Recently 1/5/2010 our storage room was robbed, the lock was broken and it was a nightmare moving between homes. we moved our stuff to this location until the new home was done, and when we moved in the manager was the only person that saw us, he new what we were bringing in, it was and has to be an inside job because of all the questionable acts by the staff. that night that the robbery apparantly happened, our lock was the only one open and all our stuff was taken. Also the cameras malfunctioned that night, Come on how inside can the job get, protect your investment and go to another location, Westies or any other site that does not have fake people who are looking for a quick fix. there are roomers of this site, and a couple others this owner has of things missing, no cameras, and people watching that have no reason for being there. the other postings and reviews on this are a Gimmick, these are the owner and his workers putting fake reviews to drive the business in and see what else they can rob from you. watch out you were warned, they are sneaky sneaky and their culture and where they come from is alone the answer , whatever they took from us is probably in the owners home now, Tom , he knows who we are and Tom better watch out, he was down on his luck so he decided to rob us!! We think the Owner and the manager were involved. avoid this place and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!! T

This self storage place has three locations and my official paperwork on my unit had the wrong address for my unit. When I got to my unit I found out the unit I was given was already assigned to someone else so I Was reassigned to a new unit. That whole process took about an hour and $100 dollars for the movers I was paying to transport my things. After I moved out they didnt close my account so I stayed on auto pay for the next month and my credit card was billed for the unit I had closed. Two days after I called and they credited my account, I received a late notice that I had not paid for the month and would be charged a late fee. The woman gave a lot of sass but the guy was always apologetic and helpful when I called with my complaints. Overall, it doesnt matter how nice they were when I had complaints since there were too many instances of disorganization. This company took up too much of my time.

Hello I am the Manager of Danbury Self Storage and I want the general public to know that the review by "Joe" is a complete fabrication. "Joe" never was a customer and he is in fact a competitor of ours. The owner is never here so it is weird "Joe" would even mention him and I assure you, though no one is perfect, you do get a square deal here at Danbury Self Storage and nothing even close to what "JOE" says ever happened here. Please stop by our Office and we can show you our online evidence that the posting by Joe is a complete fabrication.

They were really professional and helpful. One of the guys in the office even helped me unload some of the heavier stuff because I hurt myself. I kept my things there for 5 months and everything came out exactly as I put it in. I didnt even have to rewash clothing - no weird smells or anything. Then my brother needed a place and he was able to do a short term rental for cheap. Very accomodating.

I move about so have stored at many places and this place is run more professonally than any other place I have stored at previously. The managers are very straight people and very accomodating. My wife speaks spanish so it was nice because they also speak spanish.

Angelica and Mr Silva are an excellent and personable team! I fell behind in my rent ( 3-4 months) they were very patient/generous and worked with me to get caught up. I am very happy I chose Danbury Self Storage for my storage needs! Thanks guys!

For many years I rented a storage with Angelica and Douglas.I never had to worry about anything..They were very helpful, the place were very clean, the rates affordable .It was an excellent place to leave my belongs.High recommend.Thanks

Very nice facility. Very professional. Our things were stored for over a year and were dry, mold free, and clean. They charged us a good price and gave us a break because of staying a year. I recommend booking ahead.

They have very convenient locations with U-Haul and affordable rates. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the unit was a perfect size and very clean... I definitely recommend!
