Outstanding Service by Empire Plumbing The office building here is approaching some 70 years old. A single story structure that was “combined” with an adjoining structure some thirty odd years ago, and not surprisingly, we have had plumbing issues from time to time. But in the older structure, we have recently experienced fairly significant backup and sewer odors in the office proper. We are required to obtain several bids for any work exceeding a certain dollar amount, and so we contacted a number of plumbers for inspections and quotes. We decided to hire Empire for the job because of their professional manner, the detailed inspections, and their pricing as well. They engaged us into the inspections and tests, and provided detailed explanations as they worked. They wanted to make sure that our entire plumbing system (throughout both buildings) was not compromised, nor connected, as we had been led to believe, and that our issue was in only one structure. After the initial on-site inspection, I received a call from one of the owners/managers, who wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with not only the results of the inspection, but he wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the demeanor of the workers who actually worked onsite. That impressed me greatly. They were absolutely professional as well. Because of the age of the structure, there was a discovery of a possible problem, not discovered at the original inspection (having to do with an underground waterline), but before they completed the original job, they made sure that we were OK with the add-on before they covered the ground, to save time, energy and costs. And it turned out that the add-on was not necessary after all. The entire company experience was one that I am quite impressed with, from office staff, to on-site workers, including the billing process. Absolutely terrible. I manage a number of properties for foreign clients and I remember having bad experiences with them some years ago not showing up or following up. I almost hesitated but then called first thing in the morning two days ago. Gave the information on the leak, the phone for a maintenance guy in the building, the contact info for the management office of the bldg and MY phone number with the express statement of keeping me updated. I just called to find out what the visit yielded yesterday....the girl that answers the phone hears my name and says...."oh yes you were on my list to call, we tried the maintenance guy and hes not answering". I couldnt believe it since its over 48hrs from my contact with them and coherence would dictate calling me if they cant get a response BEFORE the scheduled visit....and yet I had yet to receive a call 24 hours AFTER the scheduled visit. I will NOT forget to NEVER call them again this time. Its 2016, and if not common sense/courtesy/just simple business etiquette, at least technology should keep this company diligent...but I guess thats too much to ask.

I have used Empire for years, they are the best, most reliable company I have used. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and actually seeing his team work. It was almost time to close when I arrived at Empire and I got to see and meet many of the employees leaving. I entered the building and were greeted by two lovely sisters that work there together and a few staff that had not left yet. As I was there the owner got a late call from someone really in need. He called out to his staff and they all worked together to take care of this client. That is what I call TEAM WORK, and that is why I use Empire. OUTSTANDING!!!!!

I scheduled them to come out in the morning hours, 2 days in advance. They were supposed to come between 9-11 (very standard practice). They never came. I called them around 11, they said their guy went to cover an emergency call. I kept on waiting, I then called around 1 PM, they said their guy was still at the emergency call. RIDICULOUS!!!, if youre running late or not even going to show up be courteous and call the customers to advise them of your time schedule. I basically wasted a whole day of work waiting for them and they never even showed up. TOTALLY dont recommend using them.

Awful. I was told a part was needed for my faucet repair and it would be in a few days. I called every few days and was told the part was still not in and I would get a call in a few days multiple times. They NEVER call back. Two weeks later I called and they stated that a mistake was made and they put the wrong invoice number with my order. I was back at square one and I needed to pick out the part, WHICH THEY HAD THE WHOLE TIME. Very unprofessional.

Empire Plumbing did a phenomenal job fixing a few issues i had in with my house--and they did it quickly with the right price. The came out "after hours" to fix my toilet that was constantly backing up and replaced my water heater. Not only was the in house service efficient and done in a timely fashion but i received a call from their office the next day to make sure i was satisfied with the service. Thank you for your service.

I worked with a gentleman ,Phil, at Empire and could not have been more satisfied! When a hot water heater breaks, you need to get it replaced quickly. Empire gave me a great price - which included having to redo some plumbing - and they installed the new heater the day after the old one broke. The city inspectors came quite a few days later and we passed! You cannot ask for better service or pricing!

Worst service ever, called several times left courteous message, emailed several times. Finally got on the phone with the person who handles the rentals, Jim I believe after dealing with rude receptionist and I couldnt finish getting the address out he cut me off and hung up. Worst people ever. Glad I didn't rent. And if it would let me leave zero stars I would.

Hello, dont schedule your time around when they say they are going to be there. For me I scheduled 2 days in advance, they never came. When i called they told me they thought it was for tomorrow and they would send a plumber out in 1/2 hour. 2 hours later, still no one. Now they promised tomorro morning. LOL. They are not reliable when it comes to showing up.

I had the hot water heater replaced at my condo on Monday morning. The plumbers arrived early and were very courteous and professional. They cleaned up after the job was completed and disposed of the old water heater. As you can see I was well pleased with their service..Thank you again Empire Plumbing..

At least thats the impression I got from dealing with them... They skipped the first appt and promised to get back to me about when they could complete the job. They never did and I used someone else which is what I should have done in the first place.
