Do not join or contribute to this place. The equipment is old and shoddy. Further, they make it difficult to cancel. I called in, asked them to cancel my membership and was told my membership was cancelled. Three months later, the idiots sent me a bill for several months. When I told them I had cancelled, they stated that to cancel I needed to go in, sign a paper, etc. Because I had not done that, they said I owed them for several months of membership and if I did not pay they would send me to collections. I paid because it was too much of a pain to waste my time with the idiots. I provide this opinion to warn others away from this crap hole. Ciao.

My 7 year old daughter goes to the Ys summercamp and every day she wants to go earlier and earlier, even though I only need her to be there from 9am, which I think says a lot! She enjoys the activities and being with kids her age. I enjoy the knowledge that she is safe, having a good time and that someone else is entertaining her! I like all the free classes we get with our membership, especially the spinning and group classes. Its great to be part of the Ys organization, who are encouraging better health for the whole community - not just those that can afford a fancy gym. The Y offers scholarship discounts, so theres no excuse not to join!

I appreciate the fact that YMCAs serve the community, they do a lot of good especially for kids. But a friend dragged me here for a yoga class recently and I vow I will never take yoga at a YMCA again. It was clear that the instructor had been doing yoga for a short time, maybe just a few years. Shes one of those personal trainer gym types who belongs in a spin class not a yoga studio. I know Im a tough judge because Ive studied yoga for decades and have taught for over 10 years but its so disappointing to encounter this more and more, untrained "teachers" who take up space that could be filled by real yoga practitioners.

After moving to town I looked into literally every gym in Longmont. For the price and what you get, the Longmont YMCA is by far the best choice. They even offer a scholarship program to reduce your membership rate based on your income which helped me out majorly. The group fitness instructors are awesome and really give you a kick butt workout. They also offer so many great programs and events for kids.

Terrible customer service. I called and one of the employees told me they would offer my 2 young boys and I free membership since my husband is military and is deployed. I went in to get a membership only to be told by another employee at the front desk that they dont offer that. All employees should have the same training!! We wont be getting our membership here

Very expensive membership, almost twice as much as city recreational services where you get a lot more amenities. Low-paid staff and workout facilities are marginal at best--the Y is more into social agendas these days. If youre seriously into fitness, the City of Longmont with its marvelous Rec Center is the way to go. Twice the value at half the cost.

Best gym in all of Longmont, hands down. Their personal trainers are outstanding and have taught me a tremendous amount about nutrition and about how to exercise efficiently. Ive lost a little over 30 lbs and havent felt this great in years. Whats more, my two sons love their programs. Im grateful to have a gym this good that is so reasonably priced.

Wonderful! I love what the Y stands for: healthy mind, body and spirit! Its a great place for kids! My oldest daughter went to many summer camps when she was young and she said by far the Y is the best! Now my youngest is in the program and loves it too! Thank you Longmont YMCA for providing a great environment to nurture growing minds!

Excellent establishment. I remember using these facilities when i was a child and Im glad they are still around. They are very helpful and useful in many different aspects. They offer great activities for individuals and families. Im very grateful for YMCA. The employees are nice and the facilities are excellent.

Great pool for doing water aerobics by myself. I suffer from both fibromyalgia and PTSD with social anxiety. The pool is generally very quiet and with the additional help of waterproof mp3 player (listening to audio books) I am able to block out enough to get some exercise without too much anxiety.

The Longmont YMCA has a great work out gym plus I am continually impressed with their caliber of exercise classes. The Y is the fitness and wellness hub in Longmont.

Nice gym, lots of space, good classes, and non-competitive. There are almost always open machines and rooms in classes.
