AVOID this place like the plague. First, I bought a 2006 Audi Quattro from them in March/2013. The car appeared to be a good value for the $17,900 asking price they wanted. We live in RI. This dealer is in CT. I wanted the car looked over by MY mechanic. THEY delivered the car a few mornings AFTER to my mechanic to be looked at. There were several minor repairs that needed to be done. They did most of them (per our agreement) and we bought the car for $17k which was the Kelly Blue Book value for it. We picked it up a couple of days later. The FIRST MORNING that we went to drive the car, IT MADE A RACKET. The power steering module was making a loud humming noise. We brought it back the next day to them for repair under our 60 day warranty. They kept it a week. After a week they decided the pump didnt need repair because it wasnt "leaking" and the noise went away after about 15 minutes once the car warmed up. We took the car to a dealership in RI for a second opinion. They said the pump WILL need to be replaced because eventually that "noise" will get worse. When I went back to the dealership, the OWNER decided he would do a 50 / 50 replacement if we wanted it fixed because it really wasnt "broke" yet. Meaning I had to pay half. Half of about an $800 repair??? I had a FULL warranty. Not 50/50. I am going to take them to court now.. Stay away from this dealer. It is a typical used car bad reputation used car dealership that youve heard from other horror stories. They also have hidden "prep" fees that you dont find out about until youre signing to take the car. They also give you floor mats that are worth arent worth anything but were junk. And when youre trying to get a hold of someone to talk/fix/change things................nobody seems to want to take your call and are "busy". Run like hell. This dealer sucks. Do not buy an ashtray from this place. Youll regret it for sure. They come across as honest and kind..............................................UNTIL THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of sheep in wolves clothing. Oh, and the pump STILL makes a loud noise when it is cold. Only after 15 minutes does it sound normal. See you in court boys.

Be very, very careful with this place. I went to look at, as advertised, an "absolutely mint" 2005 Volvo S40 T5 manual. This car was a nightmare. There was massive amounts of oil stains on the lot next to the car. Hopefully this volvo wasnt the cause of that. I brought my brother to test drive the car, who was a volvo tech for 5 years. After driving out of the lot, the engine would vibrate with the rpm under normal load. The salesman tried to tell us that it was just flat spots on the tires, which it clearly wasnt. After driving the car back to the lot, we opened the hood and noticed the entire bottom of the engine was covered in oil. Pulling out the dip stick showed the car had no oil left in it. The salesman, for some reason, let us bring the car in the shop and put it on a lift. After going through it, the car showed a lot of work. The top right engine mount was completely worn. The right front axle was shot. Both front control arms were worn out and needed to be replaced. The oil pan had been taken off and of course the salesman had no idea about that. The person who "repaired" the car, which we believe was someone at champagne motorcars, used RTV silicone as a gasket for the oil pan. Anyone who works with volvos would never use RTV because it doesnt work on volvos at all. So that shows these guys have no idea what theyre doing with cars. Both side mirrors had been taken off and not put back on properly. The only excuse the salesman could muster up was that the car hadnt been through the shop yet, which is a complete lie. He also said that they almost sold the car to a women but she didnt have enough money, good thing for her. The engine wouldve blown up 10 minutes down the road due to not having OIL in it. This used car dealer is an absolute joke. If youre in need of a nice looking car that has mechanical work done to it by complete idiots, this is the place. All the cars come with no warranty which only strengthens my belief they were trying to move this car quickly because it had more problems then they knew how to fix. Stay away from this dealer.

Dear Mr. Champagne and Joe, I am loving the 03 Carrera 4S! The photos were great and accurate. The description was correct. The sales person Joe was very pleasant to be with and deal with. The paper works and transactions were on time. I went down to the Champagne Motor Car Company with my wife one Sunday afternoon knowing that the place is closed on Sundays that it is the company policy that everyone deserves to spend time with the family on Sunday, what a nice concept. I saw the C4S, nobody was around, no pressure, looked under the car, no stains even though the brake discs were showing the brown rust spots from the previous rains which meant no engine oil leak. A good sign indeed. Monday morning I emailed Mr. Champagne to schedule a test drive on following Wednesday. The car was a 30 years of my dream come true that I would own a 911 when I turn 60. Thank you Mr. Champagne and Joe! I will have the best 60th birthday anyone can ever have in this coming June. PS: You have promised me a fresh oil and a fresh battery. Thank you very much for keeping that promise. For people who are not familiar with this car, it takes 10 quarts of synthetic oil which is more money than the regular engine oil. Plus they gave me a free fresh battery.

My wife and I were convinced from past experiences that buying a car from a dealership had to be a painful experience filled with head games that you had to endure to get to the car you wanted. I have to say that that has all changed with our car buying experience with Champagne Motor Cars. My call was received by Joe when I called to check on a vehicle that I was interested in getting for my wife. From the moment I talked with Joe I knew I was dealing with a person who was proud to be a part of a team when he spoke so highly of his coworkers and especially the owner Ken. The car was exactly as advertised. There were no games. My wife and I were treated with such respect as every question was answered directly from both Ken and Joe clearly with no games. We were giving the time to think. Then when we committed to buy the car, they followed through with everything they said they would do. We dealt with Gus for the financing and the A+ service continued. I can honestly say that this was a refreshing experience and we had a blast buying this car! It clear that these guys have the winning recipe…. A quality product with CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have a very nice 66 Chevelle that needed a wheel alignment. After dropping my hot-rod off at champagne I went out to do some errands and gave them a call to see if they were done. They said that my car was out on a test drive now, and when I stop by it would be back ready to pick up. I drove 20 mins back to champagne and to my surprise my car was STILL out being test driven. I waited yet another 15 mins for my Chevelle to come back and who come out? Two young smiling mechanics.... Really? it takes two mechanics over a half hour to test the alignment on my muscle car? Im lucky I have any rear tires left. To top it off when I opened the hood one of the monkeys left his flashlight mount in the engine compartment. Good thing the guy doesn’t work on aircraft or he would have been fired. Never going back.
