04/13/2015 So thankful we used Roto-Rooter Plumbers! Tony came out from Palm Coast, FL all the way to Ormond Beach / Daytona Beach area right at the beginning of the appointment window, same day. His knowledge about the area was critical to solving the problem. He braved the pouring rain looking for our septic tank. We just moved in and the listing for the house clearly stated City Sewer but Tonys background and observation skills said otherwise. We quickly contacted the City to confirm, and sure enough we have a septic tank! He called for backup from his Roto-Rooter pump tank truck just in case we needed it. The two guys found the tank buried under the ground with a bush planted over top! Very friendly, helpful and patient the entire time, torrential downpour and all. Tony stayed in communication with us every step of the way so we knew what to expect next. Turns out roots had grown in to the line and totally messed it up! The guys dug it up, fixed it AND pumped the tank. However, they didnt stop there! We had a washing machine delivery during the same time window and they noticed our valve stems for the hot and cold water were the original from when the house was built in 1979. Not only did they need to be replaced, (badly) but the red and blue values were swapped! Tony went and got the parts, and replaced both with fancy new hardware that featured threaded lines in case we need to work on them in the future. He also gutted two lines that were sticking out from where a fishermans sink used to be next to the washer and dryer to prevent total chaos. This job was way more than any of us involved could have imagined. I am so glad we trusted a Roto-Rooter plumber because they lived up to their great reputation! Will definitely call again when its time for our newly located septic tank to be pumped again. Thanks Tony!

Update: After about 4 weeks, 3 techs showed up and finally fixed the drain. They had to remove debris from the roof line and change a pipe underneath the kitchen sink(I could be stating this incorrectly but as I mentioned prior, Im no professional plumber). Anyhow, long story short...4 weeks & 3 guys our kitchen drain has finally been cleared up. Did not fix the issue! Water was backing up in my kitchen sink. Called these "professionals". Guy comes out, snakes the drain but comes up with nothing. Said the main line is clear but then suggested that I have one of their camera techs come out to inspect the line for an additional $390 just to determine if theres a crack in one of the pipes. Also says that theres a 2nd main line in the front of my home that he couldnt find (which didnt make sense to me at all but hey, Im no professional plumber plus hes been in the business for 17 years so he knows what hes talking about right?). Needless to say, after paying $200 for nothing because my sink is still clogged plus he left my kitchen a mess, theres no way Im forking over another red cent to these folks. I do not recommend this service at all!

I relocated to florida, in December, wasnt sure how septics worked, and our toilet and shower were clogged. I went to the phone book and looked up plumbing and there was roto-rooter. My problem started the prior night and I called at 8am this morning, there was a serviceman here within the hour. The serviceman John was very professional and courteous, the other fellas that came to pump out septic were also professional and courteous, my problem was fixed in no time. The best experience I had with this company was great. Furthermore I will recommend as often as I can. I am a retired woman and was so thankful and how the service men put my mind at ease. Thank you Roto-rooter, thank you

“ I thought maybe my septic was getting ready to be full and cleaned after a few years so I called the Daytona Beach Roto-Rooter location Wednesday afternoon, and they sent a tech out before noon to inspect and drain the tank. The tech, Eric, was very professional and efficient and helped answer my questions. He finished cleaning the tank and filter, and was surprised we didnt have a problem, but were being pro active. I called around and was recommended to use Roto-Rooter, which I was happy and satisfied. It was so hot to be working outside today. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this type of service and will use them for future plumbing needs. Thank you!

The Daytona plumber took 2 hrs to realize that he could not unblock my sink clog with snake. He said that he would come back in morning with pressure jet. He came back in morning stating that his boss wouldnt allow him to use the jet because it was to too messy a job. Then proceeded to tell me that they would have to cut into my wall to get to pipes, costing me over $1000.00. I decided to get second opinion and did not use them. They still wanted to charge me $296 for fixing nothing(wound up paying $150). FYI... Another service took 15 minutes to fix clog with snake. Moral of story... Dont use these clowns!

One of our tenants had a kitchen sink clogged pretty badly. Called Roto Rooter and got an appointment within a few hours. The young man who answered the call was very knowledgeable, neat, quick and professional. Within a short time, he had the plumbing under the sink apart, trapped water drained and was snaking out the drain. This continued until he verified via the outside main drain that the clog was indeed cleared. He re-installed the trap and pipes and cleaned everything better than when he arrived. Really happy with his service - asked his name and have plans to ask for him when the need next arrives.

First I called mid-morning and the young lady who took my call was very polite and informative. She explained the service representative was in my area but presently on a call and that when finished with the prior call he would be at my home today. Next thing I knew Justin showed up and quite rapidly and efficiently assessed our problem an d came up with a solution. My order number is 46917. I was also reassured with the 90 day guarantee he detailed to me. I have placed the company number and his name in my list of dependable repair people to not only use but recommend to others.

We had just finished renovations on our rental home in Daytona Beach and lost hot water pressure due to a leak in pipe in the foundation. Roto-Rooters plumber was there within two days and completed re-piping the entire home. Steve the plumber was both friendly, knowledgeable and did an outstanding job and cleanup. Because we have a flat roof he had to use ingenuity to get the pipes where they needed to be inside the home with the least amount of exposure and he did just that. Very pleased with the job Steve did. It could not have turned out better.

I called RotoRooter to determine what was wrong with my plumbing and they used a video camera and determined the cause of my toilets clogging up was a broken pipe. This was done very expeditiously and in a very courteous manner by Jon Molihan. Then I was given an estimate for the repair and Jon came back several days later and worked all day and repaired the lines and rerouted them. He did an excellent job and informed me along the way of what he was doing. The invoice numbers were 153408 and 153412 for this service.
