I used to work for Strouds (which now goes by Sunshine Cleaners, due to the owner owing money to the IRS) and lets just say that the owner is a thief! I quickly quit the job when i found out the practices this man was making his employees enforce. DO NOT GO to this cleaners. Half of the time they dont even clean or press the garments properly. He does not use detergent and even sometimes does not press some of the articles. A lot of drug usage is going on in the premises as well. I will have to say that the employees are great people, but the owner is a whole different story. Rude, liar, and unprofessional.

They dont clean. They dont press. If they did press I wouldnt be able to easily scratch yogurt off my blazer. They hand wash silk ties with soap and water then returns them wet. (Yes I know I shouldve did the tie myself) They attach a tag that says special on the pieces and wrap it in plastic. I assume the local police department patrols around in dirty uniforms as there was a whole rack of them. Maybe I shouldnt of did same day? Oh, and they spilt coffee on the sleeve of the blazer in front of me and didnt say anything. But its ok accidents happen.

I took my wifes leather coat to be cleaned. They said no problem be back in two weeks. After four weeks of not having the coat with lots of excuses I caught the owner at the store when opening at 7am. He found the coat.....it had been totally trashed ! He was full of big stories about how bad the coat was instead of just not cleaning it he sent it to his daughter helping her learn how to lie and decieve customers. Please beware if you really like the clothing you are dropping off. Very bad business possibly the daughters place in Daytona too.

If I could give these jerks a minus 5 stars I would. They ruined a $75 casual dress shirt and refused to pay for it. Soooo off to Small Claims Court we go!! My name is Gary Radavice. I thought they should know that!! P. S. That goes for their DeBary location as well.

Sandy Dry Cleaner is under new owners and a brand new management staff. It will be a family run business. Please give us a chance to show the great people in Deland and nearby cities that we will be the best dry cleaner.
