(Insert laugh here) is everyone ready for this??? Are you sure?. I presume you are because your reading this. OK. Well lets start off from the very beginning. A very good place to start... But I will not be doing this in song form. I bought a new used car. my brother, an actual mechanic checked this beauty out. It was one hell of a deal! Nothing was wrong with this majestic, slightly hail struck steed, it was perfect mechanically. I Drove it relatively far to get it home. Parked the car in my spotless garage. Left it there for 4 DAYS whilst getting this new car registered and plated. Once everything is in my possession legally. I thought it would be a great idea to get all the fluids changed due to the fact that I didnt necessarily know when the last time this car was flushed. So we pulled pretty Angel Cakes out of the spotless garage and drive it a block to the wave. (Note: we have taken several of our cars to this place for basic oil changes and left with very little to complain about) an hour later and 300 dollars less in our bank accounts. We pull said car back into the ( I will say this again... SPOTLESS) garage. Well the next day I have to go to the store. I think to myself "hell, why not take my new car to the store." So I pull my car out and... guess what?... That spotless garage... had a puddle of oil! YES you are reading correctly a (insert cuss word) PUDDLE!. I take it right over to the wave. And BoB, supposedly manager there looks over the car after I explained the situation. He comes back to me says (in your best red neck voice) " whelp, it was nothing we did, its a oil gasket leak. With roughly about 400 dollars and an hour and a half of labor, we can get that fixed" Yes you are reading correctly. They ( F-bomb add past tense to that) my car, and didnt want to fix it. So I leave. Im fuming! and called my brother explained EVERYTHING. He said yes they probably were the ones to mess up your car and for that price to fix it they will deny it was there mistake... Oh hell no!. So I call back, speak to one managers who puts me back it touch with likable old BOB. So I explain again that they caused this and he just said "and"... yes, my dear ones he just said "and"... I replied "my brother was right! Enjoy my review" I hung up (shaking fists in the air yelling in the middle of the king soopers parking lot "WHY!!!!) Obviously this is a nightmare. And I hope. Nay I pray that people read this tragedy and think twice before taking their electronic babies to this place. Because after this. After ALL this. I obviously am never going back to the wave. They dont make right on there mistakes. Period!. But Im going to save as many people as I can!. Four-hundred people to be exact. The price I will pay in my area to fix the mistake. No sir, I cant take it to my brother. He is way out in the mountains.... Also another nail in this coffin. To get it plated I had to get an emissions test. That PASSED the day before. If the oil gasket pan had a leak I would have failed a a day prior to taking it to this shop! BOOM. ***Drops mic If I made you think twice about this place. I have written this review correctly.

Unless you expect to spend $35+ on the Hurricane Wash, dont expect more than a dusting of your dash and vacuuming of only where your feet sit on the floor. I got the silver ($20), the girl told me they would vacuum, wipe everything down and put it through the wash. I got in the car when they were done and the floor hadnt even been fully vacuumed, there were crumbs on my seat (that werent even there before), they hadnt vacuumed the seats at all, windows not fully wiped.... seriously looked like nothing had been done except the outside. So I went back, manager told me the Hurricane ($35) is the one where they clean the interior more than a dusting and I told the guy Ive had more done for $15 at the place by my house...he just said they do 700 cars a day and have been in business for 30 years so I pointed out all the bad reviews. He got aggravated and said theyd re-do and wipe down the inside of my doors. I think its pretty pricey to pay $20 and not even get my dash wiped with a wet cloth. I suggest communicating exactly what people are going to get to them when they chose a service. Apparently a lot of people come back pissed off. I wont be returning and just continue to go to the wash close to my home where for $15 I get the floor, seat vacuumed and the interior wiped down and it takes as much time as it took here. I was close to this one today and so decided to stop. Best to go with what you know I guess. The people doing the work were very nice though so its not in them, just a bad pricing schedule.

I have been to the wave time and time again, for the gold wash. Decided to give them a try for an oil change because I found a coupon for a free gold wash with oil change. DO NOT DO IT!!!! (their washes have been off and on OK..) but the oil change... WOW...since leaving their parking lot, something has been squeaking...on my way to work today my check engine light came on, then power steering went out, then everything shut down. Called to speak to a manager and before I could even finish telling him what has been going on (SINCE THE OIL CHANGE) he interrupts me and says "that has nothing to do with an oil change, your belt probably snapped." Not having looked at it, or even hearing me out as to everything going on...WILL NEVER EVER EVER be getting anything mechanically done here! I am having someone else check it out shortly...and if it does have something to do with something they did/didnt do right...I am REALLY hoping they make it right! Between my husband and I, my in laws, and both of my sister in laws...we bring them quite a bit of business!

This Place may be able to clean a car but DONT TRUST THEM FOR AN OIL CHANGE!!!! The technician didnt properly replace the rear differential plug and my 4Runner blew gear oil all over I 70. My insurance replaced the differential at a cost of over $2,000 I had to pay a $500 deductable out of pocket. Do you think Ive been compensated? Well...I reported the issue to The General Manager, Dave Paulings, and was assured that they would do the right thing. They fired the responsible technician and immediately started me on a corperate run around. Its been over a year now and my insurance company is still getting the same run around. IF YOU ENJOY BEING LIED TO, AND BECOMING THE VICTIM OF CORPERATE MALFESANCE.....THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. THE WAVE DOES NOT HONOR ITS GUARENTEES. (Please do not mistake my rating of one star as any sort of satisfaction. If the review page offered a "negative stars" category Id have used that [to the max.] Instead it forced me to at least give them the minimum of one star, which is waaaaay more than they diserve)
