Please, do not take your car to this specific Firestone! Ive been taking my car to Firestone for years and never had a problem until I moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina and had my car serviced here. I took my car in for an oil change and for them to look at my windows. My windows were working but had to be pushed up a little bit once they were closing at the top. When they returned my car, neither of the windows were working at all, meaning I would push the button and nothing would happen, and the drivers side window was open an inch. It was also going to cost me $1,600 for them to get my windows working again because the window motor and everything had to be replaced. I knew my windows needed to get fixed, but they should have tried to shut the drivers side window! For days, I tried calling the manager, Jason, to talk about shutting my drivers side window but he was always out. Eventually, they told me to bring my car in at 4 pm to speak to Jason, but when I showed up he was out. When I finally talked to Jason, he said that they did nothing to my window because it would have taken 3 hours of labor to have broken my windows. They had my car for three hours though. My friend who is a lawyer came in with me to this Firestone, and he finally had them shut my window! I took my car into Old Town Foreign Car for a second opinion, and they said nothing had to be replaced. It was an electrical problem, and the repair cost me $300.

Do not take your car to this repair shop. They are complete rip off. My car was not blowing cold air. I had just replaced the cabin filter and wasnt sure Freon was topped off. I took the car to get the AC performance check done. They did the performance check and lied to me that it is leaking Freon (but doesnt know where the leak is) and there was no Freon left. But the guy kept saying that it is working fine now and need to do the evac and recharging. And he kept bringing up something about a radiator relay switch gone bad to divert my attention from the obvious problem and he was recommending something that is not even needed. He charged me $200 for basically adding few ounces of Freon and the mechanic standing in front of the car pretending to do something. I hated myself for trusting these guys. I took the car back couple of days later to check for leaks. The guy says there are no leaks. I got conned again!!!

The first time I brought my car here to get tires they put the wrong size on and I had to wait another 3 hours for them to get my car in to put the correct size and brand tires back on. Then against my better judgement I took my other vehicle in because I had a $170 firestone card, they did put the correct size tires on but tried charging me for the tpms rebuild kit which I told them on the phone I didnt want and still tried to put it on after I was there. They put some random valve stem caps instead of the ones that match my rims that I paid out of pocket for because someone lost my old ones. I would not recommend this place full of incompetent people that cannot follow directions. Their prices are rediculous also from hearing what they are charging for repairs I have been a mechanic for over 10 years and would never charge people the prices that they are charging for mediocre work at best.

If I could give it a ZERO star, I would. They staff is very friendly however I was told that I needed to replace front and back breaks/rotors. The cost of this was $875! The vehicle just started making a noise a day before I took it to them to do a break inspection. Luckily a friend of mine was able to work me into his schedule for a second opinion. Im so glad he did because not a single rotor had a grove, so no replacement necessary. Firestone wanted $80 for the front and $70 for just the back break pads. The guy I ended up going to charge me the straight price it cost him to purchase them which was $65 for both. I saved $720 roughly by getting a second opinion and not just taking their word for what "needed" to be done. I will not be going back to this location and Id recommend getting a second opinion prior to having any services done here.

Im not sure where the one star reviewers went, but I was very impressed with this store. After hitting a pothole the size of a small rhino at 70 mph while travelling through the great state of Virginia (I blame Tea Party a-holes for turning down federal highway funds), I have been fixing stuff left and right. When I went in to get my alignment and brakes examined at Firestone, I was pleasantly surprised to get good news on the brakes (theyre fine, just noisy for an unrelated reason), less pleasantly surprised to find out I had a bent rim (thanks Commonwealth of Virginia), and in need of an alignment. No charge for diagnosing my rim issue or checking the brakes; reasonably priced alignment. They even scheduled an appointment with an outside vendor to fix the rim. I will be back, and referring all the business I can here. Very impressed.

I would put 0 stars this is the worst customer service and car repair/service I have ever encountered, I took my car for a simple tire sensor change on a Ford Fusion and they end up messing my rim up causing my tire to leak! How in the hell do you not tell me you bend my rim before I pulled off with my car. They didnt tell me this the first time I went back they said it was just low air in my tire I see my light go off and I go back the second time and thats when they say what they messed up! Worst experience ever if you dont know what to do dont touch people cars I didnt even get a full refund of 127.64 I paid I only got 70$ back. I still think I should have received a full refund especially with them messing up my cars rim. Never recommend this location to no one.

After reading all the negative reviews, I decided to risk it. All I needed was an oil change, and all the negative reviews were about more complex matters. And, this was the closest place to my home that was open on Sunday. My experience was very good. The friendly man behind the counter even told me where I could find a coupon online, while I was waiting. Reasonable price (still much cheaper than the "jiffy" competition). I will confess though that it took right around an hour to get it done because I went late on a busy Sunday morning. Not too bad, because there is a McDonalds with WiFi nearby, where I got some work done.

A couple months ago I went in to purchase a particular set of tires, I was told that they did indeed have them in stock. I arrive and my car is on the lift, low and behold they do not have the tires but they will upgrade me. Boy howdy was it an upgrade. Not... The tires provided were absolutely sub par and dangerous. I went to return them the next day and was told that there were no returns, they blamed it on me wanting wider tires. They were not willing to work with me. So I am stuck with a set of crappy deathtrap tires. Classic Bait and Switch. Horrible company with Chinese made tires.
