I dont normally write reviews for places or things, but after the experience I had there today I felt that I had to. First off, I thought they closed at 5pm on Saturdays, but when I called at 4pm I found out they closed at 4pm. But instead of telling me sorry, youre SOL the service manager, Kyle asked me a few questions and then told me to come on over anyway. Once I got there he asked me a few additional questions about the vehicle and when I told him the year he said something is hinky because you shouldnt need a new battery if your car is a 2016. But he told me no worries, theyd get it tested and go from there. I have to say that all of the guys there were very nice, everything was done very quickly and I was consistently updated on the progress. Unfortunately, after performing the diagnostic test it was clear that it was a dealer issue and while I did need a new battery, purchasing one now wasnt going to fix the bigger issue, which was due mainly to the alternators inconsistent charging, or something within the cars computer. So while they werent able to help me with the actual issue they were able to get a better idea of what it was and save me from wasting money. But the best part was that when I went across the street to the shopping plaza, after I got back into my car it wouldnt start at all (before it would struggle a bit before starting, but apparently the battery chose that moment to completely die and I was stuck). But when I called Midas back (45 mins after they were closed) and asked if it was possible to send someone over to help me, they did it no problem and they got the car started and I was able to get back home safely. Unfortunately, I didnt get the name of the guy who came to my rescue, but I want to thank him and Kyle and all of the guys there who were extremely helpful by making sure that something that could have been a major headache was taken care of in less than 10 minutes. You can bet that I will absolutely be going back to there for anything car related, and I will definitely recommend it to anyone else who needs something done to their car.

My first visit here was semi-pleasant because one of the employees was very nice. I dropped off my car early, was told it would be ready by 4, arrived at 5 and waited until 730 for my car to be ready and I had to come back the next day to finish up. I knew exactly what i needed done and after calling 5 shops decided this was the best price with a guarantee. In the end it was an additional $120 than the original price given because of some BS. The salesmen are pushy and try up selling you every opportunity possible - people who work up front know nothing of cars and recommend procedures and diagnostic tests that are irrelevant and costly. I was also misled, thought they would perform a diagnostic procedure for free, considering I dropped $500 to fix my car, only to find out it was almost $100 and wasnt a guarantee whatever was discovered in their test. No thanks. Two weeks later, my spouse went for a routine oil service and to check out an issue. They tried to be sneaky and wanted to charge $60 for a "diagnostic" test that wasnt guaranteed and used scare tactics to pursue us it these procedures. They Performed some "diagnostic" test which provided no insight on the issue. Got them to remove the price of this because it was never disclosed the cost. Mechanic came out to talk to us and tried using mechanic terms to scare us into fixing the car issue right there and then. Luckily I know a little about cars and through Q&A the mechanic ended up disclosing the fact that they had no idea what was wrong and the procedure they wanted to perform wasnt guaranteed. I ended up fixing the item myself for the price of the diagnostic procedure by replacing the engine coils....I figured this out by process of elimination and searching for common problems with the car on google. Saved myself hundreds of dollars!! Avoid this midas and every other one. Beware if youre a Woman, Senior, or appear as if you dont know anything about cars. Theyre scandalous!

No way I can do justice to describe my excellent experience with Kiran Warnamally and the team at Midas. I mention Kiran specifically because he did something rarely seen these days in almost any service business…he put the customer first. My 2012 Nissan Maxima failed to start and in trying to jump it, I realized the problem was deeper than a battery. The post was loose and there was some surrounding melting so I knew I had a problem. I got it to Midas and this was verified when I was told the issue was a "battery harness" which turned out to be over $600, plus battery, plus labor, likely a $1000 job. BAD news. Then it turned out the harness was on back order at Nissan, with no ETA. WORSE news. Enter Kiran. Next day he called me with his idea to “build” the harness from the manufacturer’s parts. Instead of going on to the next thing, Kiran had obviously spent considerable time researching the issue and found the parts were available. GREAT news. Not only that, but the cost would be much less by almost $600. EVEN GREATER news. The car was ready the following day and as promised, Kiran and team did exactly what he told me they would do. I’m not sure which impressed me most, the talent or the attitude. They’re very busy at Midas so I know he took his personal time to research and find the answer. Truly incredible. Obviously I cannot recommend Kiran and his team at Midas more highly. I do now know there are professionals who care about their customers. In my case, Kiran found the answer and you can rest assured that he and his team will do the right thing for their customers.

Worst nationwide auto repair chain in the United States. Especially the one in Coral Springs. Had a oil pan gasket leak. Cost me about $660, which is probably fair price for that job since the pan has to be dropped. However, 6 months later I come in for a standard oil change and one of the technicians tells me that its leaking again. I asked if it was under warranty still but the tech tells me that its only under warranty for 30 days. I have NEVER EVER heard of an oil pan gasket going bad within that amount of time. Either the technician didnt seal the gasket correctly or i was being lied to about the second leak. The only work I had done in that time was regular oil changes. Long story short, dont waste your time on these crooks. They cant even do an oil change properly. On top of that they didnt even reset my engine light. After the oil change my dash light displayed "low engine oil level." And dont bother calling midas customer service because theyre worthless too. Customer service told me that I could only talk to the store manager about the issue. Unprofessional scumbags.

I have owned and operated my own tire and service business for more than 25 years.Unfortunately I sold my business about 3 years ago.I met Evan when I worked with him at goldcoast goodyear which is located next to his present location.I have used his shop a couple of times in the past and everything was ok.I had a leak over the past couple of weeks in my left front tire.I went to his store last week and he quickly looked at the tire outside his shop and was unable to find the leak.I asked him to order a tire and told him I would come back in a couple of days. When I returned I had the tire put on and paid my bill.I paid over $200.00 for a tire that EVAN my FRIEND AND FORMER CO-WORKER SAID WAS ON SPECIAL!!! I called evan that same evening to discuss the pricing and confirm that everything was correct. I did not hear from him so I TEXTED HIM THE NEXT DAY AND STILL NO RESPONSE.Evan is a creep and I will tell everyone I KNOW to stay far away from his store.I know that goldcoast goodyear are major rip off artists but Evan takes the cake!!!!!
