The work crew sent out by GBS Roofing turned my property into a complete mess, with shingles ripped off our roof and thrown down to the ground without regard for where they landed. My garden and landscaping were thrashed by the debris. They also did not bother to cover any of my belongings in the garage, which were littered with nails, tar, and debris. Luckily our cars werent in the garage, so they werent damaged, but the household items we were storing in the garage (we were in the middle of moving to a new house) took a beating. There were hundreds of nails covering the garage floor when I tried to park my car that evening. We found nails several other places on the property as well! This company had a great salesman come to look at our roof and told us that he would work with our insurance company to make sure that we didnt have to pay anything above our deductible. Our insurance company approved the claim, but there were several unfortunate circumstances that caused delay in their payment to us. GBS Roofing was kept informed about the delays, but still felt compelled to threaten us with the prospect of having a lien filed against the property. I was shocked that, even after they trashed my landscaping and garage, they would be so inflexible when it came to demanding payment! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I have been a repeat GBS customer for over 12 years. The first time I called GBS, I thought I needed a new roof, they explained that a repair would take care of the problem, saving me a great deal of money. They were right, that repaired roof lasted perfectly until the big hail storm of June 2016. They were there with me to meet with the insurance adjuster after that storm, making sure that all of the damage the house suffered was noted and included in the estimate if possible. They knew the procedure for getting my HOA approval , and quickly too. Once work was started it was beautifully completed within 3 days. They rolled the property for loose nails, and picked up by hand everything and everywhere the roller couldnt go. I have dogs and they were very respectful of not letting them out of the backyard and not leaving anything that would be a danger to their paws or digestion. We have a second house about 15 miles away from the first one, so different hail storms hit that area. That home needed two new roofs about 16 months apart because of hail storms as well. I didnt even think twice about who I needed to call, it was GBS. Their performance every time has been exemplary. I recommend their service wholeheartedly.

This is my 2nd experience with GBS They are awesome. Scott suggested a gutter color to go with my choice of roof and I love it. Samantha and Amanda have been so helpful and patient beyond words with my insurance company and mortgage company who drug their feet. Drew made several trips to pick up checks from me as insurance co dribbled them in, always with a smile. They are the most efficient company I have ever done business with. fast, left no debris even sent someone with a magnet to look for stray nails. have and will continue to recommend them.
