roosters is the best haircut experience in town. The staff is loaded with the most talented stylists and the atmosphere is always great and professional. I book with Melody - she does great work and is always fun. Never had a bad experience and will continue coming here until my hair falls out. If you are looking for a new place to try because your current barber or stylist isnt cuttin it, then head here and ask for Melody!

Good atmosphere and the girls are friendly and hospitable. Over the course of the year theyve been open, Ive had my hair cut there five times by five different girls and they managed to screw it up each time. When Id had enough and just wanted a refund, they told me they didnt know how, but that they could give me a free haircut. Why would I want another bad haircut? Service is no better than Great Clips at twice the cost.

Ive been coming to this shop for a little over a year now and I absolutely love this place! I have a very trendy and difficult haircut which Geno (the baber I always see) does a perfect job every time. He is also very knowledgeable and gives me tips on how to improve my hair, and recomebds products. I honestly would never trust my hair to any other Barber.

Horrendous!!! They just took clippers and shaved off my hair. I was dumbfounded and in total shock. They are lazy and want nothing more than to make fast bucks! I NEVER had a worse haircutting experience or hair cut! When the damaged was done, and they realized their mistake, I was told "well, it will grow back". This place needs to be shut down!

I only go there once or twice a year but my experience has always been pleasant. I have only ever had top notch stylist. I usually go for the full service get a hair cut with the full beard shave. Let me tell you awesome! I dont do reviews but had my beard trimmed up today and did service for me I dont look homeless anymore. Thanks Roosters

The haircuts are a little more expensive (~$30), but youre doing yourself a disservice by not coming here. The staff is great and its an incredibly relaxing experience. I actually look forward to getting my hair cut now. I book with Erica and she does an amazing job every time. Youll be happy you spent the money when youre done.

Had my haircut done by Geno twice. Both times he refused to do shampoo claiming he was running late for his next appointment. $31 dollars and not even shampoo pprrr never going there again. On top of that i didnt leave a tip due to poor service and Geno gave me a super nasty attitude for not leaving a tip.

Went in to get a haircut at 7:15 and said I couldnt get my haircut. The girl behind the counter very friendly but the guy behind her shaking his head no. Ive 5going to Roosters (Belmar)for 2 years with my 4 sons. If it says your open till 8pm then do service till then. You just lost 5 customers.

Great place. A real different experience and a very enjoyable one. When you hear a barber shop has beer you think its going to be a douchy "buffalo wild wings" of barbershops, but that would be sport clips. Roosters was surprisingly classy, very friendly/professional, and Im sure Ill be back.
