Great little workout place! PROS: friendly accommodating staff, nice big lockers (only a quarter to rent for residents) and locker rooms, pool is always clean, wet and dry saunas are always hot, nice selection of floating swimming aids available for water fitness exercises on your own or with a class, several lap lanes along with a separate small pool for the little ones, and the hot tub is decent size. Also the dry workout area with weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. is generally less populated than the pool. Oh and coffee in the lobby! Oh! Also Hatha yoga is included with membership! CONS: Lockers seem to be assigned in clusters instead of spreading them out over the entire locker room, this makes for crowding/awkward locker time if you wait to leave at close or run into a family coming or going at the same time you are trying to access your stuff in a locker in the same corner (prob just a womens locker room issue.) You have to keep a close eye on the schedule, and ask about swim practice, because the paper schedule says lap swim, but in reality swim team is there taking up all lap lanes except one, granted for only two hours, but if you can avoid going during that time, I would. Sometimes by the evening the showers are kinda hairy and gross. I know they have to clean after they close and probably dont want to clean them, just to have to do it again, but the showers get max use at closing time(sometimes you have to wait) and it would be nice that they were clean prior to use, we do pay for our membership, which should include a clean shower stall. Also, I started going because my PT suggested warming up my knee in a hot tub and sometimes its too crowded and people (sometimes with their children) just park it in there for an hour plus, if its full, get your 15 min and let others have a turn please, they may need it to help them walk! Overall, for the money (31 for resident adult, unlimited one month pass), well worth it if you enjoy the majority of your workout in the water, and are good at keeping up with the swim teams schedules. If you get the swing of the schedule you can enjoy a swim with just a handful of people in the pool, and half of them are seniors just chilling in the hot tubs and saunas.

This is a nice spot to take the kiddos swimming. Highlights: 1. Newly (within the past five years) remodeled childrens pool. 2. For summer: extensive outdoor splash pad, and a regular play/climbing area as well. Plentiful chairs and picnic area. 3. Indoor lap lanes 4. Decent-sized free swimming area 5. Diving board 6. Hot tub 7. Inexpensive swimming lessons for Westminster/Hyland Hills residents from infancy through adulthood. My one complaint as a parent of a young child in swimming lessons on weeknights is that the water aerobics class completely dominates the pool when its in-session with their ridiculous sound system volume. Weve complained to the swimming supervisor that our child is unable to hear (he actually had to yell his introduction over the music) however someone has continued to have to ask them to turn down the volume at every subsequent lesson. Its very inconsiderate to other patrons who are ALSO paying for classes that one class dominates the entire pool with their sound system.

Best gym Ive belonged to yet. The staff is helpful and friendly. Its never that busy. There is a weight room ,cardio room, raquetball room, swimming pool and play area outside. I like the steamroom and sauna after working out. I never have to wait in line for machines. The usual misbehavior as any gym occurs (people dont wipe down a machine when they are done), but its not for lack of cleaning fluid and paper towels
