MUFASA King

My truck was making this boiling sound. Took it in and they said they needed to do a compression test. The test came back good and I had the coolant flushed and new thermostat put in. Following day notice temp sensor gage went from all the way cold to all the way hot, then past the hot rating, as far to the right it could go. Called it in and was told the temp gauge was off and probably need to be replaced. So Im thinking well..its just the temp gauge and I can drive on it. Got over to where I was working and I hear the same boiling again. Called it in and was told the tech heard some gurgling from the air conditioner but that was it, no boiling. So, Im thinking the boiling I was hearing and the gurgling he was hearing had nothing to do with the cooling system for the engine. Any way, on the way home and within a mile of my house, I notice steam coming from the engine, I was able to make it to my house but, it was not running smoothly anymore. Called them again and was told to bring it in. I brought it in and they perform an analysis and told me I blew a head gasket. I spent all that money on preventive maintenance for nothing. Stay away and find someone you can trust. I will not take anymore of my vehicles to this place. Youve been warned.

This is the best car repair shop Ive ever used. Trust me, Ive maintained cars for many decades. Not only do they repair my car efficiently, their customer service is outstanding. Their waiting room is clean, comfortable and doesnt stink like tires or motor oil. Theres coffee, freshly baked cookies and a sparkling clean bathroom. Yes, as comfortable as home. And if you need to leave your car for the day, theyll even give you a ride home, then bring you back to the shop to retrieve your car if you have no other transportation.

I have been using them for about 9 years for both major & routine work. I am impressed with their training and professionalism. They have done major work when my water pump died & damage was done to my engine to helping me find why my battery would not hold a charge and came up with solutions to the problem. I like it that all my service work is in their records so we know what has been done. Nice friendly folks also, pleasant always, even when delivering bad news. I recommend them highly!

Took my car there on 2 different occasions, both times spent over $1200.00 and after a few days, had the same problem I took it there to get fixed. I tried to work with the owner but she wanted to charge me additional money so I decided to go elsewhere. I will not be going back to this place again. I have a neighbor that told me a similar story about his experience so this doesnt seem to be an isolated incident.

Im looking for a place to check my AC and this place popped up. I went there about 4 years ago for an oil change and the lady came out with a list of things I supposedly needed totaling around $500 which included a new radiator. I still have my original radiator and have never had a problem or added any fluid. I would never take my car there again.

Best repair shop I’ve ever worked with. The staff always takes time to explain what’s wrong with the car and what will fix it. Best diagnosticians I’ve ever seen. They’ve found my problems faster and more accurately than the dealer. When I drive away I know my problem’s been fixed right.
