On July 23, I contacted the CubeSmart call center inquiring about the rental of a storage space at the Davie, FL location. I was quoted 114.00 per month for a 10x5 unit adjusted to $102.60 after a 10% discount "special" for an "indeterminate" time. After going to the facility and doing the paperwork, I was then advised that there was a mandatory $12.00 per month added charge for "Protection Plan 2,000 Coverage". That amounted to $144. per year more at that rate. The company makes money on selling the insurance policies for what amounts to a very high for small space. The important issue is that CubeSmart is MISLEADING consumers by informing them about the forced insurance purchase only after the paperwork process has begun. They are DECEPTIVE and UNETHICAL in their selling practices by not disclosing over the telephone the true full cost of the rental until the customer is there and ready to sign. The obvious advantage to CubeSmart is that many customers like myself dont have the time to spend searching for the best deal and end up renting it anyway. CubeSmart seems to assume the customers are not so smart and that they are doing Smart business. It is now clear why the Public Storage facility directly next door to CubeSmart appeared to have higher rates for equivalent spaces. Shame on you CubeSmart !

Just left this location and I am amazed how wonderful, quick & easy the process was. Christian was great! Very professional and went over all the details. Christian even walked us to the unit and showed us how much to work the gate. My husband and I just moved from New York and unfortunately we have to stay with family for the next 2 months before we get back on our feet and we have been so stressed. Past few days have been rough and today was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Christian for all your help! 5 STARS!

As I try to combine 3 households into one after recently moving to Florida...I chose Cube Smart Self Storage to store some of my things...the staff is always extremely helpful, accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The facility and the units are clean and easily accessible. In fact, I am so pleased with the staff and facility that just took a second storage unit for the rest of my things. It was a painless process, thanks to their team!!! JSB

I initially had a misunderstanding with the scheduling and move in date of the unit but it was quickly rectified. Manager Courtney Mack was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the entire process; even staying late to accommodate me. He was very professional. The facility was also clean and everything was good repair. I hate having to store stuff outside my home but Cubesmart has always exceeded my expectations when the need arises.

The facility is clean and well managed. The units are all walk in and pretty clean, I was impressed, I also did some competition research and Public Storage charged more for the same unit I got (5x5x8). First month free is true, no switch and bait here. Staff was so helpful and courteous. Best facility Ive visited. I am a new customer and Im very happy with the customer service here. Highly recommended this facility.

I have been at this location for several years and am continuously impressed with how great the staff is and how helpful they have always been. The general manager John has built a great team and a terrific environment. It is always clean and I always feel my items are safe and secure. I would recommend this location wholeheartedly over their nearby competitor for price, service, security, ease of access and convenience.

Very clean location, nice and friendly staff. A lil pricey, but worth it. Only complaint is 1st time moving things in I was locked in the storage at 10:03pm. I called the police and was out within 30 mins. Lol Wished the desk clerk emphasized the importance of "leaving" the property by 10pm or had a sign posted. I was under the impression I wouldnt be able to get in after 10pm.

John, Sasha, and Chris was instrumental in helping me to organize my completely complicated life. During a very trying time, moved from Denver and a child in the hospital. Sasha found me a storage unit right away. Then when I finished the move Chris help me get another one. Later John help me to consolidate. I am so very grateful to them all

The GM Courtney, was fantastic. I had to get another locker or larger size and it wasnt available. So, he followed up with another client with their reservation that they had. They ended up not needed it which allowed me to get the size I needed. It was profession and courteous. Great customer experience!
