Melissa has done my hair many times. As a former hair stylist myself I trust very few with my locks. Mel is probably the best set of hand to ever lay on my head and I was truly saddened when she moved away from me, but happy for her to start her journey. She is an amazing hair stylist and makeup artist. She always listens to exactly what I want and does an even better job then I hoped for. She has done my color, cut, style, makeup and eyebrow and I was always leaving her feeling beautiful and refreshed! I remember one time I had a last minute party to attend where the theme was 20s Gatsby. I called Mel and she told me to come right in. I was running around shopping for my attire all day I couldnt have even pulled off this look on my own. In no time she had my hair done up exactly how I imagined it using a headpiece and makeup looking amazing and off to the party I went feeling fabulous. I had so many compliments that night. Shes the best and I wish you all the luck with your new salon, you deserve it!

Melissa OConnell is the owner of this salon. She did an amazing job on a haircut, color, and style for my hair. I was able to have fun while Melissa did my hair due to her wonderful personality and her ability to anticipate what I wanted and what would look best for my hair. She listened to exactly what I stated I liked and made the experience a great one. This is hands down the best hair stylist Ive ever been to. She did a co workers and my own hair (ombré) and I can say Ive never been more pleased. If you need even a simple cut, I highly recommend her. I have never stuck with the same hair stylist because I didnt think they were worth their price or my hair turned out bad. I can honestly say Melissa is the most knowledgeable stylist Ive ever used and Im highly satisfied. I will only use her from now on!

Mel is a wonderful hair stylist! She fixed the color in my wifes hair and dyed it, its totally gorgeous! She trimmed my hair into a very fun and funky style. She not only has a great eye, she is a very experienced hair stylist. Her space is so cool and comfortable in an industrial rock kind of way. The couch is very comfy and nap worthy if youre there a long time. Absolutely will go back, will recommend. Go to her and support an awesome local artist!

If you are/were looking for "Pauls Barber Shop" on Union and Mississippi, He has left the hair-cutting business on Late October. Seven Sins Salon has moved into the store from another location. She is highly skilled and can do women AND mens haircuts, as well as the "old-fashioned" ways of a barber shop. She cut my hair and is very informative, did a great job and is very nice. I plan to go back on my next haircut.

Mel has been doing my hair for about 4 years now and I refuse to go to anyone else! If you look at my photos youll see how amazing she is at cuts and color. Her old salon was STUPID for letting her leave but now Im so glad she owns her own salon. Cant wait for this new salon to be fully up and running so I can be the first one she gives a cut to at Seven Sins Salon!
