If you dont mind being personally harassed when attempting to cancel your supposed "month-to-month" membership then this nasty place is for you! I was told it was a month-to-month experience, no contracts and tried the gym for several months. It is right near our job so a couple of co-workers and I joined, and I even chose the family membership for my husband and adult children to use. I got charged a monthly fee, and after a couple months a yearly fee on top of that (I knew it was coming, but it wasnt worth the cost, something you dont know until you join). It is so busy, and their hours are horrible so we resorted to trying to go at lunch time. When we compared pricing we noticed that they gave one person a really good monthly deal, while the rest paid full price. I let that go since it was close to work and cheap anyway. I found out pretty quickly why it is so cheap! I decided it wasnt for me after about 6 months of giving it a good try, so started searching for a new gym. I let one more billing cycle go through although I wasnt going to use it for that month while I was searching, and doing trials at other gyms. I cancelled my membership via email, and just in case, I cancelled the EFT with my bank (good thing I did, and I would suggest you do the same). This obviously really upset them because I keep getting harassing e-mails (not auto-generated, but personally written e-mails) about cancelling my membership, trying to get updated billing information out of me, etc... they stated that I had to cancel by coming in to the gym M-F during business hours (which I am at work during that time), or by mailing a certified letter. I couldnt understand why that was necessary since they obviously received my cancellation "in writing" via e-mail since they replied several times arguing with me about it. I even told them if I receive one more e-mail I would consider it harassment and it would be reported. They still sent me another e-mail!!! They threatened to charge me with late fees and administration fees, and said they were turning me over to their collections department. They want to make it as difficult as possible to cancel and continue billing you as long as possible, even though they can tell by the records you are not using the gym anymore, and you have cancelled your membership in writing! Its nearly impossible to get your workout in unless you go at lunch, and now we have seen an ad for $4.99 a month membership fees, so getting a workout in will be non-existent with anybody being able to join for $5. They would rather have as many bodies as possible to get their hands on their bank account information, then to try and offer a quality experience for the members they do have. There are no locker rooms, no place to stretch, pee all over the toilet seats...I doubt they have gyms in third world countries, but if any of them do, I am sure it would be a similar experience to what you get here! I would not turn my bank account information over to these shady people, they are very money hungry, and have hardly anything to offer. They will harass you even after you ask them to stop sending you e-mails (personally written harassing e-mails that are signed Nick and Doreen). My new gym is huge, amazing, clean, and open 24 hours... well worth the extra cost!

ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE - This place is so busy there wasnt 1 eliptical or treadmill avaliable. I politelty mentioned to one of the trainers about how busy it was and he said it will slow down soon, give it 30 minutes. I reponded with why am I paying for a membership that i have to wait to use, his response was well you only pay what :12 bucks" go join a gym and pay more if you want to have equipment always avaliable. So, I DID!!! I left to a compeitor and let me tell you what I pay an extra 10 a month and there never busy. All Fitness 19 does is sell thousands of memberships and pack the gym, its always dirty, and the staff are completly rude cause they could care less if they kept my $12 membership. Ad worst part about it, I have been approached over a dozen times in the last month if I want a personal trainer, why cant they get the hint I just want to work out on my own!

- Note: Ive worked out here for about a year - Pros: The staff are very friendly, the hours are decent, the equipment is high quality, the restrooms are clean. Although its a smaller gym, they have all the equipment you need to target any muscle group and complete any cardio workout. - Cons: It can get crowded on occasion, however Ive never had to wait for a treadmill or elliptical. There are other gyms that have better hours of operation. They dont have a locker room and only 2 changing rooms. They occasionally have vendors set up a bench to sell their products (not a big deal but it distracts me from my workout). - Bottom Line: If you like a more personable gym, dont mind it being slightly crowded, and dont work out very early/late, this would be a good gym for you.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Do not get a membership here. I joined under their "commitment free" program. It took them several weeks to even find me in their computer system. They tell you when you enroll that all you need to do to cancel your membership is to stop. They say this just to get you to sign up. Then, 1 month after I signed up they took a $50 annual membership fee. The man who signed me up said the annual fee would not hit me until the next year because I was a new member. Then, it hit. So I stopped going. after about 3 months they charged my account 3 times leaving me with no money to buy food to feed my children. When I tried to call and cancel the man talked to me like I was a child and kept saying that I do not understand anything.

Great place to workout without any hassle. Ive been shopping around for a gym and went to several and was really put off with how pushy they were and how much they were showing off about the newest stuff they had. Went into Fitness 19 and talked to John, he was great. Took the time to show me around, answer my questions and then work on a price that works for me! I was so intimidated in the other gyms. This place was much more relaxed and welcoming. I only need my machines and a trainer and I got a great deal on 4 sessions with a trainer for 99$. My husband just signed up today too. There are no showers or classes but John said they will be starting some classes soon. They do have childcare and good machines and weights.

I didnt take these negative reviews about fraud seriously until i experienced it. After my brother canceled his membership they charged him for another year membership. When he asked, their reasoning was that the cancelation was still pending and it just happened to be his contacted "charge" month. This was after he had claimed my brother didnt cancel. My brother had froze his account and then it randomly unfroze, the man claiming my brother had picked this date to unfreeze, when my brother recalls never picking a date. That combined with everything is extremely sketchy.
