Imperial Auto Body of DC has renewed my faith in auto repair - they have kind and professional staff that have a keen understanding of what you and your car need. Example: the situation I was in was not pleasant - usually, having to take your car in isnt the most pleasant situation. For me, my brave little Toyota Corolla was a dented, but drive-able, wreck that insurance was in a battle with another insurance company over who-was-going-to-pay-to-fix-it. For the time being, since I stupidly did not get collision insurance (oh, you better believe I have it now) the poor schmuck who would have to pay to fix my dented quarter panel would be me unless I wanted to wait until WMATAs insurance adjusters finally returned the phone calls of my insurance adjuster (which hasnt been happening). Joe gave me the bad news that the initial estimate (which I had asked for earlier based upon a superficial survey of the vehicle) was too low because the damage was too great: I could either spend $4k to fix the car or, as he recommended, trade it in for a new one. Now, Joe and Imperial Auto would earn nothing if I took the second option--which turned out to be the best for me, but he still recommended it, they still put my car back together, and had it ready for pick up the next day - I only wish I could find a way to repay their kindness and honesty (I hope this post helps).

THESE AWFUL PEOPLE HAD MY TRUCK FOR 17 days and it took them 14 days to even get it started according to what they told me. It was different story every other day, Only the Office manager speaks english and she doesnt know what is going on. It was one story after another. They finally Left me a message after 16 days that my truck was fixed and ready for pickup. It was not! When the guy was smiling at me and saying the spark plugs were wet I wondered why and how so he put the hood up I asked him to show me what he fixed the guy said there was water in the oil. They only billed the insurance company for 8 hours of labor to put on a new bumper but my truck was towed there because it had stopped running after a rear end collision. When it was supposed to be taken to diagnostics on the following Monday morning it mysteriously had 2 flat tires which they did not bother to tell me so I was informed by the insurance agent that the tires had been slashed. They are of course denying everything and since the tires had been "slashed" according to them they could not take it to be diagnosed. The owner, Mr. Song never bothered to speak with me or call me back even though I was promised he would let me know what was taking so long day after day. Dont trust these people.

I also sent my daughters car who goes to school at Catholic University, to Imperial auto body in DC. The Maryland branch did such a great job, that my daughter had a small fender bender at school. The Imperial DC location was just amazing, Joe, who is the man we dealt with, was great from beginning to end. He kept us informed of what was happenining, and my daughter took the option to view the vehicle on-line. So every time they move the vehicle into a new stage we got an automated email, updating us, and everything came out perfect! Thank you again for making the process of fixing my family vehicles very smooth. Cheers to a diamond in the rough we found!

This is another great body shop, I originally used there shop in Rockville, somehow it got towed to there DC shop, the service is fantastic, the Porsche Cayenne just came out perfect, thank you imperial auto body for being the best. You make the whole horrible expience so easy to deal with, the customer service is the best!

Took my car to Imperial to get it fixed after someone backed into it. The service was outstanding the quality of the work is impecable. The turnaround time is amazing. Joe is a true pro and runs a tight ship. I would recommend anybody needing body work done on their car to take it to Imperial Auto Body of DC.

I recently had my car repaired at imperial. They also told me that this is a different company than the one that the other reviews are for. The new management took over a couple of months ago. They aranged for my rental car transportation, fixed my car fast. I would recommend this shop and use them again.

Amazing facility, took my BMW for repairs to the front and rear end, and had it back quicker then they promised. The quality was better then any repair shop I have ever taken it too. The staff was absolutely amazing, and the office was really nice. Deffinetly a great experience.
