I was badly ripped off by these guys. The owner pretends he is all nice and honest, but then marks up everything and when you challenge him on the prices he starts to becomes a lot more nasty. He says he charges for labor and parts, however that makes you think he is not making a profit on the parts, but that is not the case. I would forgive a 10% markup, but almost 70% markup !!!!! His labor prices are almost the same as a dealers, so you dont really save on labor and then he puts a HUGE markup on the parts. Also, I did not trust the times he quoted. I will never use this place again. Oh, and what was worse the repair they did quickly failed, so i took it to another autoshop who shook their heads, called the installers cowboys and then did the job correctly at less than 50% of superior auto repair. My recommendation- AVOID ! Save Money and Hassle.

AVOID AVOID!!! My fiance had a terrible experience with this auto repair shop. Not only did they wrongly diagnose the problem ( perhaps deliberately..hmmm?), the owner charged for almost a days worth of labor and although I cant remember the hourly amount, I think it was $90/hour, we also found out later they had also massively inflated the prices of the parts. He refused to warranty his labor on parts if you purchase them privately, forcing you to pay his hefty marked up prices for the exact same part. When my fiance got the car back, worst still, it still had the same problem. Almost a thousands dollars wasted!!! I think the place should be called Inferior Auto Repair!!! My fiance went to another mechanic called Bobby who sorted it out in less than an hour, total cost $127. Bobby will always get our business now.

it was a nightmare from the start even a simple oil change was a bad experience they rotate your tires as part of the oil change put they dont put the tire back on secure all my lug nuts where half off 2 days later when I stopped at a tire shop to see why it was riding funny also had rear main seal and crank shaft seal 3 times I had to take it back then ended up in court Mike Thorpe the owner comes off as Mr.Nice guy smooth talker but it is BullS### and I know a few friends I sent to him for location that are unsatisfied also had a friend have some electrical work done not too long ago and of course he had to return because work was not done proper so beware of this so called mechanic

This is our second time to have work done at Superior Auto Repair. We are very happy with the repairs, service and honest manner in which Mike Thorp runs his business. In this day and age of "Big Box" businesses it is wonderful to see a family operated business who truly care about their customers. I find it hard to believe any of the negative reviews posted here. Probably put there from competitiors. My review is for real, and we will be back! Just keep doing what your doing Superior Auto Repair!

Be very careful, I asked for a price to replace a timing belt. When they called and quoted it, the price seemed fair, but it did not include the parts. We dropped of the auto and (like a dummy) didnt read the form I signed. I was rushing out of town and thought it was the same as others not realizing that they only quoted the labor. Before we got done I had three different out the door prices. Needless to say I wont be back!! Get me once shame on me, you wont get me again!!!!

They have always been upfront and honest with the work needing to be done without being pushy. I have not once felt like I was being pressured into getting more work done than was necessary. I have never had to return to have additional work done because it wasnt completed properly the first time (Like some of the other shops Ive dealt with). Great local family owned business who will get all of my business from now on. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Very happy I called Superior Auto when my car was dead and stuck in park. Mike the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable, as well as his service manager Jim. You can really tell that this shop works hard for customer satisfaction and is realistic about what your car needs done now, and what can wait. I am very very pleased with their level of service, plan on coming back for regular oil changes and any other problems my car decides to throw my way!

I drive an average of 3,500 miles per month. Needless to say, my car is crucial to my being able to do my job. Mike and his team keep my car in top running condition. They have never suggested something that was not needed or would not be needed within the next month. Since I drive monthly what most drive in three months, knowing what may become a problem before it does is important to me. They are the best, thank you Superior Auto!

Unprofessional, rude and uncouth front desk. They speak badly about customers to other customers, a total turnoff. Mechanical work was okay - couldve gotten the same results elsewhere without being totally uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room listening to the front desk staff bad mouth people while waiting for my car to be repaired. Go to Lexs or Keeners where the staff is pleasant, efficient and rated higher than this place.

Took my car in for an oil change and after the service my oil light came on then my check engine light. Took my car back there to see what was wrong and they wouldnt even scan my car without charging me $98!! Took my car to another shop to find out they put the wrong oil in my car! Horrible customer service and obviously no attention to detail. Would NEVER recommend to anyone

Avoid! Good talkers. Bad mechanics. Almost everything I had done there had to be redone, some by other shops. Last time they told me that I needed a new engine. I took it to another shop and they had it fixed the same day. They charged me $450 to tell me I needed a new engine and when the other shop fixed it they wouldnt refund anything. That was 20,000 miles ago.

I am never disappointed, Mike and Jim always take care of my issues at a fair price and back up their work. I NEVER feel like I have a stamp on my forehead that says SUCKER!!! And trust me, being a women, I have been taken advantage of many times by mechanic shops... SO IF YOUR ELDERLY OR A WOMAN, THIS IS A SAFE SHOP TO TRUST WITH YOUR REPAIR NEEDS!!!!

I have dealt with Superior Auto Repair for several years. Ive found the shop very clean, price really reasonable, staff very friendly + the healthy snacks are delicious while in the waiting room. They also send you a reminder when your vehicle is due for an olf (oil, lube and filter) What more can you ask for. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT SERVICE.
