Caliber was referred to me by an exotic car dealership in the Denver area - a testament in and of itself. I called Caliber to speak to them about my Lexus LX 570 as I wanted to get some paint chips repaired on the hood and door of my vehicle. I also spoke to them about doing some paintless dent repair (PDR) on a door ding and getting a clear bra put on as well. I worked with Jake, the shop manager, throughout the process. He and I worked out a deal where all of the work I needed would be done at their shop and returned to me within a day and a half. When the clear bra vendor Caliber works with looked at my vehicle, he realized that it had been re-sprayed (it was a used vehicle) and the clear bra would not stick to the paint effectively. Ultimately, he had to pass on the job as it would not turn out well and could fail in a short-period of time. Jake called me with all of the details in a timely fashion. Since the clear bra could not be done, Jake said he would still do the touch up work and the PDR and return the vehicle. Unfortunately, the dent could not be repaired due to the location of the dent. Caliber could have drilled in to the door but that would not have been an optimal repair and Jake was very upfront about that and stated they do not do that type of work. Jake took time out of his busy schedule to walk me through the entire situation as well as touch up the paint chips. Not only that, but he ran the vehicle through the detail shop and had it washed and vacuumed - nothing I had requested or expected - especially for work that was never performed, to no fault of their own. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I noticed a scratch (that Caliber did not do) and Jake came outside to take a look. While out there, he inspected my ENTIRE vehicle and pointed out multiple areas where the vehicle had been re-sprayed or where parts potentially had been replaced - I had not noticed any of it, but he picked up with his trained eye. As you can imagine, I was in shock as I had just purchased the vehicle used from a dealer in town. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, I had a thorough multi-point inspection done by an independent dealer and none of what Jake found was brought to my attention by the dealer. While the shop was unable to do all of the work we initially priced out and make any money on the transaction, Jake still went above and beyond my expectations to deliver superior customer service. He was open, honest and very trustworthy - something that is EXTREMELY rare in the car business. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Jake and Caliber for any of your auto body repair needs.

I dont like to leave bad reviews but my experience with Caliber was truly awful. Everything started out fine, convienenty located a few miles from our house, friendly staff. We were told the car was ready for pickup and that the office would be open until 6:30. I arrived at Caliber around 6:10 and the office appeared to be open (front garage was open). By the time I had cleaned out and inspected the rental (no more than a few minutes) the garage had been closed and doors locked. My "repaired" car was sitting in the front lot so I decided to take a look. Not only were there still problems with the car but they had left my car in the lot UNLOCKED. I stood outside going in and out of my car for about 20 minutes while waiting for my boyfriend to arrive for a second opinion. Anyone could have walked by and gotten into my car and Caliber wouldnt have done anything! While waiting for my boyfriend I called Caliber and explained my situation to the after hours answering service. I assumed I would be contacted by a manager or the colision analyst we had been working with but nothing until they called to claim the second round of "repairs" were done. There were still dings and scratches and they had used the wrong color paint and not done a very good job masking so even if the correct paint were used it would not have looked good. At this point I was ready to take my car somewhere else. After explaining our concerns with the repairs to the manager we decide to give Caliber one more chance. A few days later we picked up the car. There were still some minor issues with the paint job but we were told that was the best they could do. I had made peace with the situation until the next day when I went to grab my ice scrapper from the back seat and found a razor blade left behind from the repair. This was most concerning since I had left the car seat in the car during repairs so it was obvious that kids rode in the car and Caliber was careless enough to leave a razor where a kid could get to it.

the old lady that tried to handle my repair estimate was rude and had no idea what she was doing and must be old and senile or just to stupid to comprehend speech. When i tried to explain ANYTHING to her she would get a confused look on her face. The other persons insurance said it was both our fault for the accident so of course they said they would only pay half, well my insurance company said the other party was 100% at fault and will pay for all the repairs and then just fight it out with the other insurance company. this lady couldnt comprehend that my insurance was going to pay for it all because she kept saying "there only going to pay for half so we cant give you your car back until its all paid for". im like really lady! yeah first of all thats standard at all shops not to release a car without payment and second my insurance is paying for it all! she was also supposed to email me a release form for permission to start work on the car and she couldnt even get that right! They also rip you off . they gave me an estimate 200 times higher than all the other places i started looking at after i decided they do not deserve my money or business. im glad i decided to go to a different shop and im even more happy they wont get the 4 grand its going to cost to fix my car! you guys really suck!

I had them repair my 4runner because my insurance company had them on their list. . After rejecting the work twice, I finally was told I had to give them the rest of the money and accept the car otherwise they would tell my insurance company the work was done and I did not pick it up, thus I would have to pay for rental cars. The fender did not fit, and they said the part was no longer available as OEM, and the insurance adjustor rejected using OEM parts, so I was stuck with aftermarket. I called Toyota and they had 50+ in stock, including one local. I called the insurance adjustor and he said they never requested another part, as they should have done a dry fit and sent him photos of the improper fit before painting the part. The front headlight turnsignal fell out after 1 mile of driving because they broke the clips, and the gap around it was poor to start. They did not install the battery terminals tight, just pushed them on by hand, so the car would not start a day after I picked it up. The insurance company is now agreeing to pay for another bodyshop to start from scratch and redo all the work because they agree the work was done that poorly. I was not going to say anything, but they specifically sent a link via email to review them online, so I clicked the link, and here I am.
