I started coming here because, although I like to do most work on my vehicles myself, I dont mess with tires. And the reviews about other tire places in the area were horrible.. I seem to remember something about other places stealing things out of their customers car. I hate thieves, and few things would piss me off more. Ive had these guys do tires and/or diagnostics on several vehicles, the service is always quick and professional, both in the way theyve treated me and everyone else in my presence. Theyre a corporate operation, owned by Bridgestone (so same as Firestone service centers, in fact if you give them your phone number, theres a good chance youre already in the system if youve done business w/ one of their sister companies). The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, is because their slogan is "total car care," yet they lack some basic tools/abilities. For example, they dont have an advanced scan-tool (like a Snap-on or OTC) that can go deep into the onboard computers to pull out codes for airbags or ABS, for example. That seems like a big deal to me, because theyre quick to push brake service (pads, fluid flush, etc). but they cant resolve an ABS issue? Good scan tools can be had for $3000 or less, and theres really no reason why any shop shouldnt have one. In fact, I passed by a Shell station yesterday that also does mechanic work, and saw an employee holding one of those $3000 Matco scantools. If the small independent shops have this, surely a corporate operation that sells "total car care" should too. Also, I asked the manager if he could do a smoke diagnostic on my evap system, he said they dont have a smoke machine and thats something they would refer to a dealership (more like "stealership" in my opinion). Again, I feel like a smoke machine is really basic stuff, and most of the small independent tire shops have these things. Honestly, it hurts me to say anything remotely negative about these guys, because theyre so honest and competent at what they do. Id hate for someone to read this and say "welp, they cant help me with my ABS problem" and then go to a shady independent shop that doesnt have any standards of decency. Use discretion in choosing a mechanic; hopefully you already do if youre reading this. Again, rigid corporate standards and honest people ensure youll have a good experience with tires, brakes, oil changes, etc. One more thing, regarding the two negative reviews that exist as of this writing, this location got a new manager, Mike, as of about March 2013 I believe. Mike is a solid guy, and I feel like whatever circumstances led to those negative reviews, apparently under previous management, have (hopefully) been resolved now.

I think the negative reviews are from people who have unrealistic expectations. This location has never left me stranded, even when I randomly show up with a major issue. I understand quality work takes time and I wait. Two types of people you never rush: people who cook your food and people who work on your cars. Prices have been decent. I always see the part that is going in my car before they put it on. I always get shown what is being repaired. I know enough about cars to know when I am being lied to. They are honest. One time I was told by the manager there might be a rear differential issue but that it was beyond their expertise. They advised me to go to the dealer. When they can fix it, they do. If they do not know, they always recommend the dealer. They never cheat and recommend their friends shop. Ask for Mike or Manny.

This business made me feel underappreciated. They privide service(maintenance to the car) today in a way am not accustomed to. I came in for a tire rotation and alignment. I was watching how they were doing it . Where missing steps Ive seen in competitors businesses during tire rotation. There is also a diagram online you can find if your car is it front wheel or rear wheel drive or all wheel drive . How to properly rotate a tire. This has put a doubt in my mind! Since I lost the trust I asked to stop the service and took my business somewhere else. My impression is being lazy not truthful. Few months ago I purchase new tires here. I felted like intentionally trying to avoid the guarantee, by not providing the proper maintenance.

Came in during the morning with a flat, talked to Mike and Manuel, who even while working with multiple customers took the time to help me feel at ease. Manuel worked with me personally to pick out a new tire, and we set a time that was convenient for me and after work. He stayed late after his shift to replace my tire and make sure everything we set to go. Fantastic service, good price, couldnt be happier. When youre on a flat and driving on a donut, you dont want to be jerked around, rescheduled, forced to wait, or forced to drive someplace else on a dangerous emergency tire. Tires Plus helped me avoid all that.

I dont usually use ratings as a judgement on a business but I ended giving this place a try, and I really learned my lesson in business ethnics. This place is one of the those places where they think the customer can be a pawn. Basically, if you have to get a tire patched they will try to get you to buy a new tire. Now, if your one of those people who like the whole presentation thing and you dont mind spending allot of money then this place is for you, but if you believe that a customer should not be taken as a pawn this place is not for you.

I visited this store yesterday for an oil change. Mike and Manny went above and beyond to assist. I thought all my car needed was an oil change but they noticed a bigger issue. They were able to determine the cause and pointed me in the right direction. While in the store they did everything they could to make sure i was OK while i waited. Unlike most places they converse with their customers and thats a major plus ! I highly recommend this location !

Ive been to many car service shops before but Ive never felt my car in better hands than I did when I spoke with Michael. He talked to me like a person and not some other task on his to-do list. He explained the issue with my car clear and easy to understand. If I didnt understand he would try another way rather get frustrated. Really appreciated it. I only gave them a 4 star rating because they do take too long for oil changes. 3hrs is a bit much.

Everyone has been so helpful & honest! Mike & Manny truly seem to care & have bent over backward to help us out. Theyve let me know if I can get a better deal elsewhere (for certain parts only at a dealership) or if something needs to be re-fixed (which they do for free). I HIGHLY recommend & trust them! We bought a used car at 100k so needless to say, weve visited them frequently!

Bought my Jetta TDI new there in 2009 which was very easy and relaxed. Then just recently I sold that car, and 3 months later I get a check in the mail with the refund of the remaining GAP insurance. I totally forgot or didnt even think of it, but Tires Plus Total Car Care being upstanding and honest cut and mailed a check without my even asking.
