Pros: got my engine done fast, and detailed my interior well. So here goes my experience So my car has been out of commission since June the 6th due to a flood, between dealing with two different mechanics and having my insurance tow my car to another mechanic after almost 3 weeks dead at the first shop, then 2 weeks later at this shop where my insurance company recommended to tow my car, my car was finally finished with an engine swap on June 30th. I had no means to get to the shop so my father was going to pick up my car after he finished work. He like many other employees work until 5pm. What time does this shop close 5pm, i let them know at around 2pm that my father gets out of work at 5 and will be there. The shop calls me 2 minutes before they close and ask "are you going to be here, we only take cash were only here until 5:30pm, and we wont open until Wednesday" (Wednesday July 5th) i started panicking knowing im going to go 5 more days without work and miss out on working July 4th a very big day for my line of work, shortening the time i have to stop my eviction by a whole 5 days of busy holiday work if i dont get my car and i have told them previously in the middle of the week that i was facing an eviction and they said "better call your friends" but at this point as im getting nervous i mistakenly say "my father is on his way he should take no less than 45 minutes" i mistakenly and nervously said no less than 45 minutes at first and they gasped in shock giving me no sign of sympathy at this point. Then i corrected myself and said "no more than 45 minutes." After having to raise my voice over them because they wouldnt let me speak. My father calls the shop after telling me to ask them first for 30 minutes of time from 5:10pm, so he now he calls and asks them to wait for him since he has to stop by the bank to withdraw cash to pay the deductible and they tell him "youre wasting your time if you come after 5:30" my father felt mistreated and told the shop owner "im going to report you to the insurance, see you later" i call the shop to ask for sympathy and more time by saying "hey its Felipe i just wanted to ask for sympathy" and the shop owners wife cuts me off and says "i dont appreciate your father threatening my husband, see you Wednesday" and hangs up on me. How ironic that before a 4 day holiday thats FOUR 24 hours periods celebrating independence and freedom, a shop shows no sympathy to wait a minuscule 20 minutes longer so i can have my car to have the freedom to work on the 4 day holiday and this particular weekend could have secured double my rent and stopped my eviction. They robbed me of compassion that a good business owner could have shown to a potential future customer.

Absolute awful experience. I met Dennis because his business partner (Anthony AKA Tony) has a nephew I went to school with. I shelled out a ton of cash to get a new hood after a small fender bender. Fast forward 5 years and the paint on the hood is completely chipped off and horribly discolored. Obviously, these guys dont care to use factory paint and clear coat. Now, my hood looks awful while the rest of the car is still spic and span. I brought my car back in and showed them. They offered to repaint it for $600! Give me a break... Dennis if youre reading this, Im sorry it had to come to this. I hope you guys contact me and make this right, my info should still be in your records. All in all, if you want to get a paint job at A1 Paint & Body be my guest... Youre just going to have to fork over more cash in a few years to get it redone. My advice would be to get it done by someone thatll do the job right the first time with actual quality paint.

My car was in an accident.I called Dennis explained the situation he told me if I bring the car down he would have it repaired in a week but that didnt happen soon as I walk into his shop he ask me for the check that my insurance company sent took the looked at and wrote void on the check before even taking my car down for repairs however make a long story short picked my car up could not even drive 5 miles down the road and it ran hot ending up having to pay for new head gasket for my car after paying almost 3000 in repairs after my insurance company payed him 7300 dollars to fix my car I have only had my car back for about a month and half come to find out I have a oil leak and its still acting like it want to run hot HE IS A BIG TIME SCAMMER PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY BUSNIESS WITH HIM OR THE WIFE THEY ARE BIG LIARS BEAWARE

****STAY AWAY**** First meeting, they will give you a really low quote to get you in the door. After vehicle is at their location, they will proceed to repair vehicle at their will breaking the original contract. In another words, they will change the repair price and add more without even a phone call. As I arrived after all the nightmare in pricing, my vehicle was not at their location!!! EMPLOYEE was driving it!!! YES, they use your vehicle as they are repairing it" I have to wait for the employee to arrive driving it, 2 hours later!!! I collected all evidence on video. As you question the owner, he would cry about lock of space in his shop and also how his employees want a lot of money

Place was awful. I wanted an estimate on a full paint and an estimate on just a bumper. Guy said they dont do full paint jobs because took to much time. And when he came out for the estimate on the bumper told me I needed a new bumper I said I had it in the bed. He instantly looked at me said hes not interested and went inside. I would not go here its a waste of time. Horrible service. There name shouldnt even be up on google for paint.

WORST BODY SHOP IVE BEEN TO MY WHILE LIFE. I went there to get a repair estimate for my vehicle for pearl holding group. The estimate A1 did was inaccurate. They wrote down fake prior damages in the report. my car didnt have any prior damage. I went back to talk to Dennis and he admited that they messed up on the estimate related to prior damages but refused to inform the insurance company of such situation. DONT GO TO THIS SHOP!!!

Owner is a complete a**hole! He tried GLUEING my existing bumper while the bumper CLIPPINGS WERE COMPLETELY BROKEN! Do not recommend to deal with them! He says hes professional, But I can tell you one thing, he was everything but professional. He was rude from the beginning and does not know what he is talking about. If you would like your car fixed I would definitely recommend you to go somewhere else

These guys are great my car looks like new I have used them numerous times and they always take good care of me and my car cant even tell the car was hit even found the 100. dollar bill (emergency cash) I kept in the dash compartment these guys are honest and reliable they take care of any problems if they arise excellent service and quality
