I usually go to a great clips every 3 weeks or so to get a quick haircut, I understand you get what you pay for, but I cant justify spending 30 bucks at a real barbershop for something that only lasts a few weeks. So a bad haircut happens now and again and I normally never complain, but the stylists behavior is what led me to say something this time. She started the haircut by telling me she likes my poca dots (natural patches of blonde in my brown hair) followed by a literal neener neener haha about my upcoming 30th birthday, she dropped the blade part of her clippers and proceeded to fake cry and say "poor clippers dropping you on the floor like no one cares about you." Then borderline angrily agrued that i dont take Facebook right when it came up in conversation that I think Facebook is the worst trend of today....As for the actual cut itself, I asked for a number 1 faded to skin on the sides and a trim on top. What I got was a quick Buzz on the sides and only a few hairs on the front of my head cut. She missed half of the back of my neck and didnt blend or fade any of it. When she finished and turned the chair towards the mirror and asked me if I recognised myself, she took my stunned silence as a compliment and then finished it up by tossing a towel at me and saying to wipe the hair off my face and shoulders. I should have complained at the time, but I was in a hurry and didnt want to extend my interaction with this eccentric manic any longer. Im sure in her native colorado springs that passes for a luxury salon experience, but up here in civilized society, it was the weirdest haircut Ive ever gotten....

Sorry, but if I want half an hours unsolicited criticism of my dye job and how I take care of my hair, Ill go to an actual salon. My hair isnt great and Im aware of that, but two times out of the three Ive gone here, Ive spent the entire time listening to how damaged my hair is and watching the "stylist" wince as she reviewed/cut my hair. Same stylist both times that I had a bad experience. The stylist I had my first time was professional, cut the way I asked, made pleasant conversation, and (as is required) politely tried to sell me some product. We all gotta make a buck, and the women was so nice I almost bought something! (I almost bought the product I already use). Second and third times I visited this place, I got a stylist whose social skills are seriously lacking. No, my hair isnt amazing, but I dont want to come out of a haircut feeling like I should just shave my head to mitigate the damage. The worst part is that she didnt even try to sell me something for me damage hair...apparently she just got pleasure out of telling me my hair was a disaster. I will NEVER go back to this place. Just because of this one "stylist."

I was a repeat customer at the Great Clips St. Vrain Center until tonight. I really liked the quality of haircuts that I received there. However, after being requested every time that I came in to check-in on-line I finally did. I was told that had a 36 minute wait so I showed up in 35 minutes. As I entered the store I was met by a young lady that preceded to tell me that I had another 20 minutes or so before I could get a haircut. As I reminded her that I checked-in on-line she said it didnt matter that people were going home but she was sorry. This may sound petty but apparently my time isnt important to this store and the receptionists placating apology make me want to return to this store ever again. I would have assumed that in such a competitive business as hair salons that commitment to customers would be a priority but I guess this salon has customers to burn.

I often take my boys in for haircuts, but I rarely get my haircut- maybe once a year- it is long, straight, and not much of a hassle. Unfortunately, there is one particular stylist I would avoid. He cut my hair very badly- horrible in fact! My 7 year old could have cut it better. I had to return to get it fixed, and a stylist named AnnEtte rescued me! She listened, understood, and fixed my hair perfectly! It was a busy morning when I returned, but I was seen immediately. Great clips is great, but always try to request a stylist, because you dont know who you might end up with. AnnEtte is a wonderful choice!!!

First review ever. Roxanne was nice enough, but between her awful singing and lack of hair cutting skills my experience was poor. I have bad cowlicks on both sides of my hair. If it isnt cut right they stick out, when she "finished" I asked her about fixing them, she told me it was because my hat pushed the hair down and proceeded to do one side only, she didnt even touch my bangs. I have awful hair and its hard to cut, but this is the worst haircut I have ever had. Last thing my haircut took 8 minutes, my kid got a buzz and his lasted 13 minutes. Its too bad people dont care about their work.

Worst perm ever. "Stylist" did not follow the directions for the perm. She had a very bad attitude - like giving me a perm was a hardship for her. She did not offer to cut my hair when she was done with the perm. Initially, hair was curly but the back fell out in about a week or so and the part of the perm that did "take" became a frizzy mess. I had a lot of hair fall out, too. It took 2 haircuts to make it look decent (at a different Great Clips.) I have always liked Great Clips so I went to the north Hover store and had another perm there. It is perfect.

Brought my boys in for a haircut...there was a 20 mins wait so had time to observe...thank goodness after watching the employees we left before haircuts. The one stylist was looking around and outside the whole time she was cutting hair and the professionalism was minimal with side conversations about ex boyfriends and music playing. Didnt feel comfortable having that stylist cut either of my boys hair and there was only 2 cutting. Used to go there when Stephanie worked/ managed there ...shows that she isnt there anymore!

I tried to like the place, but I cant. It is absolutely true what other reviewers point out. The ladies that cut the hair dont even care, they dont even shampoo or wet your hair before cutting it. One of them was mumbling all the time about her personal problems. And very true: if you are from another country and dark skin they dont even treat you with respect. I will not go there anymore, I might try the Hover location next time or keep going to Montage Academy, at least those girls do care about learning.

Dont want to give even a single star. Horrible experience ever! First time in my entire life, this woman made me feel I have the worst hair on this earth. They dont even care how you want your hair to be cut, and dont even bother to listen to the style you are saying them. And most importantly, if you are from another country and have darker skin, they are not nice and make you feel like you know nothing. Horrible... horrible experience being in the salon ever!!! I dont think I will return to this place again!
