My wife took her van here after we had the rear rotors and pads replaced. Her calipers were hanging up causing extreme heat and smoking. They had the car for an hour then called to tell my wife that the rotors AND the pads were not the correct ones and we were going to have to pay for a complete brake job including new calipers again rotors and pads. I had thankfully kept the old rotors and the box of the pads we had bought from an unnamed autoparts store. I hurried home because my wife was freaking out from what they said. I grabbed the box and one of the old rotors and paid them a visit (when I bought the rotors, I measured to ensure that they were correct). I had set these items on the ground when I arrived so the Manager did not see them and asked what the problem was. He again told me they were wrong and had already shown me their work-up estimate (complete brake redo). I then told him my doubts, surprised him by showing him the old rotor and the box the pads came in. He crossed referenced the part number, found they were correct, we walked out on the floor and compared the rotors and he said "HUH", I guess something else is wrong and stated he couldnt fix it today and we scheduled a date to come back. I went home to grab my wife so we could take the car home, I walked towards the front door and I was met by i guess the guy who worked on it before I went inside. He said " It makes no difference to me, but its a waste of my time for me to work on this without OEM parts". I stated that they put on the same parts from the same auto parts store I bought them from and he laughed and said that if "I wanted to go cheap, its a waste of his time". I then stated I wanted to talk to a manager because I was suggested by him what parts to get (auto parts, not OEM), and I am the one who is going to make the decision on who was going to fix it, I am the customer. I went to the manager, told him what happened and he shrugged it off until I told him that If one of my employees talked to a customer the way he did me, I would fire him in a minute. He got aggressive, got in my face and started to push me by flexing his chest up telling me " I think you and I are going to have a problem now". He told me to leave because I was in the shop unsupervised, I stated I was invited.. I left. How dare this company try to overcharge me for things that are not the problem then get defensive when they got caught. DO NOT GO HERE, I am filing an official complaint. Shame too, I have been a customer there for years.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE - 2/6/17 - Noticed a nail in the tire of our jeep while gassing it up. Drove over a mile to the Firestone that was still open, on Melody Drive in Thornton, CO. Guy at the counter said it would cost $20 to pull the nail and plug the tire. No problem. I pulled the jeep into the garage, with him guiding me. I went into the waiting room, 5 mins later the guy at the counter walked up to me and said "you need to buy a new tire". I jokingly said "yeah right, its a nail in the tire". He took me into the garage and said "First, we cant plug this, because its less than 2 fingers away from the sidewall (still dont know if that part is true btw) AND theres this" - He showed me an almost 6 inch gaping hole in the sidewall of my tire, that was NOT there when I drove it in to the garage, or when I drove the jeep more than a mile to get to the Firestone. Not once did he take responsibility for it, nor did he offer to make it right in any way, since it was obviously his tech that destroyed my tire. Even if it was accidental, which Im not sure after reading the other reviews, they need to take responsibility for their actions. In addition to that, I called Firestone customer service the moment I got back home (riding on a donut btw), they opened a complaint file for me and told me the manager of this location would get back to me within 24 hours. Its currently 2/8/17, more than 40 hours since I was told the manager would get in contact with me, and still nothing. The attached pictures are the nail in the tire, which he said they couldnt remove and plug, AND 2 pics of the damage they did to my tire. I have since purchased 2 new tires, totaling over $125 from another retailer, and Firestone has done NOTHING to accept responsibility or make this situation right. Oh yeah, and he charged me $10 to put the donut on my jeep, after they destroyed my tire. This place is awful and I warn everyone to stay away. Not sure how/why they stay in business, but if this is the way customers are treated every day at this location, I hope they are closed down soon. I tried to give them 0 stars, however I couldnt post my review without giving them at least one.

I went in for a squeaking noise that was not my brakes, it was a noise that would make when you would turn to the right or hit bumps. The guy who rode with me I agreed that it was a squeaking noise when you turn to the right and told me I needed new rotors and new brakes. I had just previously 4 weeks prior had my brakes done. They went ahead and did the brakes and rotors and a tune-up and it cost me $408. When I went to get my vehicle they told me they had not test drove it yet. After they test drove it, I see them under the car with a hammer. He comes up to me and tells me that theres also a loose bolt that is stripped out and it would be 7 to 8 hours worth of work and to fix the bolt would cost about $700 bc everything had to be taken apart. I told him that must have been the noise that I heard since I had just recently had my brakes done. He then proceeded to tell me that he heard two squeaking noises, although he did not mention that at the time of test drive the first time, when I went with him. He then comes back an hour later to tell me that everything was done, he did not cut any corners and fixed me up free of charge. I am real curious how 7 to 8 hour job was done in an hour. I feel like that I was hustled and taken advantage of. After I was upset and said I couldnt afford it and was going on an 18hr trip back to Texas, all of a sudden he could do it for free and took about an hour to fix? I mean, whats really going on? Was my breaks really fine but he wanted more money out of me? Was he screwing something else up when he was under it with a hammer, trying to hustle me? I originally thought they were helping me out until I spoke to others about what happened and was informed they did me wrong. Im highly upset over this issue.
