Have been a member for nearly 2 years: Pros: Convenience to my office, polite front door staff, fairly clean, Pauls (director) door is always open to speak to members. Cons: 1. Fitness director (Ray) has limited customer service skills 2. Price is expensive for a club that has shower fixtures that are not caulked into the wall, has constant leaks over the track, during cold spells needs to make alternative heating arrangements in the mens locker room and locks up simple basic gym equipment. 3. Had an gym exercise area with pullup bars, wall balls, kettle bells, jump ropes, and some other misc. gym equipment that was open for all members to use when the facility had an active cross fit program. A. This past June when the XFIT program folded, they locked the room down for almost 2 months and made some minor renovations and re-branded the area as HIT (high intensity training) and locked the doors unless you were a personal trainer or payed for their monthly classes. Ray promised in July that all of the equipment available in that room would be able to found elsewhere in the club when the new training area opened. SIX Months later it is still not available and I have to ask them to let me in to get a kettle bell, or wall ball, or box. Sometimes they are not sure where the key is and cannot get in. When you ask the trainers about the room they all think it is silly to keep it lock and all mention worries about being fired by Ray for leaving a room with basic fitness equipment unlocked. Just plain ridiculous. B. Since the renovation has been complete I have been to the facility roughly 35 times and have seen the room being utilized by the staff 2x. I could understand if the facility provided access to the equipment in all other areas of the gym, or if the room was in constant use, but neither has occurred. How long does it take to get a duplicate set of balls, kettles, or pull up bars?????? C. Have spoken to Ray and Paul multiple times about this issue and Ray should have limited access to speak with members, but Paul has mentioned multiple times that it would be resolved, and this last time mentioned that they are "a big company and he is just told what to do." IE make money....which I am ok with, but just be honest about it and dont string your members along. If convenience, limited equipment, outdated facilities, and an arrogant fitness director is worth your $120 a month, then this is the place for you! Save your money and join DAC, 24HR, Liftetime or the YMCA.

Ive been a member at the CAC for about a year now, and I love it! Ive been seriously working out for about 9 months now (6x a week) and have been able to grow in the CAC. As mentioned by another user, the cardio and weights are usually pretty empty - Ive never had to wait for a machine. The showers are dated, yes, but the locker room is tasteful and well maintained. There are some classes and programs that cost extra, but the majority of them (especially those outside of tennis) are free. The classes are very enjoyable and are taught by a variety of instructors, and are offered at many of the CAC campuses. There is a wide variety of machines as well as plenty of free weights, which Ive used more and more of over the months and had no problems with. Machines are rarely out of order, and I consider most of them to be up to date. As previously alluded to, there are multiple CAC campuses, including the DTC, downtown Denver, Monaco, Boulder, etc. which makes it possible to seek different buildings and facilities under the same membership. I am truly thankful for this gym, and while there are minor drawbacks, the benefits and perks far outweigh those.

Overall, we loved the athletic components of this club. Administratively it was a complete disaster. If you dont have to deal with the accounting people (who are in a completely different location and cant ever tell you anything) you will probably be okay. We were over-billed on multiple occasions and getting it fixed was nearly impossible. The managers are immature, rude and argumentative. My kids loved the summer camps and I loved the gym but once they starting screwing up our bills it took way too much effort and frustration getting them fixed. If they would put half the effort into keeping clients they wouldnt have to put so much effort into recruiting/harnessing you to come back.

I was amazingly unimpressed with this gym. It is not a purpose built gym, so equipment is stashed off in odd shaped rooms. The equipment is very old and the selection is very limited. The feel of the gym is awkward, and not a place I want to workout in. There is absolutely nothing that makes this feel like an upscale gym, but what I honestly expect one of those $10 a month gyms to be like. The "discounted" price is around $95, plus another $25 a month if you want to use other CAC gyms. Given that LifeTime Fitness is down the road and offers a huge array of equipment, is significantly nicer, and only $79 a month, I simply dont understand why anyone would choose CAC.

I train here for tennis all the time and this is the best athletic club I have ever belonged to. I dont know about all the problems you other reviewers have, but the gym is fantastic and the tennis staff treat me like family and are willing to go out of their way to help you reach your goals. This is the premier tennis training club in Colorado in my own opinion. Even without the tennis, the facilities are top noch for any athlete.

Terrible place. Everything is old in this facility. Not enough Tennis leagues and poorly run. Complete disappointment. Their member policy and cancellation rules are shady and set up so that nothing can take effect until the 1st of the next month. I suspended my account because it was so bad. When I went back to finally cancel it they told me that I needed to pay an additional month just to cancel my account. Horrible....

This is a horrible place! They lie to people before they sign on a membership , give them gifts and than you are bound for a year without anybody care for you or even talking to you! you want your money to go down the drain? then sign. be careful what you sign - they care only about signing you, not about their members!

I have been a member for 4 years and love it. The tennis program is amazing and gives good technique and instruction. The workout gym is clean and the trainors are good. Also they offer free workout . classes that push you to the limit. i love the club it is clean and modern.

The facilities are decent but the membership and high pressure of joining were the main reason I would never go back/ recommend to anyone I like. There are many clubs out there. Stay away from this one.

Good club. Very big with lots of equipment, so almost never too crowded. Lots of amenities. The building itself is a little dated, but they do a great job keeping the equipment up and running.
