After signing up online for the East Haven location because it is near where I worked, I went to google for directions to coordinate with my iPhone for easy travel. This 1 review really scared me to the point that I dreaded meeting this owner. When I walked inside I was greeted by a woman who identified herself as the owner and was nothing short of an angel. She had me processed and my picture taken in under 3 minutes. I received a free t-shirt, drink from the cooler and bronze to tan. The woman was genuinely nice. Her small dog hangs out in her office where she is most of the morning doing paperwork. She stays to herself and if anything is needed will always drop everything to be of assistance with a smile on her face. I felt the need to write this because someone like her deserves the business and new clients. If I had done a google directional search first then I would have never dreamed of coming to this gym. Now that I joined here, I plan on staying. Its a shame that these posts are not moderated because the owner is female, the clients are great, and Im going to chaulk that negative review up to a disgruntled former employee or someone who has the wrong gym. 5 stars all the way here folks.

Gym is extremely clean,with friendly staff. Short drive from my house. Equipment is state of the art. Flat panel TVs all over/ with options to plug in for sound and enjoyment of your favorite shows. But best of all I like the way I feel beaming with confidence and full of energy knowing I put in a good week of hard work outs :) The price is afordable and with my black card I am able to bring a quest... Thanks Planet Fitness ;)

Manager should be fired. He doesnt seem to have the time of day for anyone, and honestly its probably better that way considering he acts very hostile towards everyone that comes his way. Also the staff there are not consciences of customers and waste others times by either making personal phone calls or just not doing there job whatsoever. Long story short, WORST GYM I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

I think its amazing. ..wow it just make you crave for motivation the trainers there are very kind and patient and the people from the front desk they are so welcoming as soon as you get there and you see what you can accomplish you will start Im not stop until you reach your goal and even then stay motivated in Planet Fitness

Excellent equipment/well taken care of/excellent personal. The only thing TV #3 second floor still down, about 5 weeks. Please fix it, or hire people that know how to turn on the TVs. How much is the part, have Gerry contact me ,I will pay out of pocket. I would haven 5 stars, Little things like this BS.

Facilities are great and clean and I love the personal and their excitement to help you succeed and reach yours goals. The Equipment I Need Is available and good conditions. Everything for the good. I live in Meriden but I decided to drive to this one. Recommended 100%.

Great gym, big variety of machines and weights, clean and well maintained, they open early and stay open late, theres a bank of TVs you can watch while on the cardio equipment--and you cant beat the price! The only thing I dont like is their TV programming.

All the employees are pretty cool now as of 4/12/14. Theres always that one machine thats not working though, and the wifi is a bit bipolar. Good gym though.

Wow they have a squat rack, bench press, and leg press like normal gyms. Awesome i wish all planet fitness had this equipment.

This is a horrible gym. Many of the employees are rude. The wi-fi is spotty at best. Avoid if you have a choice.
