I was disappointed that the plumber, Trevor gave me a quote of $360 for a job that should have cost between $150 and $175. He said it would include a plate to cover the tiles he had to cut to get to the pipe that was leaking. I know that the copper pipe 4"-6" in length that needed to be replaced costs no more than $10. When I asked him how much to do the work without the plate which costs $17 at Home Depot, he gave me a price of $275. This is still outrageous! I was very upset and surprised at the very high quote for just replacing a 4" copper pipe located to the right of the t-connector beside the cartridge. I told him that his price was unacceptable. He attempted to justify his price by saying he needed to make a clean cut and the price also, included cleaning up. Of course, he is expected to make a clean cut of the tiles and cleanup after hes done. This would be expected by any worker coming to a customers house. Lame justification! I was not expecting this (high ball quotes) since, 4 Star Plumbing has many positive reviews on Review Buzz. I am hoping I will see this review posted here and on Facebook so, potential customers can make an informed decision whether to call 4 Star Plumbing. If this review is not posted to Review Buzz and FB then, I will know that they only post positive reviews. I do not know the relationship between the contracted plumber or employee (Trevor) or, if his quotes are the standard prices that 4 Star Plumbing requests. Final Note: When I told Trevor that I would cut the tiles and replace them myself + cleanup his work ... he gave me a new price of $198 which I thought was the maximum price of what I should have been charged ($150 to $175). I agreed to the $198. Of course, I had to replace the 2 tiles myself the next day. I am hoping that this review will cause 4 Star Plumbing to reevaluate their high ball estimates for work. I believe that most people would prefer a reasonable price for the work instead of, high balling a customer who then needs to negotiate a lower price. If Trevor had not brought his price down I was ready to call another local plumbing company.

Sunday morning we heard a hissing noise coming from our refrigerator accompanied by water all over the floor. Based on some google searches it seemed to be leaking gas/freon and that it would be better to buy a new fridge than try to repair the broken one, not to mention ours was 12 years old anyways. We went out that day, purchased a fridge, and had it set to deliver Monday. As the installation crew started to set up they pointed out that the problem wasnt actually our fridge but the pipe that came from the wall had a pinhole and was spraying water. They suggested I call a plumber to fix it fast. I took their advice, googled local plumbers and found 4 Star Plumbing Services. After reading about 10 positive reviews I gave them a call and explained I needed someone immediately. The tech was on his way before the installation team had even left. My tech was David (or Dave as the confirmation email said). He was knowledgeable, polite, helpful, and quick! I had him check out another issue while he was there and he provided me with different options and quotes for those options. I will not hesitate in the future to give 4 Star Plumbing Services another call should a plumbing issue arise. Thank you!

We had a leak in the handle of our shower stall, and we called 4-Star for help in diagnosing and fixing the problem. I had an appointment for 10-12pm today, July 2nd, 2015, and everything went fabulously as it always does with 4-Star. Carmen called me early this morning to let me know that Alex was on his way, which gave me plenty of time to put my dog in another area of the house, as well as letting me know the name of the technician ahead of time (Great service, Carmen! Thanks!) Alex arrived, and he was friendly, professional, and definitely knew his job. Within less than a minute of me showing him the problem, he had it figured out, explained how hed fix it, and had quoted me a very reasonable price to do so. Then after a quick trip to his truck for tools and parts, he fixed the problem with our valve perfectly. I dont think our shower control has ever felt this brand-new since we bought our home 8 years ago! Not sure what kind of magic Alex managed to work on that old shower handle of ours, but it now looks and performs like its brand new. We couldnt be more pleased. (Awesome job, Alex!!). I would highly highly highly recommend 4-Star plumbing to anyone.

Eddie and his assistant came to our home on time They were very clean and made sure the work area stayed clean They assessed the job and then brought in only the tools they needed The job was to disassemble an old garbage disposal and replace with a new one They were fast, efficient and knew what they were doing There were a couple of tricky things that could cause problems later such as installing the new drain collar and seating the new garbage disposal so there would be no leaks later Eddie knew exactly what to look for and how to ensure there would be no issues in the future The new garbage disposal did not come with an electric plug - can you believe that - Guess Home Depot wants to sell you that too Eddie took the old plug and was able to reuse it on the new one avoiding extra cost and time to get a new plug Eddie made sure there were no water leaks and fully tested All done, all went well Thank you to Eddie and crew

I have been working for 4 Star Plumbing for 5 years now. I remember when I came in for my interview and my boss looked at me and asked me, Are you really going to like what you are going to be doing here at 4 Star? Why he asked me that, was because I have a Paralegal degree and for over 20 years worked in the legal field, but I wanted a change in my life. Well I really do not regret at all working for 4 Star Plumbing or with the staff. Its the best company I have ever worked work very professional from the front office to the back warehouse from the boss to the junior tech. this company really strives very hard to be the best plumbing company out there. I dont only say this because I work there I have also needed plumbing work done in my house and boy I have to say Eddie the tech. is the most meticulous plumber I have ever met. My opinion when you need a good plumbing company call 4 Star Plumbing you wont regret it!

These people lied about the cost to come out. I asked the receptionist on the phone like 5 times, what does it cost to come out and take a look and she said its free more than once. Its NOT free, its 95 dollars to take a look and then to tell you how much it cost to fix is free, the "estimate is free", according to the tech that came out. So basically NOTHING is free. Now Im not surprised its not free, but tell people that before they schedule an appointment and definitely if that person ask like 5 times, like I did. And the tech wasnt the most courteous, he was abrupt and short in responding and almost seemed bothered or like the job was below him, once I said Im not paying him 95 dollars, he stormed out and didnt even say anything else or wait for me to let him out. I wont be using this company ever again and will tell friends and family not to use them also.
