UPDATE: Last year I wrote a wonderful review on google for CARSTAR noting their professionalism, timely manner in getting my car fixed, and being overall on top of the ball. Unfortunately, I am writing this review as an UPDATE as I had to bring my car back in, literally one year to the date, to have them fix a paint job on my bumper that they messed up. When we came in I was never given an explanation as to why the paint started peeling nor was given an apology for being inconvenienced. Then when I asked to be given a replacement car- like a rental (b/c thats most professional) I was told that I would be given a loaner car that "isnt the best". Literally their words. They gave me a 00 Saturn that has a broken gas needle and did not even fill the gas tank all the way up like they claimed they did and stressed to me about returning full. When we finally came back to pick up my car, Roy, one of the possible managers there was fully unable to take any accountability (a basic adult skill) for their wrongdoing and told us that they will be doing away with the loaner car options only b/c customers have abused them and they know the cars are no good now due to customers. Actually, could it also be that youre loaning 17 to 20-year-old discontinued cars out to customers? He also had the nerve to say, "Well was the car not for free and the work done on your car?" Well, Roy- newsflash, when you mess up, of course it will be free. Its in your warranty. The only proper customer service that was given was by Brittanee Hawthorne, whom Roy blamed for giving me the loaner car as he said it was the "font desk persons idea to give that to you." In reality- Roy pushed for that car the day I was there to drop my car off. CARSTAR of Northglenn please do better. For the last year I was recommending people to you. That sadly wont be happening any longer and I hope I never have to deal with that type of unprofessionalism from this location again- especially if I have to come back for shoddy work again. ALSO Brittanee Hawthorne who gave a 5 star rating on here is the front desk person at the shop so you can take that review with a grain of salt. She is honestly a very, very sweet woman, I am sure just trying to make the place look nice- but it is not honest.

I made an appointment. I called 20 minutes before the appointment to verify that they had received paperwork from my insurance, and they confirmed all of this. Then I show up and the two receptionists are incredibly rude and claim I spoke to no one. I show them my call log and read out the number, the receptionist confirms that is their number but still insists I spoke to no one. I finally hit the call button to see if their phones would ring, they do. But again both receptionists now are more concerned with making me feel stupid as though I imagined the whole thing, both making the app and confirming it. Their concern should have been getting me a new appointment and apologizing for their lack of, what I assume, the easiest of receptionist duties, but instead they continued to insult me as though I was crazy. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere! Oh and Im pretty sure they write their own reviews; that Brittanee chick works there, so theres that. Along with the fact they have ZERO customer service skills.

ZERO STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Promises Promises. I had my car estimated 4 weeks ago for a small dent and a little damage to my wheel. They told me that it would probably only take 3 days to fix. They were scheduling 3 weeks out. Took it in exactly when they scheduled me and at that time I filled out a paper that said they would contact me daily about my car. Well monday,tuesday, wednesday, all went by with out a single call. I called on Thursday and was told it would be ready on Friday. Called Friday and now it wont be ready till Tuesday. But they promise it will be ready FOR SURE. Called Tuesday let them know I will be there at 12:30 to pick up my car and guess what it is not ready they are waiting on the wheel to get there from Commerce City... like that is what 15 min away. How about picking the wheel up yourself to please a customer. I will never recommend this place and I wish I would of read the complaints before choosing them. Nobody takes ownership for there lack of service.

Looks like I had the same issue as everyone else here. I took my truck in for an estimate, scheduled the appointment to get it fixed in the "1 day" that they said it would take. At the end of the 1 day, I called to make sure it was done before going to pick it up. Once they found the file they told me that it had not been started because they did not have all of the parts. I called them again the next day, again, they could not find my file. They finally said they would have it done by the end of the second day. I spoke with the owner when I picked it up and voiced my frustration over the lack of customer service. He told me that they had forgotten to order the parts 3 weeks ago when they did the estimate. He agreed that they should have called me at least 3 times to update me. I would not recommend this shop and will be contacting my insurance to see if they really want to refer people to a shop with this kind of reputation.

i was rear ended on may 26th 2017,i needed a repair with a good shop,my freiends referred meto car star in northglenn along with some elk members down the street from the shop.i made an appointment,took it in Don Mcgoveran was the adjuster that wrote up the estimate,he looked at all the damage especially all the joints on my truck on the back part.He was real professional.I asked him if he knew Dave Albertson & he said yes he did,Dave worked there a long time ago & i told don that i had him look at it,well Don saw everything tha Dave pointed out.truck was repaired in three and a half datys.I want to thank everybody that was in volved in repairing my truck!!!!!!!! WHEN I PICKED IT UP IT LOOKED LIKE A SHOW TRUCKiii WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BODY SHOP TO EVERYONE!!!!! THANK YOU

First, I took my car in to be repaired/painted. I asked how much it would cost me out of pocket to have my bumper painted. I was told I would get a call that afternoon with estimate. ( this was on a Monday) Thursday I got a call stating my car was done. Never a phone call for estimate on bumper. When I asked the owner Steve why no call he says "it would of cost 500.00" . That was my decision to make if I wanted to pay that or not. NOT HIS. Second, the paint job was very poor. He lied to me about alot of the things that he was going to do, BUT DIDNT do. Then to top it off they didnt even clean up the mess that was left in my car. Note: I cleaned my car the night before I took it there.
