I recently went in to get my license renewed. There was barely any wait, which was great, and the storefront was clean, faced, and neat. The first person to attend to what I was there for was pleasant, and courteous, and eager to assist me. After paying the $3.00 fee that AAA charges for DMV services, I was told to wait while other customers whod been there before I arrived were seen. Again, there was barely any wait, as the small group of folks who were there were seen fairly quickly. As soon as my name was called, I approached the counter, confirmed, and verified my information, and my reason for visiting. At this point, a different employee that had been assigned to assist me proceeded to inform me that because my license was expired, and that because I was also doing a name change, that the whole thing was a "hot mess" and made a big to-do about it. I can understand making and building a rapport with a customer, but rather vocally attempting to shame them in front of the rest of staff as well as other customers isnt necessarily the way to go about it. There is an ATM on the premises which is useful, as I had forgotten to bring cash with me, and saved me a trip outside the store. Getting my license printed after I took my photo was also fairly quick, and the information on it was correct. I would utilize the DMV services offered at the local office again.

My experiences with few individuals in the past was very positive, than with the overall satisfaction at this center - Manchester, CT. Thats why I visit the center once / twice in an yr. Today, 4/23, I went to Manchester, CT office and waited for an hour to speak to an insurance agent on auto policy. I thought of instead of waiting more I can call the AAA Toll Free and Book an appointment to meet with an Agent. I called their 1800# and after speaking for about ~5 minutes, they transferred the call to one more office. This office said that they can not schedule an appointments and informed that only Manchester,CT office can schedule the appointments and transferred my call to Manchester, CT office. I was there in the lobby watching to see if some one at the office it picks it up. But it was ringing and ringing and no one cared to attend the call. If you are looking for good customer service, in the digital and busy world, please look for other options.

Left work early, drove 30 min, waited in a 7 person line for 30 min before I was "registered" in the system as waiting. I was then was left in the waiting area for almost another 30 minutes before an employee from another department noticed me as she was leaving to go home for the night. I was the only one left in the building beside a the staff closing up. Apparently I was never even registered as waiting in their system. The whole time there were several associates in the department I needed just sitting at their desks. I was finally helped by an associate who was very blunt and informed me I could have just done everything over the phone in a few minutes. Save time and just go to the Avon location, youll be in and out in much less time with much better and friendlier service. Only giving stars because my issue was taken care of in the end.

Since I am both an avid shopper in this plaza and a long-time (since I was 16, I am now 41) AAA member, I gave this AAA a try (I usually use the Farmington Ave. location, since Ive known their representatives for so long). Like lots of AAAs, it was very busy. Since my time was limited, I had to leave before being serviced. But this is AAA, not a fast-food joint, so I dont hold it against them. I took a look at others reviews and factored it into my rating. Regardless of individual office culture, AAA has been helping me and my family since I was a child. Id hate to live without their services because Ive been in "emergency car" situations with people who dont have AAA--I can assure you, after my praise of AAA, they do have it now.

Went there to help my dad to correct his name on his state issued ID. He had all the documents that are listed on the web site. However, even though DMV web site specifically tells you that you can do name corrections at AAA, we were told very loudly by Anthony that it is not something he can do for us. He also (very very loudly) started to explain to me that US passport is not a valid form of ID, especially not to take a loan at a bank. That is just pure nonsense. Your clerks should be trained on terms that they use. And either remove change of name as a service that you offer or actually start doing what the web site says you do. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. I would think that AAA is better than the service we received.

I just went to renew my license and there were so many people inside the building waiting that there was no room to even stand there and they said the wait would be at least an hour or more! I am a AAA member and that was ridiculous! Either have more employees available to help or have a better way to let people know the wait time! I left and its hard to find time when you are working full time to know when the office is not packed to the hills with people!

Got Duped! Went in for a verified license but forgot 1 item. Girl behind the counter says you can get a regular license now and come back anytime for the verified. Neglected to tell me there would be another $35.00 fee. Imagine my surprise when I was asked to pay $35 more on top of the $75 I just paid last week. Had I known I would have to pay again, I would have just waited and paid the $75 only. Great communication! NOT!!!

Not impressed with my agent.. He never gets back to me when I email him, or call.. The prices are decent for car insurance, but my agent is useless... His name is Ommed Ighani.. If you are going to use AAA for car insurance and get him as a rep, ask for someone else.. Id shop around before using AAA, there are good deals out there if your willing to look

They are not very reliable. they gave us 2 Saturday dates in May, (18 & 25) for our son to take the driving portion. I have this in print from the receipt yet they say he was a no-show for the 12th? Now, I find out that there is no class on the 25th and time is of the essence.

waited on hold for over half an hour before hanging up. Called the toll free number and got the service I needed right away. My call to Manchester was placed right after the store opened for the day. Would like to leave zero stars but then it is not possible to post review

Went there for a verified license. I highly suggest you do not. They will find something wrong and issue you a regular one and tell you "no worries you have till January" and charge more! Go to DMV to get verified!

I was getting on the highway when I heard a loud pop, I pulled to the side and found I had a flat tire, called Triple A and they sent someone out and with in a half hour I was back on the road. Thank You Triple A
