Was quoted $1500 for repair had it towed in ended up being $2000 Could have left it at the Chrysler dealership who had already diagnosed it for same price with better warranty. ( He had the diagnositc papers BEFORE it was towed in) The tow cost me $120 so it actually cost me more to get it repaired at TAS then Firkins Chrysler!!! WTF!!!! Was told repair would be done in 4 days BUT took 2 weeks. Never called to update. Car was repaired but came out making noises it did not in past we brought back and they told us that is what an old car sounds like. (84,000 miles on it ). They checked it out and said it was nothing they did. Turns out it was coming from a shotty repair job they did. Paid else where to repair there mistake. While Julio was always polite when we dealt with his head mechanic he was rude and had no customer skills. He interupts and actually holds his hand up to stop you mid sentence. paid alot to get treated poorly. Did not hold to actual estimate. Did not complete job correctly. did not complete with in time frame. Had no communication skills. Bad expereince. Would not go there again....They charge as much as the dealership who HAS factory trained techs and they have back yard mechanics. Best bet is to not trust them with anything above tires or an oil change. I will never go there again .....How could I? Hope they learn from their mistake but don;t think they care as they already have my $2000. Lied to in Ruskin, the Judge.

The shop only receives a 1 because a zero is not possible. Brought in for one repair, left with additional issues. On 06/02/2016 I paid for a repair that I was told was completed in regards to a short in the electrical system. When the vehicle was brought into the business, the vehicle was in working order, minus the battery drain which was occurring. I was quoted one amount and I was assured it would be no more than the quoted amount of $220. At the time I picked up the vehicle, I was charged a higher amount which was then credited. My husband picked up the vehicle later that evening only to find the dash was damaged in two places, the vehicle was not operating correctly, the air conditioning was not working and the gages were not responding. We took the vehicle back. I was told that their work was not related to that issue however prior to it being brought into their shop, it was working correctly. We have two witnesses who can provide affidavits for the vehicles service issues. They had it for another week when we were told it was repaired again. We picked it up again, the problems still existed. This has gone on until when we just picked up the vehicle today, 07-16-2016. At this point we would like a full refund as although the original problem was resolved, the shop has created three additional issues and physical damage. If this is unanswered, further legal action will be taken to recover the damages.

I was driving in the car with my teenage daughter and we hit a pothole and got a flat tire. We were fortunate enough to pull into Total Automotive Services, where the owner, Julio, greeted us and assured us he could have us back on the road in no time. While I could tell you that they provided exceptional service for a good price ( which they did) I want to share that the owners actions that day is was impressed me the most. My teenage daughter was having an exceptionally bad day and was very upset. He took the time to talk with her while we waited and offered her some great insight and advice. In a day where people dont "talk" to each other enough much less "listen" I found this experience to be incredibly refreshing. My thoughts... Julio showed me what kind of man he was, and anyone who could take time out to listen to the problems of a teenage girl, would listen to his customers in the same way! If you are looking for a Service Shop that will listen to you and talk with you, if you are looking for a company who you can trust to take good care of you and tell you the truth...If you are looking for that genuine NICE GUY who you can trust... I HIGHLY recommend Julio and his team from TAS.

A few months ago I brought in a set of 4 tires to be changed on my girlfriends truck. Today had a to change out a tire due to a flat & found 3 lug nuts stripped & very loose lug nuts on all 4 tires. Have not had any other work done on the tires since then & had 1 tire about ready to fall off & had 1 tire that is different from the he set I brought in. This whole time my girlfriend has been driving around in very unsafe conditions with her children. Not very happy with this mechanic & will never use them ever again & if you do decide to have your vehicle serviced here then I would double check the work before having your family driving around.

During my recent visit to family in the area, I developed a problem with my car that would have prevented my return home to Canada. Julio provided outstanding service. He fit me into his busy schedule, and repaired the problem within a day. He kept me informed on the progress of the work from diagnostic to service; and he was incredibly fair in the amount he charged for the work, especially since I had no choice but to have the car repaired if I wanted to drive home. ALWAYS ON THE BALL. Total Automotive Services replaced the fuel pump on my S-10 pickup at a very fair price and within the time they said. I had my vehicle previously checked at a BIG BRAND NAME repair shop, they quoted me $1,250. for a fuel pump on my S-10 pick up. I had to pay that place $125.00 for just checking the vehicle and to get it back and even after that fee and towing the truck fee of 15 miles, I saved a lot of money with Total Automotive Services. They got my VOTE for all future repairs on all my vehicles. Thank You Guys!!! VERY HAPPY!!

Needed water pump replaced on vehicle and asked them to replace timing belt as well. When I picked up the vehicle they had it outside and running. Drove the car from Florida back to North Carolina and found the water pump to be leaking again. Opened the hood and found they had broken coverplates for the engine and timing gear area, then tried to glue them back together with gasket sealer. I wouldnt go here for any repairs. Now I need to have original work done again plus replace the coverplates.

I visited 3 other Shops in the area before I came here. This place was the most professional and the best price, they explained everything in detail, didnt talk down to me because Im a girl. Did exactly what they said and let me borrow a car to get my baby to school and me to work while my car was down. Recommended to everyone but must important to women who need a respectable mechanic.

This auto shop is a total RIP-OFF. The owner Julio gives you a price. Then when you go get your car, he up-sells and charges you more. Its a shame that they would want to keep loyal customers, instead are greedy and want to take advantage of you. They are open late to get your business, random people then fix your car. Very Shady dealings, wont go back. Watch out.
