Nothing against the guy Ed who runs the shop but this is crazy. My SUV wouldnt start. I brought it and wanted to have the starter tested. The starter was the issue. I was quoted a total of $397 to complete the job which included $98 for labor and $249 for the part. I figured I could get the part cheaper elsewhere and just have it installed. Found it across the street for $109 after I bring back the core. Went back to Midas w/ the new part and the labor jumped from $98 to $172. How? Was now their procedure different? More involved? No, I was told its a different price structure. Thats crazy to me. I can see paying more maybe b/c I imagine they made some money off the part but from $98 to $172. This is crazy. I was going to have my oil change done but I decided to cancel that. I will not bring any of my vehicles back here again. No thanks.

Slimey manager lied about work NEEDING to be done. The work he tried to add-on was completely optional and unnecessary. Manager refused to sign form for insurance company to pay shop directly (so I had to wait extra days to get my car.) Manager claimed he didnt have a fax or copy machine (to fax bill to insurance, copy bill for me to give to insurance.) Manager gave me form that said "this is not a bill, do not pay from this" and told me the only way I get a bill is after I pay for the repairs. I told him, "no that is a receipt." IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF AND HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT GO HERE.
