I used to love Modern Tire because I thought their service was the best around, especially after I realized that the previous repair shop that Id bring my car to in the area wasnt finishing the repair work that they said theyd do. In the last few months, though, Modern Tire started to take advantage of my trust, loyalty, and general unfamiliarity with cars. First, they were asked to repair something on my drivers side (I wont say what as Im trying to remain somewhat anonymous), with the total bill being several hundred dollars. I was told that it would cost this much because something else needed to be completely replaced. I had no reason to question this. But later, when I needed additional work done (I wont say what as Im trying to remain anonymous), they fixed the problem, but then a second problem popped up a couple days later after I got my car back. That second problem wasnt discovered or fixed when they addressed the first problem. They told me that the second problem would cost around $1,000 to fix. I got suspicious and went somewhere else for another opinion. Not only did the new mechanic not concur with Modern Tires assessment, but when I brought the car back to Modern Tire, they no longer stuck to their original diagnosis of the second problem and instead identified another solution that would cost significantly less. Shady and suspicious. Im deeply disappointed in the inability to trust Modern Tire. Who has time to always get a second (or third) opinion?

I have nothing but things to say about my experience here. One morning on my way to work, I had put oil in my car and halfway there realized I had forgotten to put the cap back on. I stopped in to ask if they sold them or knew of a nearby place that does and they didnt have any on hand but one of the employees gave me his from his personal car! Not only did they give me the cap free of charge when I was fully prepared to pay, they also gave my car a quick check to be sure it was safe to drive. Extremely kind, and what drove me to take my car there when I began to have engine problems. At that visit, they got me in earlier than expected which worked out best for my personal schedule. They also quoted me at one price, but where able to find cheaper parts at a full $200 cheaper. Excellent service, I cannot thank them enough. Timely, polite, helpful, and fair prices. I will be returning the next time my car needs any sort of work. Thank you!!

Horrible service! I called on a Monday to talk to someone about doing an alignment with custom specs for my car which is used for autocross and the guy on the phone, Brian I think his name is didnt seem like he wanted my business (he assumed because my car is a little lower than stock that it wouldnt be possible when anyone who knows anything about cars knows that this is wrong). He made me an appointment for 9am the next Saturday and when I got there was asked to leave my car all day! He didnt even come outside to look at the car, he was too busy with other things. Now I lost 6 days I could have been using to find a place that will actually give me a straight answer. What is the point of making an appointment when you are going to ask me to leave my car all day?!?!?! AVOID this place because they honestly do not care about their potential customers.

I have been bringing my car to Modern Tire of Farmington for many years. Modern Tire of Farmington is always my go to place for any and all of my car needs. The service has always been impeccable and Brendan is always extremely professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating! When dealing with Brendan and the team at this location, I always feel confident that my car is in good hands and there is never a concern that I am being taken advantage of. I recommend Modern Tire of Farmington to everyone I know, I cant imagine getting better service anywhere else.

Wow! Errible experience. I scheduled an appointement for having my tires changed, confirmed the appointment in the morning of the service. I went to drop off the car and the manager Bryan told me that i had to wait 1 and a half to at least 2 hours beyond my scheduled time, so they could start working on my car, just as if it was nothing. Amazing on how these people are still in business. Dont count on getting anything done on the scheduled time with them. I will NEVER consider them even ith they were the last tire and car shop in Connecticut.

I have used Modern Tire for the past 3 years to have all sort of work done on my vehicle including purchasing tires and the manager Bryan and his staff have given me nothing but exceptional customer service. I have refereed them to other co-workers who have had the same experience. Bryan is knowledgeable and courteous, and this is the one place I dont feel as if I am being taken advantage of, in fact I prefer coming here then going to the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. I highly recommend this location for all your car service needs.

Im was new to the area about a year ago and started going to the location. The manager was very nice and eager to help me. After doing business with them for a little while, Ive decided that its the best place Ive ever had my car worked on. Jesus, the store manager is so personable. He always remembers me and always explains everything my car needs. Never have I been pressured to do anything. Every service has always been done correctly. Its so nice to know places like this still exist. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, personnel. I overhead "Team Leader" Bryan speak to a number of customers. He was super calm, concise, helpful, exactly what you want. Greg, the technician that did my tires, was extremely conscientious, diligent, and obviously took great pride in his work. Overall the staff there seem to get along really well, there was no tension, everyone seemed in very good spirits. It felt like a great environment for the staff and I think that reflects in the quality of service they provide.

Ive been taking my car to Modern Tire in Farmington for the past year. Brendan and Bryan are one of the best teams Ive seen from a service company. I have full trust in tossing my keys to them and knowing I dont have to worry about a thing. Knowledgeable, integrity and composure would be the words I use to describe Brendan And Bryan. If all Modern Tire locations replicate how they approach consumers, I would be very pleased as an owner.

He offered us excellent customer service when looking for tires, got us the best price and now we are new customers of Modern Tire because of him. I have taken my family cars here for over a decade. This week I got an oil change and was given a $1,200 estimate for to repair the air compressor. Today I was given a quote for $350 for the same job but when the car was on the lift it was discovered that the compressor was fine. The one star is for the nice people who used to work at Modern Tire. I dont know if they were honest, but they were nice.
