Nice, clean, well maintained facility. The biggest plus is having the units inside (the building is a converted factory). The price is good and the staff is excellent. You can talk directly with the owner if needed but the staff is 100% capable. There is a good selection (sizes and types) of units to choose from. Although, because it’s a good facility… some sizes go fast. The Stor-U-Self of Portland has that “Old fashioned” business service that is very rare these days. Sure, you can pay the bill online, which is very handy, but you can also talk to a helpful HUMAN when the business need arises. Easy in and out for any size vehicle and open late (and very early). There are specials available so don’t be afraid to ask. If you don’t need to get to your unit at 3 AM… this is the way to go.

Great prices and exceptional customer service. Im a out of state college student that was in need of a storage facility between semesters and was always satisfied in how staff approached me. There was an instance which I needed to store things after hours. While the staff didnt have to assist my needs, but they ensured I was able to store things. For incoming or current college students who are in need of a storage facility for the summer, I highly recommend Stor-U-Self. Manageable cost, amazing service, and overall great facility. Cant than Mike Elliot and Robert Baran for their exceptional leadership and service.

If anyone is thinking of using Stor U Self in Portland, it is the right choice. The storage units are very clean, the staff are helpful and provide great service. Mike, the Manager, always looks to get the best unit to suit your needs. I have used them 3 different times and each time, I was felt like I was the "only" customer. I had my furniture and households items in there for a year and nothing smells, stained, dusty. Very pleased!

I have been renting a 10x20 storage unit at Stor-U-Self Storage in Portland, Ct for about 1-year and can honestly say the facility is professionally run by Mike Elliott, Manager, and his staff. I have had NO ISSUES with the staff or the condition of the facility. The facility is always secure, safe and kept very clean. I would highly recommend this facility for storage. Great job Mike !!!!
