I HATED my experience with Rick Case Hyunda, 925 North Sate road #7 fort lauderdale FL 33317. PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I worked with Omari Samuel as my sales rep and although he was good the overall experience at Rick Case was terrible. They had me there for hours which was expected but then in the end they didnt allow me to take the car until the next day. On that day when i went to pick up the car they said i had to return to get it later. I finally left that evening in my brand new 2017 Elantra to then be harrased by the finace manager Donovan Jaehrling daily for paper work. Why allow me to sign everything, walk out with the car if your job wasnt complete? Then the bank calls to verify my paperwork and some minor discrepancies occur, which i am unaware of at that time. I recieve another call from Donovan about the 10th call in a week, he is stating i have to go back for the 5th time to fix paper work. At this point i am livid, these people just wanted to make a sale, did everything backwards and now im paying for their mistakes. I loss pay and time to go back and fourth to this place. I go into the dealership and find out i am there so they could take my car back from me because of the issues with the bank. Donovon got me in the dealership under false pretenses and then wasnt even there when I arrived. I am appauled by the behavor and work ethic at Rick Case Auto. I have been leasing cars my entire life as a licensed driver; i have no repos and have always had the payment withdrawn automatically out of my accounts but this place is just corrupted. They literally said i couldnt leave until my bosses, who are in London, called and send the right papers. If i didnt just spend all this time and money on this vehical i would have just given it back. After putting me through all this Stress and demanding everything be sent by 12pm, no one is aswering or returning my calls from the dealership. Please go somewhere else when buying a car because these peope are shady, unprofessional and heartless. I have a sick child who i take to school and doctor appointments daily and they truly insiting on taking my vehical because of their mistakes. I wouldnt reccomend this place to my worse enemy!!! GO TO KING HYUNDAI!!! I SHOULD HAVE!!

Positive: I got my A/C fixed Negative: After making a service appointment for Tuesday August 23rd, 2016 to check up the A/C, my wife left our Sonata 2007 for service. Since no one got back to us the same day, I called the following day and left several voice mails to our representative David Berrios. However, I was never called back to receive report on the vehicles status. After many attempts, I finally got in touch with the service rep, but since he was taking care of another customer at that time, he told me that he will call back in few minutes to report on the status of the car. I never received a call back. An hour later, I finally requested to the operator to check on the status and after several minutes of holding on the phone, she said that the shop had not been able to check my car due to their back log. Later that day, finally my rep got in touch with me to tell me that the car was ready. He also gave me the repair cost when I ask him. We I got to the dealership, to my surprise, the repair cost had risen $36 dollar above the price I was quoted on the phone - then after 15 minutes of talking to the cashier and she making few calls, the price went down to what I was quoted on the phone. When I got in the car, the passenger seat had grease finger prints on it. At that time the service department was already closed, so I asked to one of the sales manager at the front desk of the dealership to help me out. I finally got my car back with a clean seat, after waiting for 45 minutes. I wonder, (1) What is the point of making a service appointment for a given if it is going to take 24 hours to even check the vehicle? (2) Why did I have to call at least ten time got get a status report? and (3) Why did my service rep did not return my calls in a timely fashion? I am very disappointed the way I was treated by service department of a dealership of Rick Case Hyundai Davie. And, to add insult to injury, I receive an email saying: “Regarding your recent review of Rick Case Hyundai Davie on SureCritic, Tim Meyer has replied: Our management team will be contacting you. Timothy Meyer - Customer Relations Manager”. I was never contacted by their Management Team or Timothy Meyer.

My wife doesnt like to visit dealerships, she always feels pressured to buy a car and she didnt want to go with me to see the cars, as soon as we went Hector Moya greeted us with a smile and kindness, Hector made us feel like family, the best service ever! Paul Wright made sure i left with the price i was looking for and the car that met my needs, Paul and Hector worked extra hard and they managed to get me a deal that i couldnt resist. At the end we left with an awesome Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with backup camera, bluetooth, touch screen radio, HD audio and seat warmers. Hector called me the following day to ask me if we were enjoying the car, most dealerships just sell you a car and they dont call you back because you are just a number, thats not the case here. Im recommending my friends and family to purchase their vehicles with him. Update: 6/20/2017 (The sales team and sales managers are great, this situation doesnt have to do anything with them). I bought a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe at Rick Case Hyundai located in Davie, FL on Sunday June 11, 2017. I did a test drive with the windows up and i didnt hear any noise, 3 days later my wife tells me that she can hear a noise coming out of the front passenger wheel, a scraping sound. I decided to check it my self but i couldnt see what was going on. I kept driving the vehicle and the sound got louder, so i decided to make an appointment at Kendall Hyundai because it was closer than the Rick Case dealership, they found the problem and it was 3 wheel weights placed by Rick Case Hyundai to balance the wheel, the weights were scraping the brake caliper. Kendall Hyundai charged me $142.27 for removing the wheel, removing the weights and rebalancing the wheel. They told me to call Rick Case Hyundai so they can help me with a refund of what i paid for at Kendall Hyundai, i have called 8 times in 2 days, i talked to several employees they cant help me, i tried to speak to a manager and i have left 3 voice mails and nobody has responded back.

Sadly, after 6 years with the brand and two with Rick Case, I departed due to a not-so-fair treatment. When I traded my leased Tucson in 2011 they received as down payment and gave me a beautiful Sonata at a great deal. This time around they promised via email to give me a "great deal" if I traded it and the deal was a "Popular Package" Elantra for the same montly payment as my leased Sonata Sport… I basically asked the salesman and the accountant/sales manager if they were kidding and why they were insulting me like that? The options they gave me were simply laughable and I was asking for reasonable stuff but no, they kept coming with monthly payments that looked more like Mercedes or Maserati. Mind you, I LOVE the brand and I have loved every single Hyundai Ive driven, including my Excel in Venezuela, but CMon! After a Tucson and a Sonata I ended up getting mad and switching to Toyota which, happily and sadly gave me an awesome deal… What do you know? Two days later I get call from Rick Case Hyundai telling me that they had made a mistake and that everything matched now (magically somehow). I didnt like they way I was treated simply because I was being loyal to the brand and the dealership and because I have Excellent credit and an array of reasons more… The treatment was kind of disrespectful; made me feel like I was begging for a good deal which I wasnt; I was asking for a reasonable deal and not leasing a cheap Elantra priced as a Santa Fe Sport. Something went wrong and its sad, I guess I will come back at some point. This feels just like one of those relationships or a job you drop visualizing it will be much better when you return… And hey! Theyre charging me $421 for returning the Sonata of course, even after Toyota paid what I owed… SMH!
