My husband and I started the process of buying our first home last year - just as the housing market around Denver exploded. We were new to the process and felt not only overwhelmed by it but also very discouraged. We chose Madlom after hearing them on the radio and from the very first interaction we were very impressed with their professionalism, how thoroughly they communicated and the amount of information they made readily available to us. We worked with Hope Larson and she took the time to really learn what was most important to us. Almost all of the homes we visited were in the evenings because of our work schedules and she set up last minute appointments for us almost every time. She did all of it with a smile and was so encouraging even during the times we wanted to give up. Once we settled on a home she communicated with us through the whole process, helped us navigate all of the paperwork and made it a very simple and pain free experience. She was so easy to work with it felt like wed known her for years. She also did research on her own to find and suggest homes that fit what we were looking for and that hadnt popped up on my radar yet. She really went the extra mile to help us not only find a home, but find the right home for us. I purchased my first home/condo through Charles (Charlie) Des Rosiers in the first quarter of 2016. I had known Charlie for a year before I even inquired about his services, and can comfortably/confidently say hes one of the most personable and genuine guys in the business. Throughout the entire process, he was the same Charlie I knew. He never pressured me into a property, and wasnt afraid to tell me his opinion of whatever we looked at. You are never a number with Charlie, either. My budget is what you could call...minuscule...by Denver standards, and he NEVER put me on the back burner. If I wanted to see a property, he scheduled a showing immediately. If I had questions, he answered them VERY promptly. If he didnt know the answer, he found out and got back to me ASAP. I was never brushed off for a larger client, and he made the effort to make sure I was comfortable proceeding with my purchase. He did a fantastic job of presenting every piece of information and opportunity he could, and not once did I ever feel rushed or unsure. He did everything right, and I didnt have a single doubt when we put in the winning offer. Hes been HIGHLY recommended to friends, and at this time he is actively assisting several of them. We purchased our home from Madlom less than a year ago. It was a property they purchased and flipped. It looked like a great home from all regards at the showing. In less than a year almost everything has gone wrong. We have spent thousands of dollars in repairs due to water damage and electrical issues that they and/or their contractor executed. Simple things such as (new) doors and cabinets are falling apart and literally in some cases, barely hanging from the hinges. Also, Chads appearance at closing was less than stellar. He showed up 30-40 minutes late and we all just had to sit there and wait for him. When I asked him for the second key and garage door opener he said, "a key costs a dollar and you can get a garage door opener at home depot for like twenty bucks right?" In no way would I ever buy a home that they touch ever again.

Last summer we contacted Stephen Bernauer, at Madlom Real Estate, about helping us secure a condominium in central Denver. Stephen was patiently went with us to a number of candidate properties, listened to our discussion about aspects we liked or disliked, and helped hone down the search. He even was willing to wait through the summer while we were out of the country. After we returned in late August, we started looking in earnest, and he helped us navigate the tricky process of submitting a bid, and then refining that bid so as to successfully secure the property. The end result was highly satisfactory, an outcome for which Stephen deserves substantial credit. I recommend him very highly.

I have been working with Stephen Bernauer from Madlom Real Estate regarding the sale of my parents home. Stephen has been very helpful in assisting me with the process and he has provided many resources (decorator to advise on the best presentation of the house, viable comparables, research of legal answers to questions, etc.) to help with the sale. I have worked with several agents throughout the years and have found that most have been high pressure and only concerned about getting their commission as quickly as possible with no regard for the client. Stephen has a genuine concern for his clients and he truly cares about them. I would recommend Stephen without ANY hesitation!!

Stephen took very good care of us both when selling our home and finding a new one. He quickly got our house on the market with amazing photos and a fair price. I recommend the Madlom team every chance that I get. Even though they work as a team, I always knew I could call Dan Jacobs with any issues. He advised me in getting the property ready for sale & it was amazing how many showings we had in the first weekend. I received two offers above asking.
