Why would I give 5 starts to this studio and say not others? Whats so different about it? INTENTION. Carlos Castaneda wrote in one of his books: "In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable FORCE which shamans call INTENT, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a [non-visible to humans of today] connecting link." The intention of the founder as well as its current owner, none of which are friends of mine, I wanted to clarify this just in case... have decided to keep this studio LOW KEY and AFFORDABLE. No cool studio, no preppie concept, no upscale and elite we are cool, you are not... low key automatically means, you come in and do your thing, LEARN POSES that will benefit you and only you regardless of the environment. Thats for those curious about this yoga studio - For those that have never been exposed to Yoga, WHY YOGA? Why not pilates, jazzercise, kickboxing, MMA, tango or zumba??? Once again, the keyword is INTENTION. After 7-8 years of knee pain on both legs and having doctors tell me Weve done MRIs and X-rays and there is nothing serious there, only inflammation im sorry but we cant pinpoint THE REASON behind the pain and inflammation... We have however a pain killer, 800mg of Ibuprofen would take care of the pain... So after I exhausted all kinds of exercises, acupuncture and deep massages and pretty much giving up on the knew pain I once stumbled upon this studio on my own. ONE POSE (a transition between warrior & triangle) , ONE MINUTE HOLD, and viola! my knee pain went away AND I FELT IT right there and there. IT BLEW ME AWAY. My pain on the right knee would linger for much longer but since Pandoras box opened it must have been something else going there. I eventually CURED it with a different pose ((Vajrasana / Kneeling pose). I kept asking myself, what is this magic? Whoever created or structured yoga poses eons ago, they must have been aware of two very powerful things: STRUCTURE AND ENERGY FLOW in the human body. Just like you have a car where it is ideal to warm up the engine before you start using it, the human body takes a major beating on a daily basis, office seating, arched backs, zero stretching, etc..Office desks were only created 60-100 years ago and our bodies were meant TO MOVE FORWARD on a constant basis, not seating for 8-10 hours a day!!!. This lack of exercise on a daily basis, is rendering our bodies futile, it is prostrating it to a broken toy status... When you add mental stress to the mix, a killer combination is then triggered that will eventually end up in PAIN (the levels will depend on each individual pain will arise none the less). Yogas INTENTION is then to RESET, to send the body back to its normal state - a painless state just like when you were a kid and could do all kinds of things without feeling miserable the next day. Most of us did not feel pain during a good decade or two until we entered the work force... Dont get hang up on a particular yoga studio or style, EXPERIMENT, many studios, many styles so your very own YOUR BODY can finally tell the difference. Thank you Whole Yoga, I quit going to you and I should back to yoga but my intention is to provide a guide to those that are looking for light at the end of the tunnel. No magic bullet, no blue or red pill but the OPTION ITSELF, the path to a change, a path to a better outlook n life. We ALL deserve such chance. The choice is ours.

This lovely studio is unpretentious and welcoming, with the most knowledgeable teachers Ive yet to come across. Whole Yoga instructors gracefully create classes that teach the principles of Yoga, using the practice of asana while actively incorporating the other tenants of Yoga. Their seamless classes facilitate self-awareness through breath and movement while emphasizing kindness and compassion with ourselves and others. I cannot recommend this studio enough to brand new and practiced Yogis alike. I love Whole Yoga.

I feel blessed to have discovered Whole Yoga. I was new to yoga when I first started taking lessons at the Whole Yoga Studio of Denver, and Great instructors, just the best! Im not flexible, but the teachers are very good at helping me get into modified poses so that physical limitations dont have to stop me. The prices are comparable or cheaper to other yoga studios around denver, they even have $5 classes. I really recommend Whole Yoga.

Whole Yoga is a really great studio! All of the instructors here really go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and they help you with your practice no matter your ability. They also offer classes during all times of the day, so whether you like to practice early in the morning or later in the evening, Whole Yoga has a class for you. Marks classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings are my favorites! Try it out!

I like the local boutique yoga studios....but what a refreshing alternative Whole Yoga is! Its low key, people know one another, its not at all pretentious. And great instruction. Best of all, the teachers let me bring my newborn! I only did it a few times, but I will never forget practicing at Whole Yoga with my newborn lying there next to my mat. And the other students were so open to it. Thank you.

Ive been doing yoga for 45 years, with numerous teachers. The teachers at Whole Yoga are the BEST! Ahimsa (Compassion) Yoga is based on moving in ways that benefit YOUR body, not some abstract perfect body in a training manual. And integrating breath, mind, spirit, heart into your practice distinguishes yoga from exercise regimens. Yoga can be life-changing - Whole Yoga is a great place to find out!

I highly recommend the classes, programs, and workshops at Whole Yoga! I participated in the Yoga Immersion Program last summer with Susan and Oscar as my teachers. The experience made a lasting impression on not only my practice, but my perspective on life. I also appreciate that Whole Yoga offers opportunities for chanting and meditation in addition to asana.

I have been going to Whole Yoga off and on for the past few years. The reason I continue to go to Whole Yoga is the welcoming environment for all - all ages, all body shapes, all genders. It is also a little more affordable than some other studios; that is not what brings me back but I appreciate the cost consciousness as it makes yoga more available.

Wonderful yoga teachers and all welcoming atmosphere. The classes are more about how your body is feeling and less about getting a sweaty work out, although depending on the teacher that happens too. Love that they provide all the props you need plus yoga mats! So happy I found Whole Yoga!!

I love this place. $5 classes make a guided class available to everybody. They always have fun workshops and great teachers. Id only been to one class before going to Whole Yoga a few years back and would recommend them to new or experienced students alike.

Love Whole Yoga! Its such a nice, low-key atmosphere where everyone is welcome. All teachers are certified and demonstate how to modify poses if you arent strong enough yet or have an injury. And you cant beat a $5 or $12 class!
