Extra Space Storage at 11851 SW 147 Avenue, Miami, FL 33196 is a storage facility above the rest. My experience started when I inquired and met with Wesley. The explanation about the incentives they had to offer, the cleanliness, security, time availability, and Climate control, and ease of use made the decision to store my valuables at this facility all the more better. In all my times of going in and out of the storage, the facility has always been kept in order. The staff is always available especially with someone on property at nights. I recently had a critical situation of misplacing my bed rails outside of the elevator. Wesley worked diligently in researching and trying to locate them knowing how critical and valuable it was to me. The persistence paid off because one of the tenants mistakenly picked up the rails and fortunate for me was returned after over two months. Wesley went above and beyond his call of duty. Great customer service is hard to achieve. I truly recommend this storage facility to anyone because my experience has been nothing but a pleasure and a mind of relief.

I was happy with the unit but not the customer service. I bought some supplies from them and they remained unopened so I wanted to return them. When I asked for a printout of my receipt they were unable to find it in their systems but were able to find my reciept from the prior purchase I made a few minutes before. I think they are messing with inventory and stealing from within. I dealt with a younger Hispanic guy I think his name was omar. When I told him I was taking this problem to corporate he told me that it was a waste of my time that corporate would have him call me to explain what he had just explained. Next time Ill take my business to a different company. Now I am stuck with 20 dollars worth of stuff I dont need and will never use.

BEWARE: THIEVES!!!!! MY THINGS WERE STOLEN FROM THIS STORAGE PLACE BY THE MANAGER OMAR, HE ALSO CUT OFF MY LOCKS! Omar is the ONLY one who had direct access to my unit! Omar is a incompetent, pathetic gremlin who is clearly stealing from peoples storage! No one deserves their items to be stolen especially when youve worked so hard for them but I can guarantee you, Omar wouldnt know the first thing about hard work since he just takes what is NOT his. DESPICABLE and ROTTEN ACTIONS! Ive reported him to the POLICE! I almost dont even want to touch the rest of my stuff knowing Omars hands were anywhere near it. Complete and ABSOLUTE FILTH! Steer clear of this place, please!

I needed a storage unit, and signed up to reserve the space online. The following day, I needed to make it to the store before they closed at 6pm, but I was worried that with traffic I would not make it from Coral Gables in time. Omar called in the morning to assure me that he would be willing to wait a bit after 6pm, if I did my best to get there. Thankfully, I arrived just a few minutes before 6pm. He was courteous and helpful. He even showed me a few different storage unit options, until we found the right one for my needs. He was beyond helpful, and Im very happy with the service from the staff at this store.

I recently rented a unit at this location. I was bowled over with their customer service both on the phone and in person, which is something very rare nowadays. They were very helpful and took the time to explain and give recommendations. This location is extremely clean, which was surprising as I used a storage place many years ago and they didnt even come close. I give this location 5 stars for their friendliness, cleanliness and affordability.

Both Jennifer & Wes that work here have been more than accommodating to us and always have a smile and welcoming attitude for all customers that come through the door. They are always willing to go the extra mile to show available units, discuss different options, and facilitate the entire process. Definitely a very positive experience!

I just rented a 10×10 unit at this location and I was extremely impressed just walking in. I received excellent customer service from the moment I was greeted, specially by Elvis who was extremely helpful. This location is extremely clean and I am more than happy to store my belongings here. I recommend this location to anyone who needs a storage. My 5 stars are for cleanliness, customer service, and affordability.

The service at this facility was excellent. It was a pleasure to work with Robert Ferrand, the assistant store manager. He was helpful, honest and did all he could to help me with my questions/concerns. The facility itself is very clean and well-situated in the west Kendall area.
