BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!!! READ BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I AM ONE OF THE OWNERS OF THIS CAR!!!! I brought my Mishibishi Galaunt in because the transmission needed to be rebuilt. They fixed it so I thought but 5 months later the transmission started to go again. I brought a warranty so they had to fix it again. I had to pay to have it towed to their shop. My car has been there for 2 weeks and it is still not fixed. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!1beware!!!! Update : I got the car back today but it is still not fixed right!!! I received new parts but could not get a warranty because I wrote this bad review about the place!! WE WERE TOLD TO TAKE IT DOWN IN ORDER TO GET NEW PARTS WARRANTY!! Thats not right!! I will not take it down because it is the truth! If my car would have been fixed right the first time then I wouldnt have to write such bad things that are truthful!! We paid near $3,000 paperwork or not. thats why shops should have files especially if you sell warranties!!!! Again I say buyers beware before you take your car here!!!! They are nice until something happens with your car after they so call fix it! If you have to bring it back plan on renting a car for a month that they will not reimburse you for!!! SCAMMER ALERT!!!!! DONT GO HERE!! YOU WILL WASTE MONEY AND HAVE A LOT OF HEADACE! THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW THE TRUTH BUT THIS IS MY RECENT EXPERINCE!!!! PS: THEY SAY WE VOIDED THE WARRANTY TWICE HOW? NO ONE WORKED ON THE TRANSMISSION BUT THIS PLACE! YES I HAD OTHER WORK DONE ON MY CAR BUT IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TRANSMISSION!!! THAT SHOULD NOT VOID THE WARRANTY!! THATS HOW WE FOUND OUT THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS STILL MESSED UP! MY MOTHER DIDNT WRITE THIS REVIEW BUT I DID!! I OWN THE CAR TOO!! I HAD THE OTHER WORK DONE ON THE CAR SO I KNOW WHAT WAS MESSED WITH! SHE DOES NOT SO JUST ADMIT YOU DID A BAD JOB SO YOU GOT A BAD REVIEW!!! THE REST OF THESES REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE!!! THIS ONE IS REAL AND HAS BEEN OUR TRUE EXPERINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had a great experience with Transmatic Transmissions thus far. The staff has been helpful and friendly, my car was fixed in just a couple of days, it runs great, and I have a several year warranty that promises that this will be the case for quite some time. I was VERY IMPRESSED that I was able to get my car back in working order SO QUICKLY from Transmatic Transmissions. Ive had to have the transmission rebuilt on one other car in the past. The other company took over a week to return my car to me. The company that I used before only gave a one year warranty and in that one year we had to go back 3 times to have the transmission worked on (starting one week from the first time it was rebuilt). It is now past the one year and weve given the car to my father-in-law. It needs work on the Transmission again. They did not do a good job and gave us a hard time when trying to use our one year warranty. Each time, they had my car for more than one week. (Please keep in mind this was not Transmatic Transmissions - this is just for comparison to another companys work.) I wasnt really impressed with the price which was more than double what I paid for my last transmission to be rebuilt, BUT if Transmatic Transmission has enough confidence in their ability to provide such a long warranty and the transmission holds up as anticipated - it was worth it. Im crossing my fingers for a "you get what you pay for" scenario. I will update this review as needed. Thank you for fixing my car!

I want to thank Transmatic Transmission for doing such an outstanding job on my husband, Marvin Fulwoods 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. Our SUV started experiencing transmission failure about a year ago and it finally decided to give up this year. My husband contacted Transmatic Transmission and they immediately responded. They came by our home and towed our car to their shop. Now, let me say this, how many repair shops will do this? Not many. They began to work diligently, not only to diagnose the problem, but they began to work to fix the problem. We were amazed about the reasonable price we were quoted, but most importantly, the customer service was dynamic. Every person my husband came in contact with displayed nothing but concern and interest in the matter as well as a caring attitude. And our SUV is running like it is new. Love this company and we will diffinately and highly recommended them to others. Thank you Transmatic Transmission for your hard work and all that you do! You are greatly, from the bottom our hearts, appreciated to the utmost! ~Marvin Fulwood and family

I thought I was having transmission issues and took my truck to Transmatic Transmissions for repair. John, the "manager", told me my transmission was fine and that I needed a tune-up. I allowed him to commence the tune-up, and received my truck back in reasonable time. When I paid for my repairs, the service report was summarized so vaguely and my engine oil was nearly two quarts overfilled, while the other fluids were untouched (unchecked). When I called John back to ask him what was involved in the "tune-up", he explained, but seemed put-out and annoyed, told me I could bring my truck back in and he would "drain some of the oil". When I took my truck back, not even twenty minutes later (taking yet more time away from work), he met me saying that his crew had gone on lunch and I couldnt be helped. So I asked him to call me when he was ready, still no call. Seems like theyll do the work, until you call them out. Then theyll deny it. Or John wont do the work himself. If you had just owned up to your mistake, I would have given you return business. Good luck in the future.

Almost an expensive and wasteful trip. Had them diagnose my saturn, because the transmission acted up once the car was warm when I put it into gear... They told me it did not need a rebuild but was definitely something internal and wanted $475 off the jump to take the transmission out and see what the issue was... Then Id have to pay more to have it fixed, if they found it. I didnt like not knowing the problem, along with the shop but forking out almost half a grand... Turns out, there was a short in the wiring behind my fuse box that was causing the issue! Sure glad I didnt trust this shop and agreed to the $475 payment, along with whatever they decided to make up and charge me and not have even fixed the car!
