Address: Fort Walton Beach FL 32548 Our normal mailman is great! I dont have a problem with his service. However, when our regular postman is out or off his replacements do a horrible job!!! Not once, not twice but four times in one year. If I was working there, I would have been fired by now! October 2014: Letter from Tampa Florida was sent on October 28th and still has not arrived in the mail. I called the Post Office and was hung up on 3x because I called in at 4:30pm. I explained my issue and as always, the person I spoke to took it as a personal attack. "Well - If your mail piece is not addressed properly that would cause a delay!" Im pretty sure I know my address. September 2014: A letter from Jacksonville Florida took 9 days to deliver. When we received it, the labels stated undeliverable/unknown address. We have lived here for almost 4 years. It was sent back to the sender and then came back to Fort Walton. March 2014: Package from Atlanta, GA with tracking code showed delivered in Fort Walton Beach, but didnt show up in my box until April 2014. Each time I called, I was dismissed because of system error. I called the company I ordered from and they verified tracking number was accurate as in my confirmation email. February 2014: Letter from VA was mailed on the 17th didnt arrive until March 10th, no labels indicating undeliverable or unknown.

I walked into a post office twice in the past week. Mailing a letter, a speech "does this contain hazardous material, explosive material...etc... blah, blah, blah, so help your God?" Me, "No, its a sheet of paper and an envelope, not a package- your stamp machine is broken." The trees & bushes needed to be trimmed, the outdoor collection boxes needed paint. Yesterday I tried to get a key for our outdoor mailbox from another postal location. Postman said take a letter you received there and theyll give you a key. I walked in, 4 people at the counter talking to each other. Eventually some woman with sunglasses on her forehead, gestures that they were done talking and they would grant me an audience. She said I not only needed the letter but a copy of my lease. I left without comment. Went back to work, and called and called and called. No one bothered to answer the phone. This is a business that is failing, despite TV ads proclaiming how good they are. Whether they are failing because politicians want them to fail or they dont care, I dont know. Very sad.

Had a package I thought was going to come in today, however, they obviously do not deliver to your door here because I got left a notice saying there was no secure location available. WTF? I was home, at my apartment, waiting for him to come my direction so I could at least prevent him from having to go up the stairs, but no; he just drives off, not even trying to bring my package. When I lived in Mississippi, the postman would literally drive up my long driveway and walk my package to a safe place on my porch. WTF, Florida! Oh, I live at the Heather Glenn Apartments. Now I have to wait for something that I was supposed to get today... Really? FedEx takes my packages to the door, but not USPS? I was literally 7 seconds away. Give me a f#$%Ing break!!!!

UPDATE: DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I just had another package not delievered. This is the 3rd time theyve done this. They misplace packages all the time. There was another guy at the post office ahead of me with the same problem, and they were giving him the same answer. "We dont know where its at right now" If you can avoid using USPS then do it. FED EX and UPS are not that much more than these people, and you will get your packages. 2 YEARS AGO: Extremely horrible and irritating to deal with. My package was never delivered, and when I called them about it they didnt even bother to help find it, instead they told me it wasnt their problem and that I need to call the police. Rude, if you could use UPS or Fed Ex DO IT!

Absolutely terrible! I had 4 packages incorrectly delivered to my previous address BUT I had a change of address on file. Nonetheless, my packages were never forwarded. I spent about 2 weeks trying to hunt down my packages; I called the post office multiple times and spoke to multiple people. I gave them the tracking numbers, my name, and phone number but STILL nothing has come of it. I do not understand how a post office can just lose 4 packages. Im extremely dissatisfied and angry with the laziness of the employees that work at this post office because ultimately, that is the reason why I still do not have my packages.

Terrible service. This is the THIRD time Ive had a shipment from Amazon not come to my address when its been the SAME address every time and has worked multiple times. Called for thirty minutes today, every time Ive called the phone is off the hook. When Ive gone in person before to ask, Ive gotten nothing but, "Maybe you should put your correct address on the shipping" and when I show the package address and my own address, theyve shoved my package at me and locked the door. The other time they shut down forty-five minutes early, and the woman snapped at me that she wanted to go home. Hate USPS.

Worst postal service ever I change my forwarding address and had a package sent out the package got forward it to the new address but apparently its been forwarded to my house since February 13th 2016 and its February 23rd 2016 now still havent heard or received anything everytime I call the office and has a busy signal on the phone if you can use any other carrier besides USPS do it these people ought to be ashamed how theyre running this postal services highly disappointed they should be embarrassed to put United States in front of it.

They are rude and wont answer the phone. I had a package lost and all the tracking went to that post office but when I talked to a lady there she said they did not even have that tracking number in her system. Well Dhl delivered it there and it states that it was delivered but I did not get it. I have not heard from her yet and it has been three days so I guess they just expect you to say oh well I paid for a package so I dont care if it is delivered or not. I am going to write the post master general not that it will do any good.

This is the worst post office I ever know. I am regret I cannot to rate it less, like negative stars. They allways have a huge line of people waiting to be serviced, and it does not matter how many people are working on front! You will always be waiting. The stuff are friendly, but they are not hurry when servicing customers. They are carefull and polite with a client, who they are working with rignt now, but what about other 10-15 people who are waiting a long time?

Absolutely the worst customer service, extremely rude, wont answer the phone...have called over 30 xs. Phone has never been answered, just rings and rings. They have totally messed up a temporary mail forward for me (individual), and no other post office can help me (seems like BS to me) No wonder the USPS is a failed Govt Run entity. The sooner we privatize the mail system, the sooner customer service will mean something.
