HAIM LEVY - owner/manager is either totally incompetent or totally dishonest. I took my Toyota Camry/Solara to have an oil leak repaired. Haim told me he would put some dye in the oil to find out precisely where the leak came from(cost $ 38.58) Fair enough so far.... Then I was told that the rear seal of the engine was at fault. The dye in the oil had spoken with 100% convincing certainty. I asked for a written estimate described as follow Remove and replace oil pan gasket $ 409.08 Remove and replace crankshaft oil seal $ 1005.17 Crankshaft oil $ 23.38 Front wheel alignment $ 69.95 Hazardous material $ 9.95 for a TOTAL of $ 1668.77 (not including tax) $ 1768.90 (after tax) I almost went for it if it wasnt for the front wheel alignment discreetly tacked in the estimate which rang an alert bell. What does the wheel alignment have to do with the oil leak? I paid for the $ 38.58 diagnostic oil dye and left so I would have time to decide what to do. The next day I took my car for a second opinion to a mechanic my neighbor recommended as "HONEST ABE" No dye in the oil was needed. After a visual inspection he told me that the rear engine seal replacement was BS (not needed at all) the leak was coming from the oil pan. It was promptly and efficiently repaired at a cost of $ 306.83 (tax included) No more oil leak! Hey FOLKS that is a difference of $ 1462.07 that Haim Levy was going to "steal" from me. This guy is either totally incompetent for misdiagnosing the problem or totally dishonest for trying to pad his wallet with unnecessary repairs. I am convinced it is the latter. I am mourning the $38.58 diagnostic fee he managed to extract from me, but I am happy to have debunked a scammer who has no business being in business. The automotive repair industry just got another black eye. DONT WALK AWAY from JUMBO.....RUN RUN RUN or more wisely NEVER GO THERE AT ALL.

I made one visit to this place and it was enough to come to the conclusion that though the staff members I dealt with were polite and helpful to me, this locations reputation is being stained, not by their commitment or their efficiency but by the person there who seems to me to be the one in charge there his name is Hiam, on top of telling me he could not figure out what was wrong with my car which I could understand because nobody on earth is God, but his disappointment with himself for finding his lack of experience with my yr, make, and model car clearly became obvious when he started talking to me as if I had conspired to come there and embarrass him in front of his staff, he quickly lost all professionalism if he has any by being the rudest person I had ever come across, treating me with total disrespect and when I mentioned this incident to a few people most of them mentioned having dealt with his rude attitude before and they all took their business elsewhere and never returned there, so I dont doubt they have lost a lot of potential clients due to his arrogance and foul demeanor ,I had my car fixed two days later by someone else but the first thing I told my wife as we left the jumbo location was "why do they have that guy working there? and if hes the owner he needs to hire someone who can take his place there who can act professional and respectful", I would recommend this to potential future customers of this place: If youre going to use their services you will have a better experience if you can avoid Hiam and his rudeness and disrespect.

On 05/06/2017 I went to jumbo to check my car overheating problem after Ive changed my radiator and thermostats and hoses myself, They told me they will charge me $35 for radiator leaking pressure test, They did it and they didnt find any leaks, so they said they will charge me $95 to know why the car is overheating, I agreed, after doing so they said it is the radiator cap and they only charged me $53.75. And I changed the cap. On 05/08/2017 The car was still overheating, I called them and I said I think its the heating core since the heater inside the car doesnt work and smell like radiator fluid, I also said If he can just connect the two hoses and its cheaper way, also since we in Florida Im not going to need the heat anyways. They asked me to take it and leave it overnight and leave the key in a little box outside and they will take care of it next day morning, I told him how much is he going to cost me, He said its gonna be free since I paid 2 days ago. I left the car and the keys in the box and I wrote on the envelope to let me know if it will cost anything before doing the job. I went in the morning and to get the car, they charged me $123.12 that includes $16.95 antifreeze but when i looked in the radiator, The radiator had only water. In my point of view the money I paid for the Antifreeze and the $53.75 to know why the car overheat should be refunded, because Im the one who told them its the heating core. they didnt find it out on their own.

Hiam is the head guy and he inspected a Cummins diesel Ram 2500 prior to purchasing it on Craigslist from NJ, then he serviced it prior to my 1200 mile trip home! His inspection was highly detailed and accurate, so based on that I purchased the truck got it serviced and drove it home. The truck had a rebuilt title so there was a lot to inspect for 35 bucks. This guy and his mechanics did the maintenance like trans fluid change, trans adjustment, fuel filter change, front end alignment, brakes and brake fluid and repacked the bearings. This crew did more for less and included little details most shops would skimp on, not Hiam and his crew. Unbelievable what these guys did for me to strengthen an already incredible purchase and take it to the next level of precision and quality after they determined it was a good purchase. Words cannot really describe how satisfied I am! Thanks! Cummins Power! 9/29/2016 Just a follow up on the truck which Jumbo inspected prior to purchase then preformed maintenance on the 2500 HD Dodge pickup prior me flying in and picking it up to drive to NJ! The truck is still perfect and runs beautifully! Thanks guys! Have it inspected by Jumbo before purchase! Cummins power/fuel mileage!
