Took my car to these guys for a check engine light. First I got a code from Advance Auto showing an O2 sensor error. The staff tells me that a a computer code is not a proper diagnostic and they would go over it with a complete inspection to find the true cause... for 59.95. So I paid it. They tell me that the gasket is burned out on my Y pipe exhaust and I need a new one. I figure, all right I can fix that myself. I drive the car home and let it cool so I can measure the bolt pattern for that gasket. When I go to check it, one of the bolts is missing the nut. Thats allowing it suck air into the exhaust and trip the sensor. I call them up to ask WTF, and they tell me it was in there when they inspected it. Bullsh!t. A header bolt is torqued to 60psi. There is NO WAY IN HELL that the bolt fell off in the 5 miles between my home and that shop. I think they just did the same thing Advance did and hooked up a diagnostic computer and got a good reading on the upstream sensor and a bad reading on the down stream sensor then guessed that the gasket between them was bad. Then quoted me 250 for a repair. If he had admitted his error when I spoke to him on the phone I would allow them to repair the problem and continue doing business with them. But instead he lied to me thinking he could get away with it. I will NEVER do business with them again. Do not take your car to these people.

I own an Airport Limo Service in Tampa Bay and we put lots of miles on cars, use a lot of high quality tires and need excellent maintenance work. I have been using Tires Plus in Safety Harbor for all of the above for more than three years now. We always get good prices on tires and needed maintenance. Recently, our 2011 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan started emitting a noise that made me think it could either be an engine problem or perhaps a hole in the tailpipe, or a muffler problem. With 110,000 miles on the Van this would not be unusual. The Manager had his staff look it over and it turned out to be a loose clamp. Total cost to me for labor in tightening it, $10.69. This is the kind of honest advice we all need to avoid unnecessary costs. Also, even though I had no appointment this time, they had me out of there in about 40 minutes. We certainly appreciate this kind of honest service and will continue to be regulars there. Russ H. St Petersburg

We had an emergency, my husband had a blow out on the way home from work. He was only 1/2 mile from your location. Our insurance company sent a tow truck to him. I worked with your manager, Mike, who was really helpful. He assured me that a) he had the right tires for the car and b) even if the tow truck didnt get my husband there until right before close, that they would stay and make sure he was taken care of. He quoted me $110 for two tires installed, which was great. Very please with his courteous and efficient service. Thank you!

9:45am Just got a quote this morning for new rear brake rotors and brake pads. $361.40 Upon further research: At advanced auto down the road the rotors are 15 a pop and the pads are 40 for all 4. So this shop was going to charge me 70 for material and 290 for two hours of labor. Not even a criminal lawyer can successfully bill that amount in this area, and at this rate they may just have to afford one.

This place is rip off, stay away form this place. my car broke down one day i took it to them and they give me Quote of $1200 !!!!!!!! , i took it to my local car mechanic he fix it for just $150. so just say away form this place . its big time rip off and guy on counter had very bad attitude.

I recently stopped in for wiper blades, and I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. Damon was friendly and informative. I didnt have to wait long. I wasnt hassled to buy anything extra. I will definitely be coming back for further maintenance on my car.

Counter help was friendly and helpful, however i feel like crackheads changed my oil. I dont think they care at all about their jobs, hence shotty messy work shop and overall mechanical performance. If its your only choice ok, but try someplace else if you can.

I got new tires & alignment car undrivable afterwards lol they then told me I needed 600$ worth of work. This was my daily driver it drove fine when I took it in for tires. Eventually I took it to another tires plus they fixed it for me no charge.

Called to ensure they could get me in. "If you can be here by 9AM I can get you right in." I get there just before 9AM and he says I can get to it in an 1.5hrs. Over sale and under deliver. Will not use this place for any service.

Saturday afternoon 1:15 four of the six bays open three salesman upfront only two guys working in the shop. Turning people and sales away asking to schedule appointments. I dont get it
