Brought my dads laptop in with a cracked screen. Computer was working fine. We paid extra since we were crunched in on time (dad was flying to GA in less than a week). They contacted me to tell me the screen replacement would be $580 because they could not find the screen anywhere else, but one place. My dad said no, they insisted since it was "the only one" they could find, but we denied the service. They said since no screen was replaced, they could do a backup because it wouldnt cost me anything extra and tried to sell me a flash drive. I said I had a 64 GB flash drive, they said it would be more than enough. When we brought the flashdrive over, my dad asked them if they had a screen film, or something similar to cover the screen so pieces wouldnt fall off and hurt him. Guy said there is no such thing and assured my dad no radiation problem (dad was really worried). They called me back saying it wasnt enough, tried to sell me again, we said no and I had to bring another 32 GB. Gentleman told me he would have to start backup all over again because he deleted the prior backup because "he thought" I wanted all in one. Meanwhile, we lost 2 days already with miscommunication, minding you we already told them we were really short on time. Finally, I called back on Saturday around 12:30 and they said computer was already done. Ran over there to pick it up, since they were closing and Monday my dad would be gone before they were opened. As soon as we drive off, computer didnt work. We thought no battery!! Got home and computer still didnt work. Call CM at 2:30 PM on Saturday and left a message. Monday, dropped off dad at airport and stopped by CM to solve problem, only to be told they never checked if screen was working or not, but after putting it back together, they tried to back up and said screen was not working. We left computer working perfectly fine, the only problem was a cracked screen. My dad even asked for an alternative solution since the repair would cost the same amount of a new computer. I asked them why would my dad asked for only a screen protector if screen wasnt working, they said they never checked if screen was working before they took it apart!!! All they said was sorry; but they did through in my face that they already did a backup for free as a courtesy. I didnt ask for a courtesy, I PAID for the to brake my dads computer. Now, I have to pay another company to fix what they broke and pay shipping since my dad already left!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I have been using Computer Medics for over 10 years. I want to thank you once again for all the help that you have given me with phone calls, house calls etc. We are now 80 and today, your technician Alan came out to Sanibel and helped set up my computer so that I could use it in the porch area off our bedroom on the main floor of our condo. I did not want to climb the steps to the loft area to have a constant connection every time I wanted to get on line. Alan was business like but very courteous and kind in every way. He showed patience and answered my every question---even showed me why the TV did not work(because the box had not been turned on again in the loft after the Comcast man got all the TVs working)! Furthermore, he graciously helped my husband by answering a few questions he had using his Android Tablet. You are fortunate to have such a capable and nice employee working for you. With gratitude I sing Computer Medicss praises. Thank you for absolutely excellent service!!!!

Wanna give a big thank you to everyone at computer medics for helping me out with my problem. It really means a lot. My computer was acting was very strange for the last couple of months. It got so serious that I decided to visit a computer repair shop for help. Thank god I found these guys! They were more than happy to check out to see whats up. Super friendly and all of them knew exactly what theyre doing. They have all the software and tools they need to find the problem. And they DID! I couldnt believe they actually fixed it! I had them replace some of the parts that were making me miserable for the past couple of months. They knew I loved to play video games, so they picked the parts that were right for me. And everything was super cheap. I swear if I went anywhere else they could easily charge me double. Highly recommend to anyone and Ill definitely be using theyre services again.

I have a small remodeling business and rely on my Dell laptop to run good in order to do my job, billing and estimating while on site. I was having a lot of slowdowns and couldnt stay connected to the VPN server at the office. I brought it to Computer Medics and they were able to not only get it running good again but they were able to setup good security protection to prevent malware from hijacking my internet connection in the future. I was so impressed at how quick they got me up and running i had them come to the office and check my network and the VPN server itself. They identified the problems and provided solutions quickly. They also were able to fix a wireless scanning issue i was having and suggest some better backup solutions to the cloud. Thanks to Computer Medics my business is running better than ever. I would highly recommend them for any small business.

Computer Medics is wonderful! They are a small business and I have used them for well over ten years. I have watched them grow over the years from a small company out of Mikes house to a new office building off Metro and they continue to be very knowledgeable, helpful and invaluable with computer repairs and all the other problems that come up with computers! They are able to diagnose many problems remotely which saves both time and money for all concerned. I have recommended them to other family members and friends over the years as well. In addition to repairs, I purchased my last desktop from them in addition to 2-3 lap tops we have purchased over the years and they have ALWAYS taken care of any problems that have occurred. It is great to see a business such as theirs surviving and doing well and I trust them with all my computer needs and repairs! Great company!
