Never again! I have gone to this location since they opened ages ago under different owners. I stopped with the last owners because they were careless, but I tried them again a few times under the current owners. Ive never been impressed except for one exorbitantly expensive package following a spill, but I was okay until yesterday. To preface, I prefer supporting local businesses when possible, which is why I left work early yesterday to go here vs. somewhere closer to work and less expensive. I came in at the end of the day and was looking for the low-end detailing package: nothing fancy, just a vacuum, dashboards cleaned, and interior windows cleaned. My car is never in horrible shape, incidentally. Its an average vehicle with an owner with a young child. As I was coming in later, I made it a point to remove from the car 95% of the items in it to speed up the process. When I pulled up, the woman saw me looking at the detail packages and immediately told me I couldnt go with one because of the time. I pointed out that Id left work early to try to be there before they closed (5 PM on a weekday--Seriously, are people supposed to leave work for this type of service?) and just wanted a basic package. “No,” she said. Then I received a lecture on their nine-hour workdays. (Reality check: I often work 12-hour or longer workdays and have done 80- to 100-hour work weeks in my life. Im not impressed that she wants to leave at 5 PM.) Moving on: I hand over my keys and go into the building, where I and other customers are privileged to hear another employee standing in the hallway, his cell phone plugged in to charge, arguing with someone on the line the whole time were waiting for our vehicles. Its nearing the end of the day, and they bring in the tip box, and, wanting to be a good egg, I tip $5 on a $20 package because they are staying a few minutes later to go through the vehicles and its winter. When I walk out the door, I notice multiple pieces of paper (napkins and a couple pieces of trash that were in my trash basket) floating around in the vehicle. As I step in, I take a quick look, step out, and catch the man walking away with the vacuum cleaner. I point out that nothing was cleaned in the cup holder area and the dashboard is still dusty. It also doesnt look like theyve done much on the seats or floors. Instead of walking back, he nods and tells me that the package I purchased doesnt cover any of it. I point out that the woman wouldnt let me go with the detailing, so I bought the $20 package with the expectation of at least the vehicle being wiped down, and he shrugs, turns his back on me, and walks away. To add insult to injury, once the water dries on the vehicle, I can see that the water they used is filthy! All of the doors have been closed and locked at this point, so I drive away, calling a family member who was there earlier in the day with her vehicle. She tells me that shes just finished spending a full hour cleaning their truck at home because it, too, was subjected to a lousy job. I spent 90 minutes today cleaning the interior of my car. The trunk, which contained two small beach umbrellas, still contained the majority of the small amounts of sand in it. All surfaces were untouched, and my sons car seat still contained a couple pieces of potato chips sitting out on the side showing no effort was made to vacuum it. Both my relative and I needed to bring our vehicles to a drive-through car wash today to clean the exteriors. Neither of us will ever return to this place. The customer service, attitudes of the workers, total unprofessionalism, and lousy job makes it a waste of time and money from beginning to end. Heres to hoping that someone new buys it sooner vs. later and replaces the current staff because its convenient going to a local place . . . but only if they know and care about what theyre doing.

First, a bit about me, I am a car guy and fanatical about keeping my vehicle clean (CLK500 convertible, Obsidian black metallic paint). I buy Zaino, get the Girots catalog and notice swirl marks and spider webbing from 10 yards. Even if you dont know or care what any of that means, just know youll stare into infinity when the sun hits your ride after the Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center boys work their magic. Why Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center: 1. Quality. I moved from LA two years ago and tried all of the spots from Bridgeport to Newtown and Shelton before I found Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. They were the clear winner in depth of gloss, interior care, and overall attention to detail. ?2. Cost. Paradoxically, they are in-line or less expensive as other places for a wash/wax. 3. They have always given me a quick turn around when needed. ?5. Eye Candy. People with serious vehicles trust Danny, Alan, and the team. I love collecting my car and checking out the steady stream of flash cars coming through the tunnel. Sometimes they are not able to take you on a day’s notice as their full service detail schedule fills. However, trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Ten years ago I took my car here, and it emerged with a deep scratch on the hood - it had obviously happened before, as the manager whisked me to the side and had his man buff out the scratch. Today, I took my 2016 eGolf back, thinking that it couldnt happen again. When I got home I found a long deep scratch over two feet long on my roof. As you can see in the picture, it clearly shows that whatever scratched it moved perpendicularly to the car in an oscillating motion - EXACTLY like the brushes at the entrance to this car wash do. When I took the car back to show the manager, he immediately denied responsibility, saying that his brushes rotate. When I pointed out that this scratch oscillates in exactly the same direction as his first brushes, he said that they could not have made the scratch. But they did: The scratch WAS NOT THERE earlier this morning, and nothing apart from the car wash could have made those marks.

I began having a credit card billing problem in July. I was being double billed for the monthly car wash service. It should have been an easy problem to fix. Not so. It has been a long time since I have been treated so rudely by a man who claimed to be the Manager for the last seven years. I will take my business elsewhere. . I understand that good help is hard to find. Speaking to a customer in such a rude and angry tone is inexcusable. Last time I was there the workers were complaining that business was slow and the were not making money. I can now guess why.

This was the worst experience ! First the soap blower on one side was jammed so NO soap came out on one side of the car and virtually none on the other. Despite such little soap they somehow managed not to rinse it all off and When we went to get blown dry there was still soap on the car. THEN the guys at the end did a lousy job wiping the car down and there is still loads of dried soap/dirt on the car. THEN when we got out we saw that the front flasher cover was missing and the bulb was hanging out. Unbelievable because this used to be a good car wash.
