This is the most dishonest business. I used them back in 2012 for my toyota and they sold me on pads and rotors. When the vehicle continued to have oscillation issues; I took it back. They then said the problem was the brake booster. When that failed they pointed to the master cylinders. I took the brakes apart myself and they had put on two inner pads on one of the calipers. Dont ask me how you do this, but they found a way. By simply putting the brake pads on correctly it corrected the issue I was having. Fast forward to 2015, I went there to have a diagnostic of the vehicle (for a buyer since it is his mechanic). They pointed out several things they said were a main concern. I took it in to Christian Brothers Automotive (for a second opinion since I knew their "concerns" were foolish), who gave it a clean bill and said there were no issues with the vehicle. Not only that, but Christian Brothers Automotive did not even charge me to have a diagnostic check. It just goes to show you they are untrustworthy and lack integrity. The only thing they are interested in is making money. Caution using them if you have little to no knowledge of cars or they will take you to "the cleaners" as they say. I usually do all the work on my car so I know it is done right, but if I have to use any mechanics I would use without a doubt, Christian Brothers Automotive. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER USE MURRAY MOTIVE

My family and I have been bringing our vehicles to Murry Motive for about 10 years now. Foreign, domestic, SUV, sedan, performance...It has never mattered. Pat Murry and his team have been able to diagnose and repair everything we have brought to them. Even when my youngest brother "forgot" to change his oil (or even add more), and the car needed a new engine, these professionals just took it in stride. We have never had any issues with the service you will find at Murry Motive. And whats more, once theyve fixed it, we have never had an issue with it again. These guys have no issue staying after hours to take care of the issues. I am now living in St. Pete and still wont trust anyone but the team at Murray Motive. My girlfriend only trusts murray with her car, and my co-workers are beginning to call him as well. For a good mech, distance is no issue. I could keep going. Pat and Dennis have been advising me on what to look for in my next car purchase. They treat my mother, sister-in-law, and girlfriend with respect and honesty. They will tell you exactly what the problem with your vehicle is, and follow that up with how they will fix it and where every penny is going. If you are looking for the best, most reliable, group of mechanics in Tampa Bay, just get over to Tampa Rd and see the guys at Murray Motive

I have been taken my car to Murray Motive since I bought the car from Abes Next door. I cant say enough about this shop. Everytime I have a car problem, I take my car in, they check it out, and find the the problem quickly. Then they try to find the most economical repair for me since I am a single mom with 3 kids. This does not mean they do economical work. On the contrairy. Thier work is top notch. They always try to find the part for the best price for me and pass on the savings to me. When I come in to pick up my car after the repair, Pat has gone as far as taken pictures of the bad part and where it is installed so I can see what they did and I understand what was going on. You cant find another automotive repair shop that cares that much to make sure you understand what work was done and why.Other times I have taken it in because I thought I heard something wrong, they have taken the time to ride around in the car with me to hear what I am hearing! I will always take my cars there now and in the future. I will recommend them to all my single mom friends. You can go there and not be ripped off. They are a "family" and know how to treat thier customers as family as well.!!! Dont hesitate.. take it to Murray!

I have been blessed to be going to Murray Motive with all of my vehicles since I could drive. Murray Motive is a company that is professional, reliable, and helpful. They always want to keep you safe, but also understand that it is not always feasible to fix everything needed immediately- which is why they help to explain things, always making sure the customer understands what is being done, what needs to be done, and what should be done - but can be put off until a later date. I am truly grateful to have a mechanics team that I can trust and rely on, in the best of "Car Times" and in the worst of "Car Times." They always seem to make it not as bad as you think, and everything always gets done in a timely manner. Murray Motive is a company that always works WITH its customers, and with a wonderful relationship with Abes Auto that is just next door - anything you may need or want done is within walking distance; whether fixing, maintaining, cleaning, painting, buying or selling a car - they are all the resources you will ever need (and want). Even since moving farther away, I still make the drive to Murray Motive for all of my car needs - and never hesitate to recommend their services.

I went to Crown Honda in Pinellas Park, FL for an oil change and also to get their official perspective on what was wrong with my car. It took them 3 hours to do my oil change and to tell me I had $2688 worth of work that needed to be done. I had to actually throw a fit in order for them to finish and give me my car back after my oil change! While there I looked up a local mechanic near my home and found Murray Motive who had 5 stars out of 78 Reviews! Made an appointment online and Pat called me that evening to go over my concerns. I brought the car in on Tuesday at 8am and they confirmed half of what Honda thought was wrong with my car and I ended up paying less than half of what Honda would have charged me! AJ and John were great on explaining what was wrong and physically showing me the problem areas. They also gave me a loaner "soccer mom" van to drive around and do a few errands that day! My car was even washed and done all before 2pm that day and just in time for me to meet my appointments that evening. It feels like I have a brand new vehicle! Thank you MM! I hope this review helps future customers and you will definitely have me as a repeat client!

It is a HUGE relief to have a mechanic you can trust! My entire family, including myself, my father, mother and brother, are all loyal customers of Murray Motive. I wont take my car anywhere else. I am a young single woman and have been talked down to and taken advantage of by other mechanics before. After having a series of unfortunate problems with my car and hopping from one mechanic to the next, my dad encouraged me to bring my car to Murray about six months ago. I have been so impressed by their service ever since. They have gone above and beyond, providing excellent service, always with a complete and detailed explanation of the diagnosed problem, and always a great sense of humor and support (because its usually a stressful time when youre having car problems). About two weeks ago, my car overheated in Pinellas Park, a good distance away from Murray. But I wouldnt take my car anyplace else. I know for certain that my bill would have been much larger bill had I taken my car elsewhere - Gary and Pat helped to shave as much as they could off the bill to ease the pain. You feel like family when you walk in. And what other place makes you feel like that?
