I work near this place and never took my car here for more than 3 years. I need to write it in details to explain how fair this shop (Bill) is. I had a misfiring due to a bad ignition coil (went to auto zone to get the code and they told me its a bad #5 ignition coil and it costs around 67$.) So I went back to my mechanic (key discount) to let him examine the vehicle, The quote I got was 488$ including 1 ignition coil and 1 spark plug. When I asked them to detail the parts and labor, ignition coil=135, spark plug 105, 3 hours of labor (because coil5 is under the manifold and they have to remove lot of things to get to it, it was the case in online demos too) I felt I am paying double for the ignition coil . So I bought the part and checked in a different shop and he quoted me around 220$ just for the labor but he was busy. So I was coming back to work and thought of checking with Duncan, Bill said he will do it for 180, so I left the car and came back after 2 hours, he only charged me 42$ because he was able to do it without removing the manifold. I paid only 42$ instead of 488$, he could have easily hide it from me and could have charged me 180$ but what he got is a customer for life.

Took my little RV van here after a three thousand mile trip and Bill at Duncans checked her out saying a new battery and rear wheel bearings were necessary. They replaced the battery and asked me to bring it back in before I took off on my next long jaunt so they could check all the fluids and do another look through. Highly recommend, especially for the single lady who wants a good and honest job done on her vehicle. Their recommendation for the company who did the rear wheel bearings (Alans Gear Works) was right on also....good work and fair price. Thank you to Bill and the others at Duncan.s!

I am proud to call Duncan automotive and Bill my personal mechanic. You can go anywhere you want to have work done on your car but Bill is reputable and fair. I have two ten year old vehicles that I take good care of but when things break... As they often do on ten year old cars... Duncan is where I get things fixed. Ive had brake work, a water pump replaced, spark plugs replaced as well as the odd rattles and sounds diagnosed and fixed all at an affordable rate. As I said you can go anywhere you want for auto work. I choose to go to Duncan. Fairly priced and the work is top. Notch

My son had gone to them before but since I live in St. Petersburg I thought it was too far. So I got quotes to fix the discharge hose here in St. Pete. I went to several places, even a well-known one on 9th St. I was quoted over $400. I decided to take the ride to Oldsmar. They kept my car overnight at my request (it was not my main car) and fixed it for more than $200 less. It was worth the ride to finally find a shop that will not take advantage of a woman and are responsible, honest and dependable. Will definitely recommend them to all my friends.

Excellent work and honest. We were referred by our Very Particular Mother about their work and rates and if he made her happy, we are happy. We received a quote $80 less than a mechanic who touts low prices and $120 less than the dealer. They are honest and great.

These guys are down and dirty. Nothin fancy. But honest and cheap and do a good job. For example, I was honest with Bill and told him two other mechanics had quoted me $800 + for a job. Bill called me a few hours later and quoted $300-ish. Thats amazing.
