Hands down, EXCELLENT customer service. I had many problems with my computer when I brought it to these guys. The problem consisted of a power failure which basically blew out everything inside. I was given fantastic customer service each time I went in there (took a few times to figure out what was wrong because everything was blown). I was a bit mislead due to initially not realizing it was more than just power supply. Rich, who worked on my computer, went above and beyond what I had expected. He replaced my case fan, a failed hard drive with "extra hardware" he had laying around AND had to reinstall....no charge to me. I paid for everything else as far as parts from them (very competitive prices) to fix my computer but when it was said and done, I got my computer back with no labor charge on my bill. I thought customer service didnt exist anymore. If you want your computer done right, take it to these guys because they do business right. And, dont expect some young dude that sits around and plays video games all day thinking hes a computer geek...THESE GUYS ARE PROS!!! They have my business for life! I bought a cheap, low-end, new laptop with Windows 8 on it. Out of the box the laptop couldnt even run Windows software updates successfully. I couldnt tell whether there was something seriously wrong with it, or just a bad configuration. Instead of sitting on the phone with the manufacturer for the rest of eternity, I brought it to the laptop guy at Computer Specialists. He said that the problem was caused by all the demoware and adware that had been installed by the manufacturer. He talked to me about what I wanted to keep on the computer, and threw in an install of Win 8.1 and a free pre-Win8-like menu app. The price for getting my brand new computer to work was $50, and worth it. Previously they diagnosed bad capacitors in a refurb computer we had bought online. They explained the problem and gave us pictures, and we where able to send the refurb back. They also fixed a laptop that had become infected with a killer popup. They have become my go-to guys for family computer troubles. They will also install Ubuntu, which is becoming more tempting by the day.

These are the Real Thing! I took my hubbys laptop through two computer tech experts, one of whom is an engineer as well - $$$- then went to FOUR storefronts supposedly stocked with computer repair techs, and NOBODY I spoke with had a clue what to make of its behavior. I finally noticed their CSL storefront and gave them a call. From the same description given all the others, Mike knew immediately what was wrong, and when I brought it in and he checked it, he was proven correct. It needed a new SSD. Since then, no matter what the problem with any of our computers, these fellows have been Right There knowing exactly what needed fixing or knew how to put a system through the paces to find out. Absolutely Rock of Gibraltar-dependable work, dependable experience - they are encyclopedias of information - and charge unusually fair pricing. Friendly folks, too. Can they be recommended more highly than 5 stars? I would.

My hard drive crashed. I took it in to have another put in. Their bench fee was responsible. But they put in a hard drive that runs too hot for my computer. It was damaged. Being from out of town and having to find another computer company at home, it took me a little longer than 72 hours to call them about it. When I was able to get back to Longmont they did get me back the money for the hard drive but subtracted 20 percent for a restocking fee because i didnt bring it back in 72 hours. Does this mean that the will put this bad hard drive into someone elses computer? The also charged $75.00 to copy the info from my original bad drive to the new one that went bad. I had this drive checked out by a third computer guy who verified that the new drive was bad. I feel ripped off. They also wanted to charge me $250.00 to get the computer up and running. BE CAREFUL!

This is the best place since sliced bread came out - these guys/gals will make youre experience with a custom build a dream! They are not greedy or your typical sales jockey - They care about you - your needs and will only charge you accordingly. I have come a LONG way since they built my system and have modified it greatly. Everything sine 2007 is rock solid and I have never had a computer last this long with solid results - these ARE the go to guys!!! Very Happy! I am very happy to go back and I recommend our company does as well - If you are not pleased, please check your level of education - they do NOT screw you like other places ( Best Buy, etc)

Absolutely excellent customer service! I spilled some water on my mechanical keyboard a couple days back, and when I called larger companies like best buy and miracle PC they said they couldnt do anything to help me. However when I called Computer Specialists of Longmont they said they were happy to take a look to see if they could fix it. They called me the day after I brought it in telling me they had it it all fixed up, and it works like new! They were also extremely nice understanding people who were happy to explain to me what went wrong and how they fixed it. I highly recommend this place to anyone with computer repair needs.

Ive worked with these guys since they opened. They have saved me thousands of dollars! I have referred them to several friends and family and NEVER regretted it. If your tired of buying from a big box store with NO service then these guys are your answer. They do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it for the agreed upon price. AND they will tell you the truth even if it means they make less money. If I could find more business like this I would never shop for anything on the internet to save a dime again!

My experience with this company was outstanding! I had spent weeks on the phone with HP asking me to be their tech person to fix my computer. It was so frustrating & in the end, my computer was never fixed. I went to Computer Specialists of Longmont, based on a friends recommendation & I couldnt be more pleased. I dropped my laptop off, they kept me up to date on the progress, & in a matter of a few days I had it back, & working great! The price was also very reasonable. Thank you CSL!!!

Im glad I found this shop, they did great work, and quickly. Ive never taken any computer to any computer store, ever, so I was hesitant. Coincidentally, it turns out I knew one of the employees and knew I was in good hands. Ill be going back for parts since they also carry quality items in that department.

Computer Specialists in Longmont has repaired hardware on my computer twice and did an excellent job. Also they transferred files from two old computers to two new computers and did a fantastic job. The move to the new computers was seamless. Their prices are also good. I highly recommend the team.
