I found Blew Chocolate Salon on Google. I was looking for a salon that could roller set my very curly hair and the overhead dryer. Well, they had all that and more. They were warm and friendly and the salon had a nice ambiance. My hair was severely damaged by another hairdresser at a chain hair salon that had used that keratin smoothing treatment who assured me it wouldnt damage my hair. I came into the Blew Chocolate Salon and showed them my hair and they knew immediately what product to use to deep condition my hair. While I was there I decided to get my gray roots colored and also a hair trim. Boy, did they know hair color. They made sure I was happy with how the color was processing. There prices are amazing and they dont skimp on time spent on your hair or use of their products. Carress was my hairdresser, she knew her stuff and was totally accommodating through my whole hair process. My color was beautiful and my hair was soft. Great Salon and I plan on being a return customer! My boyfriend wanted me to mention he is extremely happy with how my hair turned out:)

My appointment was for 4.30pm but I left a message at 2.59pm informing them I was arriving ahead of schedule because I completed an assignment ahead of time. Get this my braider/stylist Carress pronounced "Car-Reese" aka "Cake" was at the salon ready to do my hair. Yayyyyy! I found Blew Chocolate Salon using a Google search. "Cake" my braider/stylist was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. We discussed prices and styles during a brief consultation, then "Cake" started the process of doing my hair. It was nice to decompress after a busy day in a peaceful atmosphere free of drama. I am absolutely thrilled with my hair! I had it cornrowed using commercial hair. Before I left the salon, I made an appointment to return in 2 to 3 weeks. Oh, comparison shop elsewhere, Blew Chocolate Salon will not give prices over the phone.

Amazing service and extraordinary staff. Im new to the area and was in search of a new hair extension salon. Thank goodness I came across this salon!!! The ladies were very thorough in discussing my individual needs and the best way to install my extensions. Carress was not only incredibly talented, but such a pleasure to talk to throughout the process. I would definitely recommend this salon, and will most certainly be back! Thanks ladies!

5 STAR for Blew Chocolate Salon. I have never in my life left a salon so incredibly happy that I was skipping. This place is the boss. Everything from the decor to the receptionist.. I am in love with it. She really knows how to do hair, and makes you feel beautiful!! She specialize in hair extensions, blow-outs, and chemical straightners.I would recommend it to anyone.

The owner of this salon does not have a set price and really does not know how to do hair well. Dont be fooled by her when she says she has worked in NY before. The outcome of the hair do will confirm the inexperience of her skills. However, her cousin who works with her is alot more knowledgeable and friendly. I would not recommend anyone to for a weave at this salon.

I came into this salon asking for a weave. I was reassured that the weave would look great and the tracks would stay in. 200$ later I leave the salon and you could see my entire track on top of my head. This place is horrible. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!! She even rolled her eyes when I asked her to blend my length. Trash job!

Me and my daughter went in. She got a perm and hair cut. Looked good but 95 dollars is way too much. I got a weave in. It was horrible! Track was showing and within the first week my track had come loose. My weave lasted less than a month. Ill never go back. And forget an appointment time. We still waited a long time.

I had the best experience at the Blew Chocolate Salon! I felt welcomed! Never did I not feel welcome. The atmosphere is great! The owner and her staff are great what they do! I just finished getting my hair braided in box braids here. The young lady took her time and got it right. There was a spot that was bothering me and she took down 4 braids until she found the culprit. 2 hours later, I am sitting here looking good with no pain! I will definitely return!
