This place is beyond terrible! In short, while detailing, Puddle damaged my cars transmission and totally broke GPS/audio system. To repair both cost me about $1,300. Managers were very rude to me to the point that I had to call police! Now, more details: My Subaru was badly damaged in Puddle car wash shop while being detailed. A manger gave the car back to me but did not tell me anything about the damage. I was not able to drive the car since the transmission was not usable ! They told me that thats how the car was when they received it. This was a very obvious and not even an intelligent lie. Then, I talked to one manager and then another - they were trying to get rid of me without dealing with this situation or helping me in any way. It was Saturday night, I needed to drive home to the mountains and there was no help or even an apology from the managers! Eventually, a manager called the owner - Steve who told him that he did not want to deal with the situation because he was fishing. Steve refused to talk to me. The second co-owner, Richard, instructed Marcus, the manager, to tell me that he was not accessible. Another lie!!! I reached total dead end and had to call police. After police arrived, the manager at the very least started to communicating with me instead of simply denying the damage they caused. I called my insurance company and they towed my car to my property and gave me and my friend a ride home. I found out that when Puddle damages the car, the managers simply say that the car was received in this condition. Since no one documents the cars condition when it is received, there is no way to prove that the car was damaged in the shop. Just avoid this big, muddy Puddle of dishonesty. It is difficult for me to believe that a place like this exists in Boulder! Another update a day later: I was so focused on the damaged transmission, that I did not check anything else in the car. I day later, I noticed that Puddles detailing shop also broke my whole audio/navigation system. I took the car to Flatirons Subaru and they examined the GPS/audio system. It was completely dead! It was no choice but to replace it - the cost was $1,197. I dont know how this detailing shop could survive in Boulder damaging cars like that. I guess they keep their prices relatively low (I paid $219 for detailing) and try to process as many cars as possible. They are not careful washing them and damage electronics. When something gets damaged, they reply automatically "this was the original condition of your car". It is very difficult to prove that it was not! Puddle car wash detailing shop is beyond terrible! Save your car by avoiding this place!

I have been a customer of Puddle Car Wash since I moved to Boulder one year ago, but, unfortunately, I will not patronize them again, nor will I recommend them to family and friends. Today, I went to get my car (which is less than one year old) washed and purchased the Hurricane package. Upon hopping into my car to drive away, I noticed a large, 7in. diameter, starburst-shaped crack in my windshield. I parked my car in the businesss back lot and kindly asked to speak to a manager. When I showed the manager the crack, I explained that it had certainly not been there before getting my car washed and that the reason I noticed the crack immediately was because it refracted the light of the sun directly into my eyes in the drivers seat. He explained that he would grab his boss and they would together check the camera footage of my car before it was washed. When the manager and his boss returned to speak to me, they became dismissive, rude, and unwilling to listen. The managers boss explained that there likely was a small crack there before I arrived on the premises, because "all he has in the wash is high pressure water." (Interesting that he did not mention the camera footage.) If his story and explanation were correct, and there was indeed only high-pressure water, how did the crack get so much larger (from barely noticeable to a 7in. diameter starburst crack.)? Before I could even explain this lapse in logic to the manager and his boss, they both began to walk away as I was speaking. Im not an unreasonable person, and I understand that accidents happen. The reason I have rated this review one star is due to the treatment I received from the management and their willingness to lose a customer over providing good service. I would not and will never recommend this business. A quick google search tells me that there are at least four other carwashes in Boulder. I would recommend trying to get a wash elsewhere than receive poor customer service and take the risk of receiving car damage at Puddle Car Wash.

Pathetic I am done with the Puddle. I went there this morning and explained to the host pulling up that my last 2 experiences were awful. These guys hurry through the process and clearly miss a lot on my car each time. So I went through this morning tip the guys $5 went home. I got out only to discover my car is filthy with swirl marks from them drying my car and to boot I paid an extra $1 per floor matt and they were filthy like they just rinsed it and called it good. I went back to complain to the host and he was great to deal with and instantly could not believe the work his guys did. He got on it and had my cat ran through again, I get home and low and behold my car is still filthy. It is sad they are the only full service in town because they sure put out lousy work. I called in to speak to a manger and a guy named Marcos answers and offered me nothing to retain my business. Everyone must know STEVE MILLER is the owner and he needs to know his crew puts out horrible work. Slow it down take off your sunglasses on a cloudy day and pay attention to detail guys. Well STEVE MILLER if this is how you put out work I assure you will never earn my business ever again! POOR customer service period!

My car came back with a huge tear in the back window tinting, and my window was very scratched up. Management insisted over and over that I damage my own window and never noticed it until just then. After reviewing security footage in private, they then admitted it wasnt there when I drove in, but said I must have had a small tear that was made more visible by their "very gentle" wiping with a cloth. They claimed this damage was not their fault at all and there was nothing they could do to compensate me for the damage they caused. This tear was several inches, and there is no way the scratching could have been done with a light wash cloth. I suspect someone rammed a vacuum cleaner into the back window. Oh, and my car was still very dirty inside and out and had streaks on all the windows despite paying $20+ for a car wash. I get better results from the cheapest gas station car wash. Avoid this place, yo.

I went to Puddle for interior detailing, and never before have I received such poor service for the money. The carpet and leather cleaning was ok (not great), and everything else was incredibly disappointing. It was as if they just took a towel and wiped down all of the surfaces with a greasy substance. There was almost no attention paid to the small cracks, crevices, and smaller compartments -- they still have the same crumbs and grime as before! There was not one other customer when I dropped off and picked up (due to snow storm, or maybe everyone else in town already knows about their shoddy work!!?) so they had the whole three hours to concentrate on just my car. And the worst part - I only quickly glanced in my car before paying, and I gave a generous tip! I will never go back for detailing or a car wash.
