I could not be any happier with Glenville Terrace. Not only is the staff friendly and knowledgeable but they know what it means to be customer oriented and it shows best in their work. Trip 1: First stop in was last fall after a hail storm in Boston. Golf ball sized hail did a number to my car. At first glance, I noticed over 100 various size dents in my doors, trunk, roof, and hood and really thought most of them would always be there. Not only does Glenville handle all the insurance company communications (which honestly can be really slow) but they were more than happy to walk through each step of the process any time I called for an update. Trip 2: A week ago I had noticed someone decided to use my bumper as a guide when parking on the street and left a massive 1ft wide scratch on my car. The guys at Glenville let me know what the process and the cost right up front and told me to bring the car in this Monday. I also noted that they incorrectly mounted my roof rack and caused cosmetic damage to my roof. No argument, no questioning, no problems at all and they said they would take care of it. I picked my car up today and all I can say is Wow. not only did they do an amazing job matching my paint for my bumper (complete repaint) but they were not happy with just buffing out my roof so they repainted it entirely (around my sunroof) and everything looks amazing. I am super OCD about things when it comes to my car and all I can say is that Glenville will be the only body shop I go to from now on. They are clear and concise with the work they do, deal with your insurance company directly, the work is done well, and if they happen to cause an issue, they are more than willing to make it right, no questions asked. Also, just to test them a bit because I was curious and have seen/heard horror stories, I took a picture of my milage when I dropped my car off. When I picked it up, only .3 miles had been driven on it. Its become a practice of mine to make sure no joy riding ever happens in my car and I am happy to say Glenville can be trusted for more than just their work. tl;dr: If you care about your car, have any amount of damage to the body work, and are looking for a quality shop, take your car to Glenville Terrace. If I had one word to describe Glenville auto body it would be INCREDIBLE! I was in a real bind - my car was damaged by a backing truck right before I was moving to California. I initially gave the car to another body shop, but after a couple of days the mechanic told me that he would be unable to do the work in the given time. At that point I had exactly six days to have my door, fender, and any hidden damage repaired. I drove around the Boston area on a Saturday with the aim of finding an auto body shop that could help me out. I visited multiple shops and they all refused to accept the work. One manager of a body shop flat out told me that I was asking for the impossible and that no one would be able to finish the work given the time constraints. Luckily, I decided to give it one last try, and went to Glenville auto. Barry was extremely nice and told me that given my situation, he would expedite the repairs. I got the car over and Barry and his team got to work with my insurance. Everything went extremely smoothly (I had to do nothing) and they managed the entire process with my adjuster. Six days later, I picked up my car looking brand new with a perfect paint job (the car is 6 years old and the paint job can be tricky). Barry, Rodrigo, and the rest of the Glenville auto body team were exceedingly helpful, courteous, and trustworthy. It is rare to find people who help strangers out in the way Barry and his team aided me. I am recommending Glenville auto to all my friends and hope you give them a chance to help you out. I am certain they will do a great job!!

well I cant say they are fast Im from NY and someone hit me and my friend recommended me here. I have not seen the body work yet so hence the review is 3 stars. But they have had my car for over a month to be exact a month and 2 weeks. and still is not complete telling me sometime next week and all that happened was I got hit from behind all I needed was a new bumper and exhaust. I call them and they keep saying got the wrong part same stuff every body shop says feel like thats an excuse every body shop uses and everyone has heard. I ask him can you see if you can take some of the key marks someone made over my car out and he goes let me check, in my head Im like I told u this 2 weeks ago and now that you call me back 2 weeks Lata I expected an answer not a ooooo let me see now. he said it needed to be buffered off Im like u had my car for over a month I told you this 2 weeks ago why wasnt any of this done? I know u dont have to do this but you buffered my bumper your a body shop taking key marks is something you should be able to do and trust me there faint key marks I know they have the tools for that. but like I said Im still waiting and pray this works out for me and if they do a great job I will rewrite a post and give them 5 stars. but for now I have to think Im being played should not take a month and a half to get my car back.

Glenville does really great work, is very familiar with the insurance claims process and makes any insurance-claim repair really straight-forward and as painless as possible. They do high quality work and back it up. I drive a 2005 Chrysler 300C that was side-swiped on the drivers side, from the rear door up to the front fender, with pretty significant damage. The car came back looking good as new, with everything working properly and looking great. I did have a small issue with some rusting on the rear door which was "reskinned" with new outer sheet metal. When I brought the car back, over a year after the initial repair, Barry, the owner, promptly took a look at the car and immediately said he would remedy the problem by reskinning the door again with new sheetmetal, under warranty, at no cost to me. Additionally, he said if the rusting problem happened a second time, he would replace the door entirely, still under warranty and at no cost to me. Not the lowest cost repair place if youre undertaking a repair job out-of-pocket, but when you factor in getting the job done right, theyre the only place to go to in Boston. Barry is a great businessman, and is a real straight-shooter who backs up his work with rare integrity.

I brought my car here after someone dropped the contents of a dumpster on the roof of my car and left an unfortunate dent. The color matching was spot-on, and I appreciated this because I have an imported Volvo with an atypical gold tint. Major problems: inspect your car closely on receipt. There was a broken wiper blade assembly that they had ordered, just "forgot" to place. They did not buff my front headlight, though paint had been spilled on it from the dumpster. When I opened the door, the plastic moulding assembly was completely detached. It is impossible to believe this wouldnt be clear to anyone in the car. They ripped my steering wheel cover. Thankfully, there was a cover (but it wasnt cheap)! I was extremely disappointed that I had to babysit them so closely. They clearly didnt do a final inspection. Edit: I intentionally downgraded this review because the owner told me he would replace the steering wheel cover that was damaged in my repair, and never bothered following up. I spoke with him on the telephone, and he simply didnt bother. This review will stand. Do not take your vehicle here. They do not perform adequate exit inspections and may damage your vehicle.
