If I could give negative stars I would. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with a business. The owner John Scott has been downright abusive in his communications with my husband and myself. We bought a home with a brand new roof from this company that came with a 10 year warranty on it. For the last YEAR we have tried to have them honor this warranty by repairing the MAJOR LEAKS from the roof with either a lack of response to our emails and calls or John Scott calling us and yelling at us. The roof was leaking so bad the first time the bathroom ceiling crashed in during a storm, with a fountain of water pouring through and is still yet to be fixed. I have 4 young children that it could have fallen on. John Scott came out after months of complaints, numerous no shows, sending his workers out to say there was no problem with the roof( but re-tarring in attempt to repair parts of the roof), making empty promises to fix it, only to replace the wrong skylight that had no leaks around it (that now does have leaks) and not follow through on fixing the leak areas and damage in the bathroom or the family room. Currently, our ceiling is black and brown from water damage in the family room and a hole in our bathroom ceiling and I am afraid for my childrens health. Attached are pictures of the water damage in our family room and the hole in the bathroom ceiling. John Scott has tried to threaten us into taking down these honest reviews and complaints and has stated that the leaks are due to our chimney. However, water would have to travel UP for there to be water damage in our family room from a chimney leak. At one point, we were told by DDR Drywall the reason the work has never been done is because John Scott Roofing messed up the paperwork and billed drywall repairs (that were never done) to a different address. He then called us, screaming at us that we MUST take the BBB complaint down or he would not fix the leaks. If you want any kind of integrity, honesty, human decency, or quality work stay far away from this company!

GREAT COMPANY - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fantastic turnaround returning my calls. They got me on the schedule very quickly and at a very reasonable price. The crew was very hardworking and polite. Did a great job cleaning up too! Im very happy with the quality of work and I have already recommended JOHN SCOTT ROOFING to a good friend who needs a new roof before putting his house on the market. Thank you for providing peace of mind in knowing that I have a good, solid roof during all the torrential rain! I would gladly rate you 10 stars if possible!

John Scott was really thorough explaining everything to me. And when it came time to doing the actual work his crew came out and took care of my roof Within two days. The first day they did almost everything the second day it took them all of an hour to finish up. When my insurance company was being difficult John Scott took care of them for me. I highly recommend this company because of professionalism and amazing customer service!
